******KYLE'S P.O.V.******

It was hard, difficult really, not to dip my head down and kiss her right here right now. I didn't care who was watching, they'd get a free show so there wasn't much to complain about.

I wanted her bad. I wanted her lips, I craved them. It felt like it was just the two of us here, that everything else didn't matter as I held her in my arms staring down at her beautiful face. Her eyes shown bright, gleaming agents the lights overhead. Her skin flushed with rosy cheeks. There was no hiding that I made her nervous. I could feel the steadiness of her breath pulsing through my hand that was placed underneath the small of her back.

Had I only been given five seconds more I would have rocked this girls world, but.... of course not? Fate just wasn't on my side, not this time or second.

Instead, we get rudely interrupted.
"Good first rehearsals everyone! I'll see you all on Tuesday!"

I see Alexis' eyes open as she falls out of whatever trance I'd put her in.

I look at her and she looks uncomfortable as I still have her in my arms from when I dipped her down and was about to practice that PG-rated kissing scene. Maybe even make it into a PG make-out scene.

"Are you going to let me up?" She asked as I snapped out of my daydream. I gave her a smile and slowly lifted her back onto her feet.

" I guess I'll see you later princess," I said and she turned to me, eyes wide.

" I am not a princess, and I seriously doubt that." She said and I raised a brow.

Within no time at all Alexis had gathered her bag and made her way out the door.

I must have gotten under her skin because I didn't see anyone else running for the door like that.

"Excuse me Ms. Evens, but can I take a look at the attendance book for one second?" I asked and she looked puzzled but then smiled.

"Sure dear it's just on the table." She said politely before heading to her office down the hall.

My eyes searched the page and when I found what I was looking for my eyes light up like fireworks.

I quickly looked over to Jordan giving him one of my so-called 'playful smiles' and bolting after her.

"Oh come on, Kyle!" Was all I heard as I went to find my Cinderella.

Took me no time at all to find her standing at her locker switching her books.

"Alexis!" I said and she turned.

"Yes? Sorry, can I help you?" She asked strangely.

"Wow, now you haven't changed one bit!" I said and looked her up and down.

I guess maybe that wasn't the best thing to do because Alexis crossed her arms over her chest and her beautiful brown eyes shot daggers at me.

"I'm sorry, Is this some kind of pickup line or something? Because I'm not following?" Her face still a bit angry but also confused.

"Ouch, you don't recognize me?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No sorry... am sorry but I'm not really following what's going on here." She said and looked awkwardly past me as if hoping someone would come to her aid and get her out of this uncomfortable situation.

"I'm Kyle..." I started off and she just interrupted me.

"Yeah I know we just had class together..." I rolled my eyes.

" We also use to have class together back in elementary school," I said and she gave me a very confused look.

"I'm sorry I think you have the wrong girl, I went to school in Boston." She said and I laughed.

"Alexis Carter. You use to come to school with a tiara on your head and had this fluffy bear named.."

"Mr cuddles!" She said beaming with a big smile.

"Yeah, I use to take him from you at nap time," I said laughing a bit.

"Omg, that was you!" I watched as her face changed to a more serious stern look.

"Yeah..." I said as I scratched the back of my head hoping that she wasn't so in love with her bear anymore that she might spare me for my past crimes against Mr. Cuddles.

"Wow, I use to hate you so much for that! Oh, and Mr cuddles would want me to give you this". With one fast movement shed managed to nudge me in the shoulder with her hand.  I looked at her in shock of what she'd just done and her supper serious facial expression before we both burst out in laughter.

"Haha yeah, I deserved that. I guess I had a big crush on you back then..." I said and stuttered as I saw her eyes widen at what I had just said. I cleared my throat awkwardly trying to break the tension and maybe ask her a question. Instead, she just beat me to it.

"So wait what are you doing here?"

" Uh, it's a long story!" I said rubbing my eyes.

"I'm sure I can keep up." She smiled.

"Maybe next time." I gave her a smile.

"Sure." She nodded her head.

I don't think she knows who I am now and I quite liked that. She had no idea about me, the guys, the band, nothing! I wasn't ready for her to start treating me like everyone else would once she finds out. Sure enough, it was only a matter of minutes before someone told her who I am.

"So wait what are you doing here?" She asked her and her eyes widened.

"That's also a really long story." She said as she shifted uncomfortably.

"Enlighten me." I smiled curiously as to how she ended up here.

"Maybe next time."

"Well if tell my story then will you tell me yours?" I asked.

"What are you bringing me here?" She raising one eyebrow.

"Why are you bribable?" I said and raised one eyebrow copying her.

"Let me think ... Nope!" she said and smiled.

"Ok then do I need to buy you coffee or something? Name it and I'll do it!" I asked her pleading to know her story. She had me very intrigued.

"It's not that..." She said sadly and turned her gaze to the floor below us.

"Then what?" I said moving closer to her and placing my hand on her shoulder as I tried to console her. Something was bothering her... badly.

"It's really just a sob story that I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear." She finally said looking up at me her eyes filled with a sadness that wasn't there before.

"Why is it because I'm a guy?" I asked and her jaw widened.

"What?" She said totally confused.

" Well, you see most girls think guys don't like or can't handle sad things like The Notebook, which I happened to have seen five times by the way," I said trying my very best to make her laugh.

"No, it's not like that." She said sadly then realized what I had just said and began to laugh. "Wait what you have seen the notebook !"

"Yep and it was actually a pretty good movie," I said and she busts out in this cute little laugh.

"Yeah, it really is." She said trying to stop her crazy cute chuckles.

"Wait no! Stop trying to distract me."

"Dam, you caught on to me." She said and I nodded.

"Hey, I do know you," I said giving her a smirk.

"Surprisingly!" She said with a bit of a chuckle and smiled.

"So you going to explain why you can't tell me?" I asked and then it hit me. "Wait a second... you're not one of those girls who had this boyfriend and followed him all the way here and then he broke up with you, are you!"

"No, I broke up with him." She said shaking her head and crossing her arms.

"Really!" I was in shock.

"No. But why would you think I would be the dumpy, not the dumper?"  She asked fully serious. I laughed.

"I don't know, you just seem to nice to hurt someone... I don't know." I said awkwardly and her eyes widened.

"Thanks, I think." She said not sure if I meant that as a good thing or a bad thing.  Maybe she thought I meant she didn't have a backbone.

"So how about we get together some time after school and we can go for coffee or something. Because now that I've mentioned it I really want it." I said practically asking her out and...

"Geez that sounds great but I can't." She said and I was in shock. I'd never had a girl turn me down before.

"Wow is the story that bad?" I asked her thinking maybe that was the reason for her declining my invitation.

"What no. I actually can't come, my mom needs me to help her go shopping for a dress she really wants my input." She said and I must say I never anticipated the girl to be busy.

"Ok well if anything changes let me know." I smiled as I watched her get her things and lock her locker.

"Will do." She smiled and then headed down the hall.

Well, that went well... I thought in my head as I watched her make her way through the busy hall filled with students tell I could no longer see her.
