******KYLE'S P.O.V.******

  Well I must say I have never been more embarrassed than I was about five seconds ago. I was so sure I was late for Drama class after chatting with Cole and Andrew that I came running into the class and practically screamed here at everyone.

So much for being polite and using my indoor voice...

I made it just before Ms. Evans called out my name on the attendance. But I sort of cut her off in the presses when she was calling out someone else's name.

Well, I bet they're a fan so they won't mind.

I look around as I walk over to the circle formed on the carpet floor. I instantly see Tiffany waving for me to come to sit with her.

How tempting...

It's then that I see her. Alexis?

" Sorry, I'm late." I apologize and sit next to a girl sitting near Alexis.

"Well welcome Mr. Knight. Ok well, let's get started. Today we are going to be getting into our groups for our production of the play Cinderella and one of my favorite childhood movies."

Great! How girly... I thought and rolled my eyes.

Why couldn't we pick a Bond movie or something other than a stupid princess play?

"I'll be splitting you off into groups and you will be voting anonymously for who will be playing what role in your group." Ms. Evans said before getting up and splitting the groups apart.

"Ok let's see. Ok, so Alexis I would like you to be with Adrian." Ms. Evans said and I watched a blond haired girl get up and walk over to Alexis.

"Ok and let's have Tiffany and Jordan join Alexis and Adrian's group." Ms. Evans said and I watched Alexis' eyes widen and her body stiffen. 

Well, I guess it's safe to say they're not exactly friends. 

I waited patiently for Ms. Evans to call my name and put me into a group, however that was not the case.

"Ms. Evans? You haven't placed me into a group." I said nervously.

"Oh yes, well I thought you might like to have the option to pick." She said with a wink and ran off to hand out the scripts.

Me... pick! Well, this was a first! 

Normally I never got to call shots for things. So without hesitation, I ran over to Adrian, Jordan, Tiffany, and Alexis.

"Hey, um Ms. Evans put me in your group." I said nervously and looked at everyone. But when my eyes wandered over to Alexis she turned away.

"Cool so does anyone actually like this play?" Adrian said looking at the script in her hands.

"Yeah duh there is a prince in it!" Tiffany said with a smile. "Oh and I totally think Kyle should be the prince. He'd be perfect for the roll! Oh, and I could be Cinderella!" Tiffany said all excited and I heard Alexis let out a laugh.

"Like you could actually pretend to be a servant." She said and everyone snickered.

"I could too!" Tiffany said stubbornly.

"Fine we can take a vote, but I kind of see you as more of the evil step mother don't you think"? I said and everyone's eyes widened before they started laughing hysterically. Well, all except Tiffany of course.

"Oh wait I got it! What about we cast Tiffany as the fairy godmother? Now that would be something!" Adrian said and everyone smiled evilly at her.

"Now that's a great idea!" Jordan said and winked at me.

"Saves you from having to kiss and dance with her," Jordan whispered to me quietly and I chuckled.

"So then I'll be the king I guess," Jordan said with a shrug.

"Wait you don't want to fight to be the prince?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"It's more entertaining to see you act and be charming." He said while giggling.

"Hey, I'm charming!" I said and he nodded.

"Sure you are," Jordan said before Adrian shook her head.

"Ok well, I've always wanted to try playing the evil villain so I guess I can play the evil stepmother. But then that means we need a step daughter and a Cinderella. " Adrian said and just then Breanna came running into the room.

"Breanna! What are you doing here?" Alexis said and ran over to her giving her a hug.

"Well, Ms. Evans told me that there was an available spot in your class so I had my guidance counselor switch me into your class," Breanna said before Alexis shrieked and the two of them started hugging again.

"Ok well, let's take a vote because I don't want to be this old fairy godmother. I'd rather be the evil sister. Anything but an old woman!" Tiffany said complaining to all of us and I just rolled my eyes. Without even realizing I ended up rolling my eyes at the same time as Alexis.

When she noticed what happened she let out a cute little giggle. It was quite cute.

"Ok well here's the sheet so fill this out and we'll start rehearsing," Adrian said and handed everyone a paper with all the cast parts for us to fill out.

"Oh and don't go voting for yourself Tiffany," Adrian said and Breanna, Alexis and I let out a laugh.

Evil step sister: Breanna. Breanna was very good at playing evil characters so this would be an easy roll for her.

Fairy godmother: Tiffany. Jordan was right... there was no way I'd kiss her again! That was a one time mistake!

Prince: Jordan. Ha, this would be funny to see but I knew he would end up being the king like he knew he would end up being.

Cinderella: Alexis. Well, I would definitely be ok with kissing her!

King: Me. Highly unlikely to get the role but this will be funny.

Evil Stepmother: Adrian. I believe she should play the role she wants to.

I handed my ballet to Adrian who went threw them with Jordan.

"Well, no shocker who the King and prince are!" Adrian said rolling her eyes.

"Congratulations prince," Jordan said bowing down to me and I did the same.

"Thanks, dad," I said and we laughed.

"Yes sick I'm the evil step mom sick!" Adrian said smiling.

"Ok, so Cinderella is Alexis by a four out of five votes!" Adrian said and we all looked at Tiffany.

"Seriously you voted for yourself? Breanna said and Tiffany shook her head.

"Why did I even bother telling her not to vote for herself, when she was just going to do it anyway?" Adrian said sighing and then looked back at the ballets.

"So Tiffany is the fairy godmother and Breanna you're going to play the stepsister," Jordan said and we all nodded.

"So wait I have to kiss him?" Alexis asked well giving an odd face at the same time as pointing at me.

"Seriously you don't want to kiss me!?" I said looking just as shocked as all the others.

"Yeah no. Not really...." She said while forcing a smile.

"I am more than willing to switch!" Tiffany said as she raised her hand.

"No!" Breanna, Adrian, Jordan and I yelled and she crossed her arms and glared at us.

"Fine, you can just have me kiss you on the check! You happy?" I said and Alexis smiled.

"Immensely"! Alexis said and I shook my head.

"I don't get you, most girls would be jumping at this chance to make out with me!" I said and she rolled her eyes.

"I'm not most girls." She said and I smiled.

"I know you're not," I said flirtatiously and I saw Alexis stiffen.

"Oh come on it's just one crummy kiss! It's not even a make out !" Adrian said and Alexis rolled her eyes.

"Fine, I'll kiss him you happy?" She said and I smiled.

"I know I am!" I said flirtatiously and she ran over and punched me in the gut.
