Toramaru: Nyaa~ *pounce cutely* Hello!

Me: Happy New Year's Eve guys! We're sorry if this isn't a story update, I promise we'll get to that in a while.

Fudou: *Smirks* For the meantime, this is a New Year's Special the team prepared for all of you. Each and every one of the members of Inazuma Japan will tell us their New Year's Resolution.

Me: *Looks at the team* you ready minna?

Everyone: YEAH!

Me: Alright then! Let's start with our very own captain! Endou-kun, you're up first!

Endou: *Surprised* E-Eh?! *thinks for a bit*

Kidou: Don't tell me you don't have a resolution... *massages temples*

Endou: *Grins* I-I do! I just forgot about it that's all!

Gouenji: *Sighs* You're hopeless...

Endou: *Thinks for a minute* AH! I remember now! My New Year's Resolution is to try to wake up early every morning so my mom won't scold me every time I get late for school.

Kidou: *Nods* That's actually a good idea. Good for you Endou.

Gouenji: I guess it's my turn now. Mine's very simple really, it's to try to get to know my dad again.

Someoka: *Raises his eyebrow at him* Eh? What do you mean?

Gouenji: I don't want to talk about it really, but if you insist, then I guess I can make an exception. *looks down* Since my mom died, it's like my dad became a whole different person from what he used to be. It used to bother me before, but ever since the FFI, I thought about how apart we grew during those years. So now, I guess I should try to get to know him again. Maybe by then, we can close the gap between us.

Me: *Sniff* S-Shuuya... *smiles* I'm really happy for you.

Gouenji: *Smiles back at me* Thank you Akira.

Kidou: That was great man.

Someoka: True that. That was really something. *pats Gouenji's back* *smiles then turns to Kidou* Your turn pal!

Kidou: Sure. *smiles* Mine's to be more forgiving of myself.

Haruna: I know why! Onii-san sometimes blames himself too much for his screw-ups and it's been downing him for a long time now.

Kidou: *Pats Haruna's head* Exactly. At least now I can try to let myself let loose from time to time. It's natural for man to make mistakes. *turns to Fubuki* you're up man.

Fubuki: *Smiles* Easy! This year, I want to know myself better. I don't want to be someone else's shadow and I can't let the chains of the past to keep on holding me down.

Endou: *Pats his shoulder* That's awesome Fubuki.

Fubuki: Thanks captain! *smiles*

Kazemaru: My turn! My new year's resolution is to try to have more confidence in myself. *smiles sheepishly*

Kabeyama: I'm next-su! I'm going to conquer my fear of heights and go on a diet-su!

Everyone: E-EH???!!!!!!

Kurimatsu: I don't think you can do the last part deyansu~

Kabeyama: Says who? I can stop eating when I want to-su! *eats another bag of potato chips*

Kurimatsu: *Sweatdrops*

Someoka: You'll never guess what mine is!

Gouenji: *Smirk* to try to surpass me?

Someoka: *gets irritated* Nice guess, but no. I'm gonna start doing voice lessons to become a great singer!

Everyone: E-EH???!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someoka: *Gets smug* I happen to have an amazing voice! Once I'm done with those voice lessons, I'm gonna be better than Gouenji!

Gouenji: I was right, you were trying to surpass me *chuckles* go on ahead Someoka, knock yourself out.

Kurimatsu: I want to get better at soccer deyansu!

Endou: That's the spirit!

Megane: That was good, but mine's totally better! This year, I'm gonna finish the whole first season and OVA of "Shingeki no Kyojin"

Haruna: With the time you spend watching anime, I would've thought you were already finished with that one.

Megane: *Gets depressed aura* I never got the courage to get pass the first episode... *shudders* The titans scare the crap outta me...

Haruna: *Laughs out loud*

Aki: Mine's to learn more recipes to help the team!

Haruna: Mine's to never spread another rumour unless it's beneficial to the team.

Kidou: That being said means you'll still be collecting rumours but you won't tell them to anybody except for the team, right?

Haruna: Hai! *smiles*

Natsumi: I guess it's my turn now, huh? Well, this year I hope to be nicer and more open to my friends. You guys may not know this but... You're like family to me *blush*

Me, Aki, Haruna and Fuyuka: *hugs Natsumi* same here Natsumi!

Fuyuka: I guess I'm next... this year, I want to start a new hobby, like reading or something. I won't stop soccer of course, I just thought I might enjoy something else too *smiles*

Hibiki-kantoku: *laughs for a bit* I guess I'm part of the team too, huh? Well, mine's pretty simple. I'm going to take better care of my health. I don't want to die early you know!

Kudou-kantoku: I'm supposed to tell mine too? This year, I plan to spend more time with my family. *pats Fuyuka on the head* *smiles* My daughter's growing up and I don't want to miss it for the world.

Kogure: I'll try to limit my pranking starting next year.

Kabeyama: AAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! TOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOOTTTTTTT! *runs around spewing fire from his mouth*

Haruna: KOGURE-KUN!!!!!

Kogure: Ushishishi~ I said I'll start next year!

Tachimukai: I-I guess I'm up. *breathes deeply* I want to make myself better at the things I do. I wanna be just as good as Endou-san someday.

Endou: Don't worry you'll get there!*Grins*

Tachimukai: Hai! I'll do my best!

Tsunami: Yosh~ My turn! Next year, me and Hijikata plans to teach the children at our island the joy of playing soccer!

Hijikata: Yeah! Think of it as our Community Service Project!

Kidou: That's awesome to hear guys, I hope everything goes well then.

Sakuma: Well next year, I'll be working on my patience. You know what they say, "Patience is a virtue."

Hiroto: Me and Kudou-kantoku have the same resolution. I want to spend more time with my family too. Both my adoptive family and my family from Ohisama En. *smiles*

Midorikawa: I want to do better at school. I plan to go to a nearby university for college so I might as well start preparing now.

Fubuki: Wow that's so cool! *smiles at him* Do you best then, yeah?

Midorikawa: Of course, dude.

Tobitaka: etto...I just want to learn how to be a good cook.

Hibiki-kantoku: I can help you with that. You can help me out at the shop and in return, I'll teach you what you want to know.

Tobitaka: A-Arigato Kantoku! *bows*

Hibiki-kantoku: Thank nothing of it.

Me: Akio-kun, it's your turn.

Fudou: Yeah, I hear ya. I just want to be more optimistic next year.

Kidou: That's actually... a good thing for you.

Fudou:*mumbles* thanks. *turns to Toramaru* you're turn kiddo.

Toramaru: This year, I'll help out more around the house!

Me: *Giggles* Maru-chan, you already did that last year.

Toramaru: Eh? Really? *thinks for a bit* in that case, I want to spend more time with my loved ones and let them know I appreciate everything they've done for me. *hugs me* especially you onee-san!

Me: *hugs him back* Toramaru... nee-chan will always love you. *turns to you* Minna, I hope you enjoyed our-

Fudou: Wait a minute, we're not done yet.

Me: *surprised* Eh? Who's not finished yet?

Gouenji: *walks up to me and smiles* You are, Akira. You haven't told us what your New Year's Resolution is.

Me: E-Eh? *gets flustered* do I have to?

Gouenji: *nods*... Now tell us "Utsunomiya-san", what's your new year's resolution?

Me: *blush* *looks away* My New year's Resolution is to be more productive... I want to make something out of my life and not just follow the crowd. E-Especially at school... the people there expect you to be academically smart. But I want to show them that I'm different from them, I can be good at other things too.

Gouenji: What's stopping you then?

Me: Cowardice... I'm afraid they won't accept me if I showed them that I have potential for other things other than schoolwork. The people there can be pretty judgemental. *looks down*

Gouenji: *holds my chin up* If they won't accept you for who you are then that's their problem. Their missing out on some rare talent from a one-of-a-kind girl. Be proud of the talents you have. *holds my hand*

Endou: that's true! So cheer up, alright?

Me: Alright! Thank you captain! *smiles at Gouenji* and thank you too Shuuya. You always know what to say...

Gouenji: Anytime... *smiles*

Toramaru: Well minna-san, thanks so much for sticking around! May you all have a blessed and bountiful 2016 ahead of you!

Fudou: And as always, thank you for your support and patience. We hope to be with you again next year!
