“I never said I was ok with this!” You screamed as your cousins pulled you in to the haunted house. You were always terrified of ghost and your cousins knew it, that’s why they chose to go in the haunted house before you all leave the fair tonight.

“Aww.. C’mon (FN)-chan! It won’t be any fun without you! Besides, we’ve already pad for you and everything! So there’s no backing out now! Plus, you still owe me for bailing at my birthday party last week!” one of your older cousins reasoned.

You bowed your head in defeat. If there’s anything you hated more than haunted houses, it was being in debt. That means, there’s no way out of this situation.

“(FN)-chan?” they all asked when you suddenly stopped struggling. You let out a deep breath and tied your (HC) colored hair up, just in case you needed to run really fast.

“Alright, I’ll go.” You said plainly as you took a deep breath before plunging in to the dark, creepy and definitely scary looking house.

Your cousins went ahead of you and you got to go in last. Since the haunted house had a maze-like interior, you all decided to part ways and see who gets to get out first.

Once inside, you saw the faint, grayish guide-lights along the corridors from the left to the right. The halls were completely empty, and for you, it meant the scary stuff would eventually appear later on when you least expected it.

You decided to take the left hallway upon instinct and then made a turn on the first junction. The lights were going on and off and you could hear the electricity zapping from the bulbs. Then, a cold chill went up your spine as you sensed a presence from behind you.

You automatically turned and regretted that decision later on. At the end of the hall you passed by, you saw a white lean figure walk slowly, it had no hair nor ears on its head; only a huge pair of black eyes and a wide sinister grin on its face. It was wearing a tattered suit as its arms hung at his side. Then it paused to look at you and then went back to walking; its wide, black eyes still glued on you.

That scene immediately got you running for dear life as you sprinted through the hall relentlessly, not caring how many turns you’ve made and what other spooky horrors you’ve encountered.

Eventually though, you were stopped when your foot manage to stumble on something at the hospital themed part of the haunted house. Considering the size of the famed haunted house, it totally made sense that it had its own divisions and themed parts, not to mention the ‘labyrinth-like’ maze in it.

You tried to stand, but with no avail. Unfortunately, you managed to sprain your leg on the fall. Internally sighing, you commended yourself for having the worst luck ever.

Strange sounds started to attack you as you imagined every single horror movie you’ve watched and every creepypasta you’ve read on the internet, trying to get to you. You closed your eyes, feeling the cold air around you and the creepy sensations that came with it.

You were utterly scared now as you started to cry. You didn’t know what to do; all you knew was that sooner or later this haunted house will close down and you’d probably be stuck there all alone till morning. Honestly, you never knew what was worst, the darkness or the isolation.

You then stopped crying as you heard footsteps coming near you, it was making you scared as hell. You thought it was that ‘thing’ wearing a suit again so you didn’t even dare to look up.

The footsteps grew louder and louder; and with it, your heart pumping like crazy as you readied yourself to what may come.

“(FN)-chan? Is that you?” a familiar voice said.

You instantly looked up to see a pair of warm brown eyes looking at your (EC) colored ones. Then you noticed the orange bandana on his head, holding up some parts of his chocolate brown hair. He was wearing an orange tee shirt topped with a black hoodie, jeans and a pair of grey Vanz.

“C-captain?” you asked. The figure smiled and knelt down so he could hear you better.

The figure was no other than Endou Mamoru, captain of Raimon’s soccer team. As a manager, you’ve known him for quite some time now; but as a person, you wanted to know him more. It was pretty obvious that you had a thing for that ‘soccer-loving cutie’, the other managers knew you liked him. Everyone on the team knew, everyone except… him. Unfortunately, you were too shy to confess and was too dense to notice your feelings.

“Are you ok (FN)-chan?” he asked, pulling you back to reality.

“Y-Yeah…” you lied, “What are you doing here captain?”

He smiled and scratched the back of his head, “Well, me and some guys on the team decided to see who’s the bravest, so we kinda made it a contest to see who can get out of here first. Unfortunately I got lost, so…yeah. How bout you?”

“My cousins and I kinda had the same idea. But then I got scared by this weird ‘thing’ with the suit, so I ran and ran until I stumbled and sprained my leg. Now I can’t get up.” You answered, embarrassed.

“Oh, you must really be scared. I heard someone cry a while ago and I thought they were in trouble. Who knew I’d stumble across you? Oh, here. Let me get that for you.” he then took out a white handkerchief and wiped your tears away.

Then he slowly caressed your face with his hands and using his thumb, brushed the side of your cheek. “You don’t need to cry anymore ok? If your ever get scared, just hold on to me. I’ll protect you. Now let’s get moving.” He then picked you up bridal style. His movements were so fast that before you knew it, you were holding on to his neck and your eyes were closed.

When you opened them, you saw Endou smiling brightly at you.

You felt your heart beat faster and your cheeks warmer as you managed to smile back.

The two of you managed to leave the hospital area and began to walk along the corridors. Nothing scary came out yet, so you knew you were safe. At least for the time being.

The small noises didn’t bother you anymore because you were safe in Endou’s arms. You could hear and feel his calm and soothing heartbeat and the warmth of his body was enough to make you fall asleep. You could stay in his arms forever…until…

At the corner of your eye, you saw some movement by the end of the long hallway you were in. there, at the very end was the ‘thing’ in the suit, still grinning and its eyes stuck on you. You could feel Endou tensed as he readied himself to run.

Just then, the ‘thing’ started to run towards you two at a terrifying speed with its long and gangly arms flailing behind him.

Endou broke into a run, and your held onto him like it was nobody’s business. The both of your ran through the hallways until you’ve reached the ‘old-school-building’ themed part of the haunted house. Amazingly, you’ve lost the ‘thing’ chasing you.

Endou probably didn’t notice the brick in front of him and tripped. He fell on top of you with his face being dangerously close to yours. At that time the guide-lights shone Endou’s adorable features…and the little tint of pink on his cheeks.

You could’ve stayed in that position for a long time, admiring Endou’s  cute blush when you felt his soft lips on yours. You instantly melted in the kiss and grabbed a fistful of his hair to deepen it. He then coaxed your bottom lip, you opened your mouth and he slid his moist tongue inside turning the once innocent kiss into a hot, passionate one.

Once you two pulled away, Endou blushed and smiled at you. “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do that with you.”

You smiled at him too, “Really? Me too. I love you Endou Mamoru.”

He leaned in and pecked your lips, “That’s unfair. You should’ve told me first (FN)-chan. That way, I could tell you that I love you too.”

He then picked you up again bridal style, both of you still blushing at the sudden confession. “Let’s get going before-“

His sentence was cut short by the sound of someone running towards them…as they turned, the ’thing’  was speeding in on them. You quickly grabbed Endou’s neck and hid your face on his chest. He then kissed the top of your head and started to run.

“I told you. If your ever get scared, just hold on to me. I’ll protect you.” He said with a small laugh and ran his way towards the exit where your cousins and some of the team were waiting for the both of you…

Really sorry if its short, if I made a lot of errors in this story, or if the punctuations are all wrong. But hey, cut me some slack. I was very sleepy when I wrote this…it was all worth it though!!!
