I write for my younger self
I'm trying to parent her because she's living inside of me
She didn't grow up right and she's in pain

I was thirteen when he started doing things to me
He's scary

She chose him over me
So I run away from home until my father's sister took me in

Court hearings
I was forced to relive things
He was imprisoned

She hated me for it
She said I ruined my family

And shit like meds and therapy
