Jarvis: My mother is pure Filipina, my father was an American soldier. Pero hindi ko siya nakilala.

Interviewer: Was it because he went back to the US?

Jarvis: My mother didn't really know his name. She was a rape victim.

Interviewer: Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. Your mother must be really strong to raise you on her own.

Jarvis: May sarili na siyang pamilya. Nagkikita parin kami but she doesn't refer to me as her son sa ibang tao. At least she gave me a name.

Interviewer: And her own family? Kilala ka ba nila?

Jarvis: Sila lang ata may kilala sa'kin. Mabait naman ang pamilya niya. I have a younger sister, she's ten years old. Hello, Ellie!
