I'M GONNA CHANGE FINN'S LIFE.

"Boo! Shame! Whore!"

Clementine could only laugh half-heartedly at Caroline, secretly very glad that she was on birth control to regulate her period. She just hoped it was effective, because no way was she going to have a baby at eighteen with a hybrid.

Much to her embarrassment, Elijah had taken her request for an afterparty quite serious, so when Enzo, Clem, and Klaus finally left the art room with their clothes back on, nearly everyone was gathered in the living room.

Everyone but Damon and Matt was there — even Stefan, who was uncomfortably sitting beside Kol, who was stretching his neck after it being broken.

It was safe to say there were a lot of jealous eyes on Clem, taking in her fucked-out state as well as the fresh bite mark on her neck. Something primal inside of the vampires that had feelings for her was going wild, wishing it was their own fangs that'd been buried in her neck.

Kol swore he'd be the next to try her blood under such stimulating circumstances if it killed him — he hadn't let himself properly enjoy the taste when he killed her.

"You slut, Clementine Donovan!" Caroline laughed as Clem came to sit next to her and Elena by the fireplace. "Tell us everything!"

"Well—"

"I need a drink," Kol muttered, going to grab a bottle of bourbon off the shelf.

"I second that," Rebekah said, not wanting to think about her brother having a threesome with her friend.

"How about we all have a round?" Finn asked, clearly bothered.

Little did they know, as Kol began serving drinks, that the bourbon was laced with the essence of Elena's blood, unknowingly linking all of the Mikaelsons together once they took their first sips.

"Oh, don't pout, Elijah," Klaus said with a smug smirk on his face.

"Well, you bedded my date, Niklaus. How am I supposed to feel?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Try being a less boring date," Enzo shrugged, making Kol snicker.

"So," Elena said, biting her lip as she looked at a flushed Clem. "How was, uh, it?"

Clem smiled softly at her, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. "It was nice," she admitted. Then she leaned in and kissed Elena's cheek. "Thank you for asking."

"Well, enough of this nastiness," Rebekah muttered before downing her whole glass of alcohol in one go. "Let us talk about the dastardly mother-sized elephant in the room."

"She's not here," Finn noted, a frown on his face. "I'm not sure where she slipped off to."

"She could be with Bonnie and her mother," Stefan spoke up. "Since Elena didn't help her tonight."

Caroline frowned at the carpet. "I wish Bonnie didn't have all those toxic ancestors whispering in her ear. They're totally manipulating her."

"And we'll be there for her when she realizes what's going on," Elena said, knowing she'd never abandon Bonnie no matter what.

"I, for one," Klaus said, "cannot wait to kill my mother again."

"And I'll get to help this time, brother," Kol said, a twisted smirk on his face.

"Look at you two, bonding over parental murder," Clementine said, smiling. "And Esther has no idea we know what she's up to. She's gonna be in for a shock."

"Just need to make sure she stays dead this time," Enzo muttered. "Can't have her taking a page out of your book, Angel."

"But don't kill her in a cool way that makes me feel embarrassed about all the ways I've died," she requested, grinning.

"You tripped and fell and died on your birthday," Caroline reminded her. "During arguably the funniest song to die to ever. No one dies quite like you do."

"What song?" Finn asked, tilting his head.

Clem grinned brightly, already getting excited to perform. "Someone get me a phone. I'm gonna change Finn's life."

Dressed in a pair of Rebekah's pajamas — who was already gone, sleeping with Damon at his house — Clementine crept toward the library, smiling when she saw the light on underneath the door. So, she quickly let herself in and shut the door behind her.

Finn was there, already browsing the shelves for something to read. But he immediately put all his attention on her, smiling slightly.

"What do you have there?" he asked, nodding to the book in her hand.

"Bekah's world history textbook," she smiled, going to sit on the couch. He soon joined her, their shoulders brushing. "I'm not the best student, but I've got a whole world to teach you about. I mean, there's Glee and boy bands and I guess, like, all the wars and stuff. But I think the Scream franchise is more life-altering than those."

"Well, I trust you to teach me the most important things," he said, just liking the sound of her voice. He could sit there all night listening to her talk.

"Then let's start with Glee."

After an hour of talking about the world with Finn, he noted that she was yawning far too much and suggested they go to bed.

"Good night, ástin," Finn said softly, leaving her at the library door.

"Night, Finn," Clementine said, pulling him close. She had to stand on her toes to reach his cheek, kissing him softly. She adored the way his cheeks heated up. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Thank you, again," he told her. "Though I do not think I will be watching this Glee with you."

She rolled her eyes playfully, making him smile. Then he bid her goodnight one more time before heading in the opposite direction as her toward his bedroom. Clem had a soft smile on her lips as she made her way back to Rebekah's room. Caroline and Elena were already asleep in the bed, opting to stay over since everyone wasn't exactly sober when the night ended. The only one missing was Bonnie, who was still spending time with her mother.

And on Clem's journey back, she came across Elijah, who seemed to have a habit of staying up late just like his oldest brother. Much to her surprise, he was dressed casually in a plain white t-shirt and a pair of dark sweatpants.

Clementine didn't even know he knew what sweatpants were.

"Hi, Lijah," she greeted, her voice barely above a whisper. She didn't want to risk waking anyone else up.

He came to a stop outside Rebekah's door and nodded to her. "Elskan."

Clem chewed on her bottom lip nervously for a moment. "I am sorry, you know."

"What on earth for?" he asked, tilting his head. Elijah didn't want Clementine to ever feel bad about anything. She was perfect in his eyes.

"Well," her cheeks flushed, "for going off with Nik and Enzo. It wasn't fair to you. I was meant to be with you all night."

Elijah smiled at her considerate apology before stepping close, backing her into the wall. He slid his hand on her waist, leaning down to brush his lips against her ear.

"Trust me, Elskan, when I have you all to myself, I'd prefer not to share," he said lowly. "So, I can find it in myself to forgive you."

Clementine swallowed thickly, glancing at his lips as he moved back. She couldn't help but lean closer, like he was a planet and she was being pulled in by his gravity.

"And, uh, when do you plan to have me all to yourself?" she asked pathetically.

Elijah smirked, pleased to know she wanted him just as desperately. He cupped her cheek, pulling her even closer, his eyes on her lips.

"Soon enough," he said simply. "But I'm a patient man."

"Well, I'm impatient," she said before moving in for a kiss.

But Elijah leaned back, a smirk on his face as she missed his lips by half an inch. She huffed as he leaned back in, brushing his nose against hers. When Clementine let out a pathetic whine, he gave in, claiming her lips in a soft kiss.

She slid her hands up his chest, melting against him as their mouths moved in sync. His firm body pressed up against hers, and she could feel his warmth through their thin clothes.

"Lijah," she murmured against his mouth as they parted for air. Clem leaned in to kiss him again. Then he parted and began kissing down her neck. She trembled as he licked over the sensitive bite mark.

When Elijah pulled back, his eyes were considerably darker, his mind riddled with lust. But he reigned in his desires, much to Clem's disappointment.

"I'll see you in the morning, Miss Donovan," he said, his voice gruffer than usual.

Her eyes were still glued to his lips. "Good night, Lijah."

Clem tried to be as silent as a mouse when she crept back into Rebekah's room, not wanting to wake the girls. But it had been pointless, it seemed. Because when she slid into bed, Elena stirred, her brown eyes fluttering open.

"Clemmy?" she murmured sleepily.

"Hey, Lena," she whispered, getting underneath the covers. "Go back to sleep. It's been a long day."

Elena yawned before snuggling closer to Clementine, who wrapped her arms around her waist. "Where were you?"

"Teaching Finn about One Direction."

She smiled a tired smile. "Make sure he's a Harry stan."

"No way. Niall all the way," she said, shaking her head. "Did you have fun tonight?"

"Yeah. Would've been better if I got to dance with you," Elena said, not embarrassed to admit as much. "You looked so pretty. Like my perfect princess."

"Well, if I'm a princess, you're a queen," Clem said, smiling softly. Then she pulled Elena's head out of her shoulder to kiss all over her face. It made Elena giggle, who tried to push her off. Only to end up on top of Clementine, who was grinning below her.

The two girls stared at each other in silence for a moment, Clem's lips hovering over Elena's. Something shifted in Elena's gaze, warmth blooming in her chest as she realized she was ready. Ready for whatever fate had in store for her and Clementine. And now that she was ready, it was all she wanted.

"Is this okay?" Clem asked softly, seeing how Elena was eying her lips.

"I think so," she said weakly. "If it's okay with you."

"Do not make out with me right next to you," Caroline groaned, rolling over in the bed and putting a pillow over her head. "I ship it hard, but shut the fuck up!"

Elena and Clem giggled, Elena just lying on top of Clem, who was all too happy to hug her tight.

"Good night, Clemmy."

"Night, Lena."

"The least you two could do after waking me up is wish me goodnight too," Caroline huffed.
