"Hey guys, have you noticed Em's been acting weird lately?" Mike asked the rest of the guys.

"Yeah", Davy agreed, "she's acting like she did around you before you guys dated, she keeps shying away from you."

"I know, she seems pretty freaked out about something." Micky added.

Peter, who had heard what was happening from Mattie, didn't say a word. 'Would she want me to say anything?' He contemplated-

"Peter you alright, man?" Mike asked noticing Peter deep in thought.

"Yeah I'm ah just worried about Em you know? It's not like her." He tried to save himself and not let them know he knew what was going on.

"I know, I've tried to talk to her about it but it seems like she's avoiding me every time I do. She gets random excuses out of nowhere and it's starting to worried me. Does she want to break up or something?" Mike had been worried about this for a long time. What if Em was done with him? What if she's just looking for an excuse to leave him? Did she ever love him in the first place? Peter, however, knew it was the opposite and couldn't take it anymore.

"Hey come on, Mike, it's nothing like that. She loves you she couldn't leave you! If anything she's scared you'll leave her!"

"What do you mean? Why would she be scared I'd leave her?" Mike asked his blond friend.

"I think you should here it from Em instead..." Peter said and motioned toward the girls.

"Just tell him what's the worst that could happen? He wouldn't leave you he loves you come on!" Mattie tried to convince Em to go over and tell Mike.

"I can't what if he does leave me? I wouldn't be able to handle it!" She worried.

Mattie was about to talk when instead a familiar Texas drawl asked "Wouldn't be able to handle what?"

Mattie mouth the words 'tell him' and walked over to the rest of the girls leaving Mike and Emily alone. Emily turned around to face Mike. "I said I wouldn't be able to handle it if you left me..." She said looking down.

"Why in the world would I leave you?" He asked moving closer to her.

Emily took a deep breath, this was it. "Because I ah- I found out I was pregnant..."

"You're pregnant!?"

All Emily could do at this point was nod, she was so choked up.

"Em, sure I wasn't planning on this and I know you weren't either, but I'm happy. We wanted to start a life like this someday... I guess we're just starting now." Mike smiled and brought Em into a kiss and Emily relaxed.

"So you aren't gonna leave me or anything?" Em asked.

"Of course I'm not gonna leave you! If anything it makes me love you more... I do have two people to love now." Mike smiled and put his hand on her stomach. "Well it'll be two people soon..."
