A/n: we also needed more Pattie (Peter/Mattie) so here's this chapter-

Mattie watched from the doorway as Peter played around with his guitar. She smiled as she saw him play a few notes, get excited, and then write something down on a piece of paper he had in front of him. She watched for a few moments before she knocked on the already opened door to Peters dressing room, "can I come in?" She asked.

"Of course." He said and moved his guitar and paper off to the side.

Mattie walked over and sat down next to Peter on the floor. He didn't have much furniture in his dressing room just instruments everywhere. He preferred sitting on the floor and Mattie didn't mind it much.

      "What are you working on?" She asked motioning to his guitar and paper.

     "Oh..um...I've been working on a new song for the album." He said and picked up the paper.

     "Could I hear it?" She asked.

     "Well it's not really finished yet and-"

     "Come on I love when you play songs for me." She begged and Peter sighed playfully and gave in.

     "Alright, but it's not the best yet." He said and picked up his guitar.

He started playing and sang:

When he was finished Mattie smiled. "That was beautiful!"

"You really liked it?" He asked.

"Of course I did! It was beautiful!" She said and Peter gave her one of his big adorable grins.

"I'm glad because I wrote it for you."

"You wrote that song for me!?" She asked surprised.

"Well yeah, I wanted to do something special for you."

"Aw Peter that's so sweet." She said and then Peter pulled her into a kiss.

"I'm glad you like it." He said and pushed the guitar off to the side so he could lay down. Mattie laid her head on his chest and listened to the steady sound of his heart beat.

Mattie closed her eyes and gave a content sigh. "I wish we could stay like this forever."

"So do I." Peter replied while wrapping his arms around her. Mattie snuggled into his chest and they both closed their eyes. They fell asleep soon after...

A/n: I know "Little Girl" is from their new album but it fit so well in here that I had to use it. I mean seriously picture young Peter singing this to Mattie it's perfect.
