First, let me emphasize that this book of shout-outs is utterly random.

Let me repeat louder for those at the back of the lecture hall: 

Utterly random. 

I do not have any formal criteria that I apply when I think about whether or not I want to shout a book out. 

This book listing is also not something anybody can apply for. 

It is not a formal award, although I offer stickers to anybody I decide to shout out formally. 

The shout-out book is not a review shop, although at some point I do plan on editing the book listings to include reviews.

Basically, if you have landed in here, you got my rapt attention somehow, and you got it on a day that I was in the mood to get on my tiny little pulpit and use my incredibly limited Wattpad influence to shout you out. 

That's it. 

The sticker comes with the shout-out, but displaying the sticker is not required. It's yours to use, or not use. I do ask that if you got a sticker, you not pass it on to anyone else. 

I will say this:

If you're in here, it's probably because you wrote something awesome and maybe something underrated. I do not intend to give shoutouts to books that have won Wattys or other major awards, books that have hundreds of thousands of reads, or books that you can only buy with Wattpad coins. 

This shout-out book is the work of a small author who is shouting out other small authors. Authors who make it big don't need me to shout them out. 

I should also mention that not every Wattpad book I love will wind up in here. This is not going to be a book log. If you don't see your book in here, but I've left positive feedback in the form of in-line comments, or a vote in a Reader's Choice contest of some kind, or a high score or nice review if it's a book I've judged, assume I love your book.
