"Welcome back to The Love Witch, angels! As always, I'm you're host, Caroline Devitt, and today I am joined by. . ." the Australian waved her hand to her left, "Logan Sargeant!" Caroline gave the camera an excited smile as the blond raised his hand in a quick wave, laughing at himself as he did. "And," she gestured to her right, "Aurora Albright!" Aurora gave a dimpled smile to the camera, waving happily.

"So!" Caroline began, picking up her prompt cards and readying the egg timer in the centre of the pink table. "How this works, for those who don't know, is I will set this timer to five minutes and ask these two stunners some questions to test compatibility, after that they will decide whether or not they thought the date was successful. Ready?" She looked to Logan and Aurora who both nodded.

Starting the timer, Caroline shuffled through her cards and chose where to begin. "Okay, first off, tell each other your top three pet peeves. Aurora, we'll start with you."

The brunette laughed nervously before she sat back in her chair and looked Logan in the eye. "I hate slow walkers with a burning passions, so if you're slow then it's not gonna work." Caroline hid a laugh behind her cards and Aurora wasn't sure why.

"Uhm, I hate guys who mansplain everything, especially because I'm doing a fashion degree, I've met so many guys who think I'm stupid and explain everything like I'm a toddler—Gah!" She held her hands in front of her in a strangling motion. "Peeves me off so bad." She laughed, smiling when Logan did too. "Last one, oh, I hate people who chew with their mouths open! You're not an animal, I don't need to see what happens your food once it leaves your plate."

Logan, as it turned out, was more similar to her that Aurora would have thought. He hated slow walkers, and people who talk down to others, and his biggest pet peeve was being rude to waitstaff.

"Thank you!" Aurora cheered when he finished. "I work at a restaurant and the amount of people who come in being so rude blows my mind. No offence, but a lot of them are American. I was worried you were gonna be one of them."

He winced and held his hand over his heart. "You wound me. And here I thought I looked like a decent guy."

"You don't look too bad, bit of a patriotic vibe, though. Half expecting you to have an American flag under the table."

Logan pretended to look beneath him in panic. "Why would I ever have that? That's, like, so crazy." He asked in faux-nerves. Aurora leaned closer as she laughed.

   Their host cleared her throat, looking at them both excitedly. "Next segment is polarising opinions! These are questions that are either Yes/No or would you rather to see how well suited you guys are."

   "Pickles. Yes or no?"

   "Yes." They said in unison. Aurora held her hand up for a high five that he gladly returned.

   "City break or lakeside getaway?"

   As Aurora said city break, Logan said lakeside. "Come on!" He groaned. "Think about it, relaxed cabin, campfires, fishing—"

   "Oh, of course you want to go fishing."

   "What's that supposed to mean?"

   "I bet your instagram profile picture is you holding a fish, and you made a post of the same picture bragging about how you 'finally caught the big girl!'" Aurora put on a heavy country accent at the end and fought back a laugh when Caroline giggled beside her and Logan scoffed indignantly.

   "God forbid a man likes to experience nature." He held up his hands defensively.

   "Big or little spoon?"

   "Little." Aurora said instantly. "Big." Logan said shortly after.

"I have been known to big spoon for some of my friends though." Aurora followed up. "So if you've ever had a really bad day, I can give a good cuddle." She winked.

"Go out or stay in?"

   "Stay in." Logan was quick to answer. Aurora hummed, brows furrowing as she sat in thought. "I dunno! Like, I love a good movie night, but sometimes you're just in the mood to go clubbing, y'know?"

   Logan nodded along. "You might have to show me where to go out here, maybe I'm just not going to the right places."

   "Or maybe you're not going with the right people."

   Caroline sent a wide-eyed look to the camera. She cleared her throat again, readying the next part of the show. "What is your biggest red flag?"

Aurora paused for a second, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth. "I can be a little bit pretentious sometimes and I don't mean it." She admitted nervously. "Like I make some of my own clothes and sometimes I talk too much about it, and I'm really passionate about music and a lot of the time if I'm talking about smaller artists, it's sounds like I have a Cool-Girl Complex or something."

   "I don't know much about music, so I'll let you give me some good recs. I'll be holding you to a high standard now, though." Logan smiled.

   "I'll get working on a list. What's your red flag, then?"

"I travel a lot with work so I have a habit of not being great at keeping in contact with people. . ."

"So you're a ghoster?" Aurora asked with wide eyes.

"Not intentionally!" He defended quickly. "I just sometimes forget that starting conversations is, like, a thing."

   Aurora looked at Caroline, jaw dropped in shock. "It's always the Americans." She shook her head. Caroline pulled a disappointment face, nodding in agreement with Aurora and softly glaring at Logan.

   "Why are y'all ganging up on me?!" Logan laughed in disbelief.

   "'Y'all'" Aurora quoted, using the country accent once more. She sighed to Caroline. "He's great, but he's too American."

   "Well, maybe you're too British." Logan shot back, playfully narrowing his eyes at her.

   "Excuse me?! Do you know what a kilometre is?"
 
   "Do you drink anything other that tea?"

   "I'll have you know that tea is a very versatile drink and is very soothing, so what I'm hearing right now is that you think I deserve to be eternally on edge, never to know peace."

   Logan laughed. "And I'll have you know that I do know what a kilometre is. It's the equivalent of 567.571 Taylor Swifts."

Aurora paused for a moment, looking him up and down contemplatively before giving him a smile. "For that unit of measurement, you're back in my good books."

   Caroline looked between her two guests with a smile before turning to the camera and clasping her hands together. "Five minutes are up! Now it's time for you two," she gestured to Logan and Aurora, "to take the whiteboards in front of you and write 'Yes' or 'No' depending on if you think this was a successful date."

   Aurora bit the inside of her cheek to hide her grin, giving Logan a quick look over the top of her whiteboard, holding it close to her chest. A countdown sound effect started in the video and Caroline drummed her fingers against the table in anticipation.

   "Five. . . four. . . three. . . two. . . one! Flip your boards!" She cheered, beaming as Aurora and Logan revealed their answers. The camera focused on two big Yeses—Logan's was underlined twice and Aurora's was followed by three exclamation marks.

   Caroline raised her hands in the air and cheered in celebration. Aurora looked at Logan and laughed at the slight confusion on his face. Before she could ask him about it, however, Caroline had begun the outro. "There you have it, ladies and gents, The Love Witch's magic prevails again! Thank you so much for watching, and I'll be seeing you in the next episode." She winked to the camera with a soft grin before leaning over to turn it off.
