<Gimhae?>
•••••
"DANI~" Seongwoo exclaimed, running over with his comically large rucksack rattling behind him.
"ONGIE~" Daniel replied, and when the two met they swiftly embraced each other like long lost lovers. They released from their hug, then proceeded to do some long-winded handshake that involved some strange sounds, causing people to stare.
Did they care? Of course they didn't. It's Ongniel for crying out loud, and Ongniel is science ˚⁎⁺˳✧༚
Well, Seongwoo didn't care; Daniel just didn't notice...
"How've you been bro?" Seongwoo asked his friend.
"It's been so lonely without a friend around!" Daniel exhaled. "I'm just glad you're here man. How was the flight?" Daniel's question was answered with Seongwoo giving the boy an exaggerated thumbs up, followed by some strange noise.
Suddenly, Daniel's phone signalled that he just received a message.
"Who's it off?" Seongwoo asked.
"Oh Hyung!" He exclaimed. "That reminds me! We've got a lot to catch up on, why don't we sit down and get a coffee or something.
"Coffee?" He scoffed. "That's not like you. Where's the nearest bar-"
"Hyung." Daniel sighed. "I'm driving, remember?"
"Oh yeah," He replied. "Coffee it is then."
The pair made their way to the nearest cafe within the airport, ordering their drinks and sitting down at a table for two.
"So, fill me in." Seongwoo suggested. "What've I missed?"
"Do you remember Choi Dahye?" Daniel asked him, and Seongwoo's eyebrows raised suspiciously.
"I do.. why?"
"Because I've been talking to her best friend without realising until about a couple minutes ago." Daniel blurted out.
"Wait.. what?"
"Dahye has a friend - Hana - didn't she?" Daniel mentioned, trying to jog the other's memory.
"Can I see a picture?" Seongwoo asked. "I remember Dahye, just not this Hana girl..."
Daniel proceeded to get Hana's SNS Profile up, as that was the only photo he had of her.
"OH YEAH!" Seongwoo exclaimed. "I remember her now! Very quiet, didn't say much- or, anything at all really."
"Well," Daniel continued. "We met on this SNS app and we've been talking for a few days and-"
"Talking like... talking?" Seongwoo wiggled his eyebrows on the last word. "It's always the quiet ones that are the be-"
"HYUNG!" Daniel exclaimed, ears blushing red. "We're just friends! For fuck sake we're not even talking like.. that."
"Woah.." he chuckled. "Okay then dude." Daniel then cleared his throat, composing himself.
"So, I was wondering if you were still in good terms with Dahye or.." the younger trailed off.
"Well, we haven't spoken in YEARS, but while we were together we had mutual feelings for each other, and that's also what happened when we left each other. So, I guess so." Seongwoo explained.
"Did you two actually go out with each other.. or were you just.."
"Friends with Benefits?" The older finished Daniel's sentence. "Yeah, we were, but don't go round telling people that because she'll get called a slut or whatever for it, and that's not really fair."
"Kay bro." Daniel replied. "Secret's safe with me."
"So why are you so interested in mine and Dahye's current affairs?" Seongwoo took a sip of his coffee and leant in closer.
"Because me and Hana were considering meeting up, and we wondered whether it would be good to go out as a 4?"
"I'm down." Seongwoo smiled, leaning back in his chair. "It gives us something to do whilst we wait for the others to get to Busan."
"True." Daniel smiled.
"So, you say you and Hana are just friends? Do you think you'll ever be more?" Seongwoo asked.
Daniel stared down at his nearly empty cup, swilling the liquid round before drinking the rest down whole.
"Well, I don't know." The boy sighed. "There's just something about her that makes me feel that I shouldn't treat like just some other girl. Like she shouldn't just be 'another girlfriend' on Kang Daniel's list.... you know?"
"Ahh!" Seongwoo smiled cheekily. "Is little Euigeon getting rid of his garishly flirty and obnoxious behaviour? Is this the turning over of a new leaf?"
"Tch, come on Ong, you're still going on about that?" Daniel scoffed.
"Oh yes I am." Seongwoo teased. "Back in the day you and I were the unstoppable Ongniel, attracting the girls left right and centre."
Daniel scoffed again, chuckling slightly at the memory of his previous flirty behaviour.
"But then I had to move back to Busan." Daniel sighed.
"Yeah, well, that couldn't be helped." Seongwoo sighed, proceeding to finish his drink. "All that matters now is that we're back together after a long time."
"Yeah," Daniel sighed. "Shall we go?"
"Are you ready to start your Busan adventure with me Daniel~?" Seongwoo cooed.
"Wait, what?"
"HANA...."
"Wait no-"
"DUL..."
"Hyung don-"
"SET!"
And with that Seongwoo clapped the slate, officially starting his Busan adventure.
"You're such an embarrassment." Daniel whispered, looking round at everyone staring the pair down.
They both then walked towards the door, Seongwoo's rucksack bouncing on his back as his walking was a little exaggerated and looked a bit more like jumping.
"Thank you for flying to Gimhae." An air hostess smiled at the pair. "I hope you enjoy your time here."
"Wait," Seongwoo stopped and looked at the girl. "Are you sure this is Gimhae?"
"Yes it is." The woman smiled.
"Because i thought it was called Gim-Hey baby~" The elder sent a wink towards the lady, But was subsequently slapped across the back of the head by Daniel.
"I apologise oh his behalf." Daniel quickly mentioned to the confused and flustered lady, bowing and pushing the flirtatious man out of the airport.
"My motorbike is this way." Daniel huffed. "You're lucky I'm not gonna just drive off and leave your lame ass here."
