<Annoying Kid>

•••••

Hana answered the incoming call from the little dongseng; she was in a little bit of a mood since whatever that was before was actually pretty funny.

"Hello?" She answered.
"Noona," Jihoon panted. "I need your help. Can you meet me in the park?"
"Like, right now?" She asked. "Jihoon it's like half ten at night don't you have school?"
"Yeah but it's really important." He whined. "Noona pleeeease~"
"Okay, fine, aish!" Hana replied, rolling out of bed. "But I'm in my pyjamas and need to get changed so I may be a while."

"Thanks Noona." Jihoon replied, an obvious smile on his face as it was so clear through the phone. "I'll make sure to keep that sav-" She cut him off.
"I swear to god if you say jeojang I'll go to sleep right now." Hana threatened, hearing a nervous giggle on the other end of the phone.
"See you in a bit Noona." And with that he ended the call.

She had to throw myself out of her comfy bed and get dressed - again - but wrapped herself up in layers as it was gonna be cold. Mostly black, obviously.

"Dahye?" Hana yelled. She was in the living room watching a show, and turned round to face me once Hana walked in calling her name. "I'm going out for a bit."
"At this time?" She questioned.
"Jihoon wants to meet." She replied bluntly.
"That little brat," Dahye cursed. "I don't even know why you're friends with him Hana. He's just spoilt and never thinks he's wrong."

"I know." She sighed. "But it sounded important, and he always comes to me for advice."
"Just go." She sighed. "Stay safe."
"Will do!" Hana sighed, taking her keys and opening the door and proceeding to lock it behind her.

It was about a 2 minute walk to the park from her house. Jihoon lives in the area too so he should already be there by now.

As Hana thought, when she got to the park she saw a guy dressed in school uniform and walked over.
"Jihoon-ah." She called, but not too loud as some people were sleeping.
"Oh, Noona!" He exclaimed. "Thank you for coming!"
"What's wrong?" Hana asked him.

"Well, you see." He began. "I was at a girl's house and-"
"You mean to tell me that you, a high school student, was at a girl's house at this time of night!?" The girl exclaimed, then Jihoon's eyes widened.
"N-Noona, hear me out." He pleaded.

"We both went there after school today because we have a project to do together. We did a little bit of art and then she kept telling me that she liked hanging out with me and was getting kinda clingy, but I just ignored it." He explained, causing Hana to cringe. "This was at like nine o'clock, bear in mind. She'd eaten her dinner with her family but I couldn't have any because 'boys aren't allowed in her house' so I had to wait in her room."

Hana stared at the boy with her eyebrow raised. She knew exactly what he's like and felt as if she knew where this story is going, and how it's gonna get twisted by him.

"And then about half an hour ago she kissed me. Obviously I kissed back but then it starting getting all... you know. We were sat on her bed and stuff and um-" He stuttered.
"I swear to god Park Jihoon if you tell me that you had-"
"NO!" He yelled. "No of course not! Noona I would never!!" He then sighed.

"Her mum called her, and so she stopped then suddenly had a go at me for staying in her house so late, and then made me climb out her window!!" He scoffed. "I was kept locked in her room and then forced to climb out the window Noona!"

Hana nodded, taking in his words.

"Okay, I know what happened now." She sighed. "You had a project with this girl, and then used your 'charms' to convince her to let you come over. She said yes, but her parents don't like boys like you, so she had to keep you a secret. After a while you got bored and tried to get on her, and she reciprocated until she realised how stupid she was being letting you in her house, so told you to leave."

"Noona...." Jihoon sulked.
"Am I wrong?"
"....not really..." He sighed.
"There we go then." She folded her arms. "Jihoon-ah, you cant keep doing this to girls, it's awful." She scolded him.
"But she wanted to as well!" He huffed.
"Sure, okay, I definitely believe you." Hana replied, both her eyebrows still raised.

"Now you need to go home and get to bed; you have school." She ordered.
"I can't go back now!" He exclaimed. "I told my parents I was sleeping over at Woojin's for some last minute revision for our chemistry test tomorrow."
"So you have a test you haven't revised for as well!?" She asked him in disbelief, staring sternly into his eyes as his gaze faltered.

"So where are you gonna go?" Hana asked.
"Well, Noona, the thing is..." he was taller than Hana, so stared down at her pleadingly.
"You've gotta be joking." She scoffed. "Can't you stay with Woojin?"
"He's not answering." Jihoon sighed. "Noona I'm so sorry but it's late and I have nowhere to go and-"
"Dahye's gonna hate this..." Hana exhaled, whispering under her breath. Jihoon, however, heard what she said and his face immediately lit up with joy.

"Oh Noona thank you so much!" He smiled, hugging her tightly. All Hana could do was sigh; this kid seriously is hopeless.
"But you're doing some revision and I'm getting you up early tomorrow." Hana told him. "Me and Dahye have lectures to go to, and I'm not having you flunk school."
"Understood!" He replied, a wide smile still on his face.

I bet you're all thinking that he just uses her, but now he owes Hana a favour that she can cash in at any point. And no matter how annoying the kid may be, Hana used to babysit him when they were younger and they were good friends then, and are still friends now. They promised to look out for each other when they were older and that's what she's doing for him now.

'He still needs to get a grip though, he's in his last year of high school and he's pulling shit like this?' Hana thought, sighing under her breath.

They were walking back to the house, when there was a sudden ding coming from Hana's phone. She checked who it was, almost not recognising it for a moment.
"Who's Daniel?" Jihoon asked.
"Oh, no one." She mumbled.
"Noona~ don't tell me you've been talking to someone behind my back~" he whined teasingly, resting his arm on her shoulders.

"Yah!" Hana yelled, whacking his hand away. "We're not 'talking' like that you pabo. We're here." Hana replied, pulling her keys out of her pocket. "You can sleep on the couch."

Upon unlocking the door, they saw that Dahye was still sat on the couch watching TV.
"So what did that brat want?" Dahye asked, not moving her eyes from the TV.
"That brat is staying in your house tonight." Jihoon replied sassily, and Dahye turned around in shock as the young boy took off his coat and shoes.

"Hana please tell me you didn't-"
"I'm sorry Dahye." Hana sighed. "But it was a dire situation and Jihoon had nowhere to go, so now he owes me a big favour."
"Well im not giving up the sofa yet!" She retorted. "Stranger Things isn't gonna watch itself."
"That's fine." She replied. "He's got chemistry revision to do."

At this Dahye turned to face the two of them again, a mocking smirk on her face.
"Well, Jihoon, you have fun revising."
"And you have fun wasting your life away in front of a TV." He retorted, hands in his jeans pockets.
"Yah!" Hana whisper-yelled, hitting Jihoon lightly on the chest. "Behave, and do some revision in the kitchen."

She left the others be, and retreated back to her bedroom. When she got there she got changed back into her pyjamas and slid in between the covers, pulling out her phone.

"Let's see if that dork is still awake."
