I forgot to mention, Emily doesn't exist and Leah never dated with Sam!!!!!

I got up early and got ready quickly. After I got dressed I went down to the dining room where Dad was having his morning coffee.

"Dad, I have a date today..."

"...Who?"

"Sam. Sam Uley from the Rez. He's picking me up for lunch and would like to say hello."

He frowned but nodded.

His frown became deeper when we heard a car pulling up the driveway. I opened the front door and came back with Sam.

Dad made me go back to my room while 'men' had 'a talk'.

Thankfully, the talk ended quickly and for some reason Dad seemed pleased.

"...Dad?"

"Bring her back before 10."

"?!?!?!?!" (Elinya)

"Yes, Charlie" (Sam)

Woah.... Did Sam just call Dad Charlie??

Confused, I just walked beside Sam as he tucked me under his arm. He saw my concerned face and smiled.

"Don't worry. He likes me."

I relaxed and leaned back as Sam drove to a meadow in the Rez.

We had a small picnic and loads of fun. After we sat down on the grass to catch our breaths, Sam suddenly became serious.

"Linya, did Billy tell you about our tribal legends?"

"Yes, I loved listening to those legends."

He took a deep breath.

"Those aren't legends. They're real."

I blinked.

"Does it mean... that the wolves, and the cold ones do exist? Wait, wait. Are you...?"

"I am. I'm a wolf. A shapeshifter, to be exact."

Sam carefully took my hand and squeezed them tight.

"Linya, please. Say something."

I slowly lifted my eyes to meet his.

"...Then what am I to you?"

"Wolves have this thing called imprints. When you imprint on someone, it's like gravity moves. The imprint is what holds you down. Nothing else is more important."

"...!!!"

"You are my imprint, Elinya Alexanne Swan. You are the reason I live."

I was touched. His words made me feel that I was important. That someone would actually care about me more than anything in the whole world.

"Sam,"

"???"

"Can you show me your wolf form?"

He blinked, confused, but went into the forest. A moment later, a gigantic black wolf came out. It lay down on its stomach, whining a little. I slowly reached out and patted his snout.

The soft fur made me smile. He sneezed as I kissed his black nose which made me laugh out loud.

He changed back to human form and hugged me tight.

"Will you accept the bond and be my girlfriend?"

"Of course I will, Sam. Yes!"

After a while, we went to Sam's house and was greeted with claps, whistles, and howls.

"It took only a day for Sam to tell you the whole truth!"

"It took Jared ages!!!"

"Shut up Paul! You don't know how scary it is!"

"It's true, anyway! That's the class of Alpha, man!!"

I blushed, and Sam just laughed and kissed my forehead. The boys had ordered pizza for celebration and we had fun laughing and goofing around. 

Sam took me back home before 10 like he promised Dad.

Just before I was about to go in, he pulled me close to him and kissed me ardently. 

"I love you, Linya."

"I love you too."

After a final peck on his lips, we finally parted. Sadly, Dad saw everything and gave me an earful... but I didn't care. I was too happy from the kiss.
