After the Cullens left, Bella was a mess. She never did anything except staring out the window of her room. She ate and drank a tiny bit, didn't really wash that often, never went out to meet her friends like Jessica and Angela. According to Dad, she also had nightmares and woke up in the middle of the night screaming.

Dad tried his best to take care of her by himself but it became too much for him as time went by. He asked me for help and I packed my duffel bag and moved back to Dad's. 

I practically forced Bella into the showers, then pleaded, shouted, and begged her to eat some food I cooked. At night I tried to calm her down when she screamed. 

We all thought it was just a phase that she would go through and she would pull herself together after a while, but we were wrong.

Months passed, and there was still no sign of recovering. I became a bit cranky and sensitive to everything due to excessive stress and lack of sleep. 

"I'm sorry that I have to make you go through this alone Dad, but I can't take it anymore."

"You did more than enough, Eli. Go and make sure you have some decent amount of sleep."

I came back to my home in La Push. Sam rushed towards me and wrapped me up in a tight hug as I stumbled in.

"Welcome back."

"...Thanks."

I headed straight up to bed and immediately fell asleep. I woke up next day, sleeping the whole day without even waking up once. After that I had to cook for hours for the boys and myself, but it wasn't as tiring as taking care of Bella. 

"We missed this." (Jared)

"The muffins, cookies, pies... the food, drinks... the food..." (Embry)

"...You didn't miss me did you?" 

"We did! It's just that we missed your food a tiny bit more!"

I burst out laughing, enjoying the liveliness. I guess I missed them as well.

I watched x-men dvd a while ago and it made me bubble with ideas... would you read it if I wrote a harry potter and x-men crossover??
