A/N: Chapter dedicated to @NatalyViveros
****Lyra's P.O.V.****
Dream:
I was walking through a forest, alone. I was running from something, but I couldn't risk looking back. There was a light in front of me, and I was heading towards it.
Even though I could feel the fear in the pit of my stomach, and wheeze through my burning lungs, I wasn't controlling my movements. I looked down for a split second, and saw my self in what looked like a one-size-too-small business suit. I caught a flash of myself in the window, and I looked like Dad!
"Molly! Molly, say it now! I'm almost there! I'll-" He- I? Was cut off with a flash of pain. Then everything went dark. . .
I woke up, covered in sweat. I wormed my way out from between Sarah and Hermione, and ran to Dumbledore's office, clad in pyjamas and a messy bun.
"Jelly slugs? Pumpkin Pasties? Chocolate Frogs?" I asked the gargoyle. I'm guessing the latter was correct, as the gargoyle opened soon after.
"Miss Archer? What are you doing here?" Professor Dumbledore asked.
"It's Black, sir, and I had a nightmare, and I'm pretty sure it was more than a nightmare, and I need to check on Dad, and I don't know if he's alive, but he's near the Burrow, and-"
He nodded gravely. "I'll check in." He apparated away with a faint *pop!*, and I started pacing.
Moments later, the headmaster returned. "Phineas, please contact Sirius Black. Tell him that Arthur has been attacked," He turned towards another portrait, "Violet, please alert Elizabeth that six of her students are needed in my office,"
"Elizabeth, sir?" I questioned.
"The lady at the entrance of the Gryffindor common room," I only nodded in response.
"Headmaster! Headmaster, I think Mr. Weasley's been attacked!" Harry came running into the office
"Harry, when did you find that out," my voice was shaky.
"Er. . . like ten minutes ago; I was waking the Weasleys and Sarah,"
"Harry, I did too. That's why I'm here, I had a nightmare. . . who were you? In the nightmare, I mean?" I asked
"I. . . er. . . was. . . I was the monster. I didn't know what I was, and I couldn't control it, I didn't want to hurt him. I'm so sorry, Lyra," he was almost to the point of tears as he plopped down on the couch.
"I know, Harry. Trust me, I feel at fault, too. I was Dad, and I feel like if I had just run all little bit faster, he'd be okay," I sat down next to him, a tear escaping from my eye.
I saw Fred, George, and Ron walk in with tired, anger-filled faces, then Sarah and Ginny, who looked terrified. Then Percy came in, rambling on about how this was all Harry and I's fault.
"Ginerva, you can't deny that if Mother had just stayed away from Lyra, this never would've happened. Harry was attacked at a young age, which he had no control over. Lyra, you could've just stayed away. Don't you agree, Ginerva?"
Tears were now pouring down my face. "Well, Percy, I'm incredibly sorry for being a part of a family. Maybe you're to thick headed to realize it, but you're lucky we saw this. Dad would've been hurt anyway, we just saw it. We can save him, Percy. But yeah, if you can't process that through your thick head, I'm sorry that I ever called you my brother. J-just stay a-away from me!" I ran from the office, crying.
I ran to the Black Lake (I mean, who cares if it's midnight), and created a water bubble. I floated it over my head and jumped into the lake, able to breathe. I swam around for a while, and, soon, I came to a clearing.
There were merepeople arranging vines and various grasses around the space.
"Why?" I didn't know of they could understand, or even hear me, for that matter, but it was worth a shot.
"Setting up for next year. Why are you here, halfling?" A violet-haired mermaid asked me.
"I'm Lyra. Setting up for what?"
"I'm Violet, and we're setting up for the Triwizard Tournament next year," she snickered quietly, "just don't tell anyone I told you."
"Sure thing. What exactly is the tournament?" I asked
"Well, halfling, there's three wizards or witches who compete in different tasks. The wizards and/or witches who compete come from either Hogwarts, Durmstrang, or Beauxbatons. So ya."
"And why, exactly, am I halfling?" I raised an eyebrow. Well, as much of and eyebrow I could, considering my head was in a water bubble and I have no talent whatsoever.
"Well, you're half witch. And you have some ancient blood in you. And you're a pureblood. What are you?" She seems blunt.
"Well, I'm a Black. As in, Noble House of. Er. . . my cousin and I are the first and second female Thanh Phân, if that counts for anything?"
"EMERALD! SAPPHIRE! C'MERE! SHE'S HERE! SHE'S HERE!" Violet screamed.
A mermaid with sapphire eyes and a merman with emerald eyes, the exact shade as Harry's swam over.
"Yeah?" 'Emerald' asked
"Don't. Call. Me. Sapphire." The other said
"That's your mere-name. What do you want to be called?" Violet rolled her eyes
"Naomi Morgans. That's my name, isn't it?"
I almost choked on my air bubble, "N-Naomi Morgans? Your name is Naomi Morgans?!"
"Er. . . yeah, why? Do you know Regulas? OH. MY. MERLIN, do you know Lyra? My daughter, Lyra?"
"Er. . . hello, Mum," I smiled nervously at her.
Before she had the chance to respond, I saw Harry and Sarah swimming down with Sarah's air bubbles.
"HARRY! SARAH! Why are you here?! ARE YOU STUPID?!" I screamed.
"Oh! Oh! Harry! Are you and Lyra dating yet?" My. . . mum asked.
"N-no, Mum, i- it's not like that," I blushed bright red.
"Not yet- wait, Mum? This is your mum? I. . . er. . . thought you were dead?" Sarah butted in.
"You didn't know? Em, do it," she swam away, looking sad.
"Obliviate!" A jet of purple water came towards us, and everything went black.

"Wait, so, someone erased our memory? We were out for a day? And we turned up by the Black Lake, soaked? No one knows what happened? And what happened to Mr. Weasley? Is Lyra okay?" I hear a familiar voice, laced with sadness and anxiety.
"Yes, that is what we believe happened. Mr. Weasley is currently in St. Mungo's receiving treatment, he will be alright, and Miss Black should be awake anytime now." Dumbledore said.
I sat straight up, frantic. "Is Sarah okay? Oh my Merlin, this is all my fault!"
"Nice to know you care, sis." Sarah smiled cheekily on a hospital bed near mine.
"Thank Merlin. Are we free to go, Madam?" I asked the nurse.
"I guess. You children are in here to often for my liking." She offered a small smile.
"Sorry, I guess being friends with Harry, we take that risk," Sarah joked. I could see his face fall from the corner of my eye.
I brushed it off, and stood up to leave, following Sarah, Harry behind me.
"Er. . . Ly? Can I talk to you for a moment?" He grabbed my arm gently.
"Sure, Harry. What's wrong?"
"I just. . . don't want you in danger. . ." he looked at his feet.
"Harry, is this about what Sarah said? Look, I-"
"No, Lyra, it isn't, but what she said was true. I'm putting all of you in danger just by being near you. Ly, I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt because of me."
"Harry, listen to me. I found out what you meant to the wizarding world a year ago, yet I stuck by you. You know why? Because they, out there, see you as a shield, a single person as an army to defend them. Me, here, right in front of you, Harry, I see you as a person. My best friend, who I wouldn't change for the world. To them, you're their protection, and if you aren't perfect, they leave you. To me, you're my best friend, who, no matter how many mistakes you make, will always be perfect. You can avoid me, but isolation is exactly what Voldemort wants." I smile softly at him, tears brimming my eyes.
"You know, Ly, you have this amazing power. Besides the whole Spotter thing, I mean. You can make anyone see the bright side in something. You could turn Voldemort good, and light up the entire world with just your eyes, save someone's life with your smile. And you're right. I mean, honestly, I don't think I could avoid you. No matter how bad Voldemort wants me to. Thank you Ly, we, all of us will get through this. Together."
"Together."
Slowly, he began leaning in. I smiled to myself.
"Sniff them out, my pretty. They'll be lurking around here somewhere."I heard Flich's voice ring out, and I shared a look of terror with Harry.
While Filch the Moment-Ruiner had his back turned, I grabbed Harry's wrist, and used my Shadow to hide us. We sneakily walked back to the Gryffindor common room, and I began walking up the stairs to the girls' dormitories.

"Er. . . Ly?"
"Yeah Harry?" She replied in that beautiful voice
"Uh. . . nothing. Thanks." Good job, smart one, chicken out.
"No problem, Harry. Goodnight!" She gave me a small kiss on my cheek, and I blushed beet red. I (very subtly) walked up the stairs, trying not to wake Ron.
"Ey, 'Arry, why you so red?" Ron said groggily.
"Oh, er. . . no reason?" It came out as more of a question.
"Whatever, have fun with Lyra?"
"How did you know I was with Ly?"
"Your face is red."
"Whatever Ron. Go back to dreaming about 'Mione." I smirked
"Mkay. . . wait!"
"Night, Ronald!"I took off my glasses and rolled over, too lazy to change.

I woke up, stretching out like a cat. Remembering the night before, I blushed, but got up anyways. After getting dressed, I walked down to the common room to get ready for lessons.
I was interrupted by a small girl with dark brown hair. "Hello, are you Lyra Black?," I nodded, "good, well, Dumbledore old me to find you. I'm new here."
"Cool, what's your name?" I smiled back at her.
"I am Nataly Morgans."
