you know, maybe taehyung wasn't totally alone. maybe that bunny had some control of his thoughts too, but then again he had no radio interrupting them. if he slipped up, he wouldn't have the ability to think anymore. who's fault would that be? taehyung did not want to ruin this boy's only chance at a painless life.
the amount of loud noises in his ears drove him mad. why would he ever, ever wish that for someone else? people around here think snowflakes are heartless, no good creatures, with no sense of reality. but maybe, just maybe they are the ones who posses the power to alter reality. maybe they can open up new worlds and find the desired "equality" everyone is searching for. nothing is equal, taehyung knows that. he knows not every child gets weights thrown across their shoulders, and maybe that's because they were bred into this society. maybe that's because their parents warned them of this and prayed that this would never, ever happen to their children. taehyung's parents were just too immersed in the false reality, that they couldn't seem to care, at all.
taehyung walked into his house, eyes filled with unshed tears and his hair a wild mess because of the lingering wind. he screamed. he fell to the ground, weights thudding against the white tile, hands pressed against the cold surface. tears pooled underneath his sunken eyes and, down to the floor they fell. tears flowed like rivers off his cheeks and onto to tile, and he hoped; he hoped his father slipped on them later.
only then would he feel joy.

"jeongguk, how-"
"fine."
his mother sighed. she felt the negative energy from her disobedient son. it had been happening a lot recently and it scared her. its like he was figuring out the truth and discovering it. she too, had control over her thoughts, sometimes. she just did not want her son to fall victim to the handicaps. she didn't want him to be a snowflake, but that's all he was reaching toward at this point. nobody can stop the future, what happens happens, and jeongguk's mother understood that.
"i'll get started on the chores."
"no, no you will not jeongguk. i have not even asked you to do them yet! what has gotten into you? why can't you just keep your mouth shut and let your curiosity stop getting the best of you? you are going to be killed from the way you are acting, and i can't lose you!" this was a first in a while that jeongguk had seen his mother cry, or break for that matter. not a lot of people broke in the society he lived in. its normal to be as tough as steel and as cold as ice. its normal. its viewed as the only skill you are allowed to have. so, when his mother's knees buckled and her shaking, sobbing body fell to the ground. he knew something had to change. something had to be done. this was not right, this, this was not how it should be. he knew that now, and he only knew of one snowflake who could lend a helping hand.

when school started, and when the persistent bunny caught a glimpse of a disoriented-looking wolf, he quickly tapped his shoulder, and the wolf turned around, and his eyes grew with disinterest.
"what?" he snapped irritably.
"i need your help with something."
and boy was that wolf shocked to here those words.
