Three moons later...

Darkkit woke up, twitching her ears and sniffed the air. She poked her sister to wake up her.
"Wake up Otterkit! Let's go and play!" Darkkit said. Otterkit opened her eyes. Nightwing walked up to her kits, hugging them.
"Today you may go outside of the nursery." Nightwing smiled. Darkkit's eyes went big. She leaped at the entrance, waiting for her sister.
"Come Otterkit! Let's go explore the camp!" She said happily. Otterkit stood up and followed her sister.

Darkkit popped her head outside. Otterkit stepped outside.
"Come outside instead of looking it from the nursery." Otterkit said. Darkkit stepped outside and stared around her.
"The camp is huge!" Darkkit squealed.
"Of course it is!" A voice came. Otterkit and Darkkit looked up. It was Whitefur.
"Hey Whitefur!" Otterkit said smiling. Darkkit looked at  the reddish orange fur Tom.
"He's Flameheart." Whitefur said.
"The mentor of Waterpaw."
Darkkit and Otterkit looked at each other.
"When will we be apprentices?" Darkkit asked curiously.
"When you are six moons old." Whitefur answered.
"Wolfkit will also be an apprentice when she is six moons old to." She said.
Otterkit and Darkkit looked at each other.
"We will be apprentices in three moons!" Otterkit squealed.
"I can't wait!" Darkkit said excited.
"Why won't you two go and help other cats so you can get used to apprentice work." Whitefur suggested.
"How?" The both kits asked.
"Like go get some herbs for Lark or help the elders or something." Whitefur said.
"I don't want to go outside of the camp so I will go and help the elders." Otterkit said.
"I am going outside of the camp so I can get used to it! I"m gonna go help Lark to get some herbs." Darkkit said and took of towards the medicine cat den. Otterkit went towards the elders den.
"Sure do hope they will be careful." Whitefur giggled and walked away.
