Barry sobbed brokenly into his hands. Iris was gone.

HR was alive.

But Iris was dead.

"It's okay, Barry."

Barry shook his head.

"No, it's not, Caitlin! I couldn't save her! Now, I'm gonna be that broken man I met! And I can't do anything about it!"

Caitlin sighed.

"When Ronnie died, it felt like my world was ending. Like I was collapsing. Like it was my fault. But what I came to realize was that it wasn't my fault. I didn't make him do what he did."

She hugged him, and Barry melted into her touch.

"I'll miss her so much," he muttered against her shoulder.

Caitlin nodded.

"We'll all miss her, Barry. You won't be the only one going through it."

"Thanks, Caitlin," Barry said when he pulled away.

Caitlin smiled sweetly and nodded.

"Of course, Barry. I'll always be here for you."

Sadly for her, Barry never did get the double meaning.
