beta version lgo chap 1
Dream stood up and took a few steps towards Tommy, who promptly backed up the same amount to the other wall, " I revived you."
Tommy felt many jumbled emoitions in that moment. He was confused, frightened, angry, and strangely calm. His heart wouldn't stop beating, his head hurting, and adrenaline in his veins was making him shaky.
"What do you mean revived?" Tommy asked aprehensively. If it was true that Dream could in fact revive people then the entire server was in danger.
"Like I said," Dream replied, still advancing on the boy, that demented smile still on his face, "I revived you. I brought you back to life."
"You're bluffing" Tommy said quickly trying to quell the rush in already high adrenaline and fear.
"I'm not," Dream said, tilting his head, "you are here aren't you?" He said this as if it was proof he was serious. He took two more steps towards Tommy, now standing past comfort distance.
Tommy's mind had yet to gain the ability to think straight. He pushed Dream away and slipped around him to the other side of the room. He sat down and curled into a ball. He didn't want to be exposed, it made him too uncomfortable.
After his mind calmed down a bit, the question was burning clear in his mind. "Why do you do this?" He asked the green man in a sort of broken meek voice.
"Because its fun!" Was Dream's immediate reply, "watching all of you grow so attached to things and be willing to do anything to get them back is so amusing."
Tommy, still unsatisfied with this unhinged answer, pressed on with rising anger, "Why did you do it!"
"Because I could, that's why" Dream said, spinning in a small circle, illuminated by the lavafall to his side.
Apon hearing this, Tommy snapped whatever fragile link he had in his head and his thoughts spinned.
Listening to him made him want to throw up. The pain in his head was pounding relentlessly. This man had no morals. At this point, he shouldn't be considered human.
"You're sick, you know that?" Tommy said as a feeling completely unmatched to what he had felt before started burning viciously inside. Dream just stood there with a satisfactory smirk on his face, his body glowing from the lava wall behind him, clearly amused at Tommy's reaction.
Tommy couldn't stand it. Who knows what pushed him to the limit; maybe it was the severe feeling of betrayal, maybe it was the trama of his exile, or maybe it was the pure unbridled rage inside him, but regardless of the reason, Tommy had discarded any sense of self preservation.
"You know Dream, there is only one thing we have in common," Tommy said as he started walking toward Dream with levels of bloodlust that could only be matched by a god, "Neither of us will be missed." He then tackled Dream, pushing both of them into the lava wall. Both of them screamed, the hot lava scorching pale skin and leaving irreparable burns, but Tommy didn't care. For the few moments he felt it, he ravished in the feeling. He didn't care if he died as long as he took Dream with him. That was all that mattered.
