Brock watched from the comfort of the couch as Ash and Misty battled it out in some racing game Mrs. Ketchum had gotten Ash for his birthday. Ash had, of course, bragged to Misty about how good he was at the game and how he had beaten Gary so many times he'd lost count. Not one to back down from a challenge, Misty promptly grabbed herself a controller and demanded Ash show her just how good he really was.

"What the hell, Misty?" Ash yelled as his character was forced off the road by a red squirtle shell. Despite his previous statements, he was currently losing to Misty. Misty cackled beside him, her face lighting up.

Brock rolled his eyes, knowing, no matter who won, things would ultimately end in an argument. Ash and Misty were sore losers, especially when it came to losing to each other.

"Yes!" Ash suddenly cheered, following it with a chuckle. Before Misty realized what was happening, her character's car exploded as it was hit by a blue squirtle shell. As the smoke cleared, Ash's character zoomed by, taking over the lead. "You'll never beat me, Mist. I'm unstoppable."

For another lap, Ash and Misty battled it out, throwing item after item at the other's character, trying to gain the lead. They were nearly halfway through the final lap and Misty's character had taken the lead. Left with no items, Ash fumed with anger. With the finish line in sight, Ash tossed his controller to the side and grabbed Misty, pulling her toward him.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" She yelled. "That's chea-"

Misty's controller dropped to the floor as Ash's lips crashed into hers.

Brock nearly passed out from shock, but not before he saw Ash pull away from a dazed Misty and push his character across the finish line.
