After talking to Jake, the school got out of the lockdown and Adam took me to the nurse who wrapped my wound by wrapping my stomach as well as the wound. It felt weird.
Now, we are at the Dark Claw base. After school ended, Sean told us ahead of time that there is going to be a meeting. "Attention everyone!" Sean yelled. Everyone stopped talking to eachother and faced Sean who was in the front of the clearing. "Today, we are welcoming a couple of people to the Dark Claw! And the first people to be welcomed is Kayla and her partner Ryan!" Sean announced and Kayla happily came to Sean with Ryan right by her side. "Thank you!" Kayla thanks Sean cheerfully. He smiles. Then, Kayla and Ryan were dismissed to their seats and Sean moved on. "Next, welcome Jake and Ashton!" My eyes widen. Jake?! Why the hell would Jake want to join the Dark Claw? Jake and his partner Ashton walk up to Sean. Jake looked over and locked eyes with me. I glance at Adam and I notice that he's glaring at Jake. I sigh. Adam, what's wrong? Do you know Jake from somewhere? Adam nods. How? I ask and he sighs. "Just listen, I'm sure Sean will say." He mumbled. "Also, Jake is my son along with Adam! He's Adam's twin brother!" Sean announced and I snap my head over to Adam. Twin?! I've known you forever but I didn't know you had a twin! Adam rolls his eyes. I would never talk about him. Sean kept him hidden from everyone but us so you wouldn't hear about him. He explained. "Thank you for welcoming us into the Dark Claw." Ashton thanked Sean instead of Jake. Ashton is a girl, my age. She's very pretty. She has waist length long golden blonde hair and unusual blue eyes. Sean dismissed them and Ashton lead Jake passed people but Jake stopped when they reached me. "Midnight, meet me at the school, I need to ask you a favor. Don't tell Adam." Jake whispered in my ear. With that, Jake left me and Adam to sit by Ashton. "What did he want?" Adam leaned over to ask me and I shake my head. "Nothing. Just said hi." I lied. "Lier." Adam growled. "Blake and Adam, you guys have the job of training Jake and Ashton. Start training tomorrow after school. Also, Blake and Adam, meet me in my office. Now." With that, Sean dismissed all of us.
Adam and I started to walk over to Sean's office when Kayla stopped us. "Sissy! Are you in trouble?" Kayla asks with Ryan right behind her. He smirks. "Blake is Sean's favorite person." Ryan answers. My eyes turn red. "Ryan, I don't think you want to fuck with me right now. I'm not exactly in the best mood and I think it would be dangerous if you messed with me. Also, don't answer anything that isn't directed towards you." I growled. Adam grabbed my hand and I blushed as my eyes turn back aqua. "Relax, Blake he's being a smart ass." We were all inside the base. And Ryan was leaning against a wall. Adam let go of my hand and put a hand on the wall behind Ryan. "Since Kayla is Blake's sister and I'm Blake's best friend/partner, I'm also protective over Kayla. If she is hurt I will kill you. I mean it." Adam growled in a low and definitely threatening tone. Ryan flipped him off which was a bad move on his part. Adam was about ready to kick his ass when I grabbed him by the hand and started to drag him away from Ryan too Sean's office. Sissy! What the hell is wrong with Adam! Kayla messaged me in my head. Not now, we'll talk about that later. I leave it at that with Kayla and drag Adam to Sean's office door. I knock. No answer. "Go on in you two. I'll be there soon." Sean yelled. I walked in. "Hey!" Adam said as Sean pushed him into the office. Sean shut the door behind him after he pushed Adam in.
"Damnit." Adam mumbled the curse word under his breath. As he tried to open the door but discovered that Sean locked it. "Adam, why did you snap on Ryan?" I ask. "Because I can." He stated. I walk over to the filing cabinets and I picked up a black marker along along with a red marker and a orange marker and a royal blue marker.
A silence fell between me and Adam for a couple of minutes when Adam broke it. "What did Jake want?" He brought up again and I sigh. "Adam, why the hell does it matter? It's nothing important." I tell him again. I uncapped the black marker and start drawing on the back of my left hand. I drew my logo/symbol thing. It's a black fox paw print that's colored in black along with the claws. I recap the black marker and then uncapped the red marker and drew a flame, indicating that the paw print is on fire. I color in the flame with the orange marker. "Yes. It does matter." Adam replies, watching me draw on my hand. I draw black lines that are kinda connecting the paw prints and color that in with the royal blue. I put all of the markers back where I found them. And when I turned around Adam was walking over to me. Before I could move, he had me pinned to the wall. "A-Adam!" Was all I could get out. He kissed me. "Woah! What's going on here?" Adam slowly pulled his lips away from mine and turned around. His fist balled up tight. "What do you want Sean?" Adam growled and I peaked around him to see Sean's evil smile. "Shouldn't you call me dad, son." Sean reminded him. Adam was pissed. "You aren't my father anymore." He fired back. I sigh. "Sean, what did you want to talk about?" I changed the subject. Adam looked like he was about ready to kill his dad. "Ah, that's right. So tonight at 1 am, there is a train passing through and in the train, there will be a lot of guns and ammo. We need that. You two will get it."
