-After Lunch-
"Every student, including Phoenix magic high school students, please make your way towards the battle arena." Mrs. River announced. "Kenji do you want to sit by us?" Kayla invited him. "Oh uh yeah sure. If we are allowed too." He smiled at Kayla and she blushed. Looks like someone has a crush on Kenji. I tell Adam and he smiles.
We all sit down in the front row of the second floor of the viewing area for the arena. "This is going to be exciting. I wonder who they are going to call first." I mumble. "Watch out Blake, they might call you first." Kenji laughed. I laughed as well. "So true." I sat down in the middle of Adam and Kenji and Kayla sat down by Kenji. "The first person who will be starting the trail out is Kayla Williams!" I froze. Shit. Kayla blinked. "Oh. Okay. Wish me luck I guess." She ran down. Good luck. Be careful. I bit my lip. "Blake relax. She's gonna be fine." Adam reassured me.
Kayla's POV
I'm scared. I'm scared. I think. What if I don't do good? What if I end up getting seriously hurt? All of the negative thoughts keep racing through my mind. Good luck. Be careful. My sister told me. What if...what if I let her down? What if..if I fail she won't be proud of me? I get dressed into a black short sleeved shirt and regular blue jeans. I put my weapon holsters on for my hand pistols, shotgun, and my sword. I put on my black shoes. I'm scared out of my mind. Calm down Kayla. You can totally do this. I sigh. "Alright ladies and gentlemen! We are going to spawn Kayla into the battle arena and begin her trial!" I stand still. I close my eyes and I'm teleported into the battle arena. "Kayla, for your trail, we are going to surround you with 15 hell hounds that are under our control. You need to kill all of them. Unless you get hurt or you finish, the trial will not end." Mrs. Shiina informed me. "Are you ready?" I nod. "Begin!" 15 hell hounds spawned. Let's do this. I wait. "Oh. Yes you can use magic." I roll my eyes. Thanks for telling me. 2 hell hounds came running. I pull out my hand pistols and shoot them. They de-spawned. This is gonna be easy.
Blake's POV
"This is way too easy for her." I murmured. I watched her carefully. She already killed 10 of the hounds. She defeated the other 5 easily.
Kayla's POV
That seemed too easy. I waited. Kayla, keep your guard up. My sister warns me. "That wraps up Kayla's trial! Next we will have Blake Williams trial!"
