While he goes all out on birthdays, he also doesn't make it "embarrassing". For the most part, he'd sorta host two parties.

The first being the one that he went crazy with, and that only has family and family-like friends.

The second being optional and with the kid's friends. He obviously tones down on the theme but still keeps it.
