10th grade

I am in the library right now with jungkook to help him out. It's for our final exam. He already failed the last grading and failing again in the exam may result him to fail the whole subject.

"Thank you for helping me Chae. I don't know what I'm gonna do without you."

"Thank me when you already passed the exam." I told him and gestured him to focus on what he was doing.

"I will ace this exam! Park chaeyoung is my tutor what would you expect?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "Just go study will you?"

He gave me his bunny smiles before returning his attention to the problems I made him solve. I am watching him as he seriously answering the questions I prepared for him when my phone suddenly vibrates continuosly.

It's taehyung...

I excused myself to answer the call. I  saw him give me a little frown before he nodded.

"Chaeyoung."

I noticed the sadness in his voice. "Are you okay?"

There was a pause. And it made me worried.

"I didn't pass the audition... again."

"Where are you?" he doesn't need to tell me. I know he needs me right now.

"I'm at our place."

"I'll be there. wait for me. Okay?"

He hummed in response before he ended the call.

I quickly went back to Jungkook.

"kook, I have to go."

"Why? You said you're gonna help me."

"Taehyung just came back from his audition. He needs a friend right now."

"But I need you too. You promised to help me."

"I already gave you handouts and reviewers. Just go through them and you'll see. You can pass this okay?"

He nodded but there's no emotion in his eyes. "Kook? You'll follow us there right? I'll tell Yoongi and Jennie too."

"I'll pass. I need to study."

"Okay. See you tomorrow then? Bye Kook!"

I ruffled his hair before i made my way out.
