Past Time Lover | {BTS} (1K special)
Your eyes flicked over the handsome young man sitting across you then at the waitress who seemed pretty amused as she placed the two cups of drinks containing different beverages; chocolate and lime.
"I'm thirsty," you reasoned as you slumped back against your chair. She just gave you a smile before her heels clacked against the floor again to indicate that she had left.
"Used to it?" the boy asked.
You shrugged your shoulders and replied with a 'maybe'. The person sharing the table with you was not a human but rather a lost spirit. This explained why the waitress was surprised as she couldn't see him.
A clairvoyant - that's what you are. A medium who connects the two worlds together; living and death.
The reason you were meeting him, Jeon Jungkook, was due to a test that you had to take.
To ensure that you could continue the bloodline, you had to date seven dead bachelors. Your grandma wanted to kill two birds with one stone.
Do the things they wished to with their lovers and collect a coloured stone. There's a catch though. You had to complete all before the dawn of the seventh day or the remaining lost souls couldn't be saved.
You let out a sigh as you recalled and looked up at Jungkook.
"So, what is it that you wish to do?"

You were never good at playing games and currently, you were at an arcade because Mr. Jeon Jungkook believed that arcade was the epitome of a fun date. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes when he couldn't grab the door handle.
You shook your head and touched his chest with your first finger.
"Can you excuse us?" A couple asked Jungkook as he was blocking the entrance.
He blinked his eyes and apologised as he stepped aside. You noticed him being confused.
"How can you play if you can't touch? You are a human today so act like one," you explained and glanced at Jungkook who didn't hear a single thing as he was too excited by the fact that he could play games.
You let out a groan as you hadn't won even a single game. He chuckled at your expression which caused you to glare at him.
"Why are you so good?" You whined.
"I like to play games. It's been a long time since I got to do so. I don't really have a lot of friends and when I come to Seoul, I lost contact with everyone."
You hummed and glanced at the basketball machine. You pointed at it.
"Last game."
A huge grin appeared on his face and he nodded.
"I lost again!"
You had given up. He's way too good. He had won way too many tickets and you had lost way too many games.
He ruffled your hair when you pouted.
"You are cute. Wait here."
You raised your eyebrow and just nodded your head as he disappeared to somewhere. He soon came back with a white rabbit toy in his arms.
He gave it to you and you held it up, a white stone pendant dangled around the neck.
"Wha-"
"I had fun!"
"For real?"
He giggled and pulled you into a hug.
"Thank you and don't forget me after I'm gone," he whispered into your ears and disappeared into the thin air.

You were once again at the same cafe with the same waitress placed the same drinks on the table. She didn't question you but she still had that amused look when you gave her the same excuse.
Kim Taehyung, the second boy, was a designer and wished to have his lover wear the clothes that he had produced. The question that popped up in your head was how ghosts were so good looking.
He waved his hand to get your attention.
You cleared your throat and agreed to whatever he said which led to you entering the old but well-kept boutique. All the dresses were hanged neatly around the shop and you loved the way it was decorated; simple yet aesthetic.
Taehyung picked a few styles and let you try them on. He settled on the couch while you excused yourself to the fitting room.
Time passed by and you were starting to regret your life choices. You had tried on almost all of his clothes but he was still not satisfied. He simply stated that it was not the style that he was looking for and you were starting to get tired so you went on a search yourself while he picked a few more.
A white wedding gown caught your attention and you stood there to admire it. Taehyung noticed you and went to stand by your side.
"I made this while thinking of my future lover. I imagined how she would look like when she walked down the aisle. Too bad, I could never see that live."
You turned to look at him.
"Can I try it?"
He blinked his eyes and rubbed the back of his neck.
"You sure? I feel like I'm asking too much from you."
You shook your head and grabbed the dress. It somehow fitted your frame perfectly and you slid the curtain aside to reveal yourself.
Taehyung stared at you with his mouth slightly apart as if his breath was caught away. You faked a cough when he didn't respond.
"I-um-sorry. I was just too amazed by your beauty. If I was alive, I would've asked for your hand."
You giggled and held your hand out which caused him to furrow his eyebrows.
"There may not be a red carpet but we can walk through those chairs as if we are getting married."
His eyes sparkled at the idea and the two of you pretended that there were people sitting as both of you walked down.
After you had changed, he handed you the purple stone.
"Are you really satisfied with today?"
"You've done so much for me. How could I not be? Oh and keep the dress."
You nodded your head. He stepped forward and held your hand.
"Thank you and don't forget me."
Just like that, he vanished like Jungkook.

It was the third time you were seated at the same place in the cafe with two drinks. The waitress didn't ask for your order anymore as she had already memorised them. It wasn't your fault. You didn't know what the other liked so you just ordered chocolate and it's not like they can drink them but it felt necessary.
The cute blondie, Park Jimin, seemed a little shy but there's a mix of innocence and mischief in his eyes.
He wanted to take photographs of his lover at a beautiful place and that was how the two of you ended up at Nami Island.
He was amazed by all the little things and you couldn't help but smile. You posed for the camera and he would always compliment you.
Walking down the path, you noticed him staring at your hand so you just went straight for his without saying anything. He wasn't even taken aback as he intertwined the hands like he was waiting for the right moment.
Your lips tugged into a smile and the journey continued until he was satisfied. He knelt down while holding your hand.
You felt something cold against your fourth finger and it was the ring with yellow stone. You gasped and he stood up again.
"Are you really okay with just this?"
"I'm more than okay. You did more than necessary."
"But-"
He kissed the back of your hand and you felt him smile against your skin.
"I'm really serious. Thank you and don't forget me."
After saying those words, he disappeared like the other two.

You wondered if this cafe was a hangout place for the lost souls because they would only call you here and the waitress had already memorised the time you would be there as the drinks were ready when you sat down.
You observed the gorgeous man seated before you and you gulped when he smiled with his dimples appearing by the sides.
You came to a conclusion that all lost souls were stunning.
Kim Namjoon was his name and he wanted to make some potteries with his lover. You were thankful that there was a workshop nearby or you would have to search for one which would be a hassle.
You were a fast learner so you got a hold of it quickly. The problem was Namjoon who could break anything with just a touch. You wondered if it would be possible to do it together and it was then you had a brilliant idea.
"Let's do it together!"
He gave it a thought and maybe he somehow got it but also somehow got a wrong idea as he placed his stool behind yours and his hands above yours. Your back was against his chest and you could feel his presence against your skin, sending your heart to pump faster and shivers down your spine.
"Oh! It works this way too!"
Since, he had a huge smile plastered on his face, you let it go and the two of you managed to make one together. He grinned at the final product and the only thing left was for it to get heated.
He shoved his hand down his pocket and took out a blue coloured stone. Your eyes widened and you glanced up at him.
"But it's not done yet."
"That would take too much time. Besides, you did what I wanted with me."
You took it hesitantly and he noticed so he pulled you. You were pressed against his chest for the second time. You looked up at him and he bobbed your nose.
"That was unnecessary." You scrunched your nose and he chuckled, "Couldn't help it."
"Thank you and do remember me!"
He disappeared and you held his stone in your hands.

You believed that you couldn't get attacked in the heart anymore but you were proved wrong when another attractive man was seated before you.
Jung Hoseok, he introduced himself, wanted to watch the sunset with his lover. It sounded decent and you decided on going to the beach.
Unfortunately, rain started pouring down and you didn't know if you could watch the sunset with Hoseok by the end of the day.
You noticed a frown on his face so you told him a few jokes, made faces at him and played games to liven up the mood. It didn't take long for a smile to take over his face and you knew it looked a thousand times better than those curved down lips.
Thankfully, the rain stopped just in time before the sunset. You walked on the sandy land with Hoseok who managed to find a stick and drew on the sand. He had written your name and his with a heart in the middle.
You noticed the sun setting so you gestured him to watch. The sight was breathtaking as the horizon turned gold until the sky became grey.
He faced you afterwards and gave you a huge hug. He then gave you a green coloured stone after releasing his hug.
"Is this really okay?"
You were quite unsure as you felt bad taking it. You seriously didn't do much but he gave you an assuring smile.
"It's fine!" He chirped and started looking around again. He squatted down to pick something and grabbed your hand. He kissed a pink seashell and placed it on your palm. "Not much but I hope this can remind you of me."
You didn't know why you blushed when he kissed it. Maybe it was because he was looking at you when he did that.
"Don't forget me after I say goodbye!"
Just like that, he disappeared as if he was the sun who had set for the stars to appear.

This was something new as you were not at the cafe but in front of an apartment that your grandma had texted you the previous night. It stated to just enter and that was what you did.
The place was dusty, dark and white cloths were covering the furnitures. Your eyes roamed around and you spotted a delicate looking man sleeping on the couch.
"Are you Min Yoongi?"
He peeked at you and nodded his head.
"What do you want to do?"
You let out a yelp when he pulled you by the wrist, causing you to fall on top of him. He trapped you in his arms.
"Sleep."
"Wha-"
"Just sleep."
"Oh... are you sure?"
He didn't reply and had his eyes closed. You were speechless at the situation so you took your time to study his beautiful features. You felt sleepy and drifted off to dreamland in his arms
You were awoken by the sound of the piano. You glanced over at Yoongi whose hands were dancing across the keys.
"Awake?"
You nodded your head and sat beside him when he gestured you to.
"I've always wanted to play a song I've written for my lover. Are you willing to listen?"
"I would love to."
He gave you a gummy smile and started playing. The keys produced a dulcet tune; one you wouldn't mind listening to everyday.
He turned to you after he was done.
"How was it?"
"Way too beautiful. I've never heard anything like this before, let alone have someone play for me."
"Thank you," he replied shyly and reached for something.
He passed you a music box. "This has the music I just played recorded inside," he paused and placed the black coloured stone, "Thank you."
"I didn't do anything."
"You being here is everything."
You wanted to say something but that seriously caught you off guard and your face was burning.
He leaned in and kissed your forehead.
"Don't forget me."
And once again, he disappeared like the rest.
••••••••••••••••••<>••••••••••••••••••
You tapped on the table. Something was not right. The last lost soul was nowhere to be found. He had not called you and when you asked your grandma, she told you to figure it out yourself.
Time was ticking by and you waited at the cafe, hoping that someone would stop by. You were afraid that if you went elsewhere, you might end up missing the person.
It was the last day and that meant that the last stone must be collected before dawn.
You stared at the people walking past through the window. You let out a sigh and took your phone out as you didn't have anything better to do.
The sky was getting darker and the waitress let you stay. However, it was getting darker than predicted.
Your eyebrow inclined when you saw a reminder. You clicked on it.
'Our Anniversary. Meet at the park where we play on the swings.'
It took you a while to realise what it was. You hurriedly grabbed your things and rushed off the cafe. The waitress watched you running away and coming back to thank her before going off again.
You headed down as fast as your feet could. Your cursed at yourself for wearing heels so you took them off. You ran barefooted and hated the fact that the park was far away with time ticking away.
The sky was slowly starting to gain colour and you cursed at yourself when you reached the park. Without wasting another second, you shouted.
"Don't you dare leave, Kim Seokjin."
It was almost magical when the first light appeared in the sky and shone on the heavenly man who sat on the swings. His eyes shone when you ran to hug him.
"You found me."
"I'm sorry for forgetting you."
He shook his head, "It's alright. People tend to forget those whose worlds are apart."
You wanted to retaliate but he stopped you by pressing his lips against yours. You closed your eyes and let the sweetness fill you up.
He let go and you saw the sun up in the sky.
"Did I-"
He shook his head.
"But I didn't do anything."
"You remembered me and that's all I need."
He requested you to take all your stones out. He placed his white stone on top and soon the stones combined together to form a rainbow coloured stone.
You looked up at him when he tucked your hair behind your ear.
"Don't forget me when I'm gone, princess."
"Never again."
He smiled and just like the rest, he disappeared like he was never there but remained in your heart like always.
