The maple leaves had turned red across the park in the presence of fall. The city was becoming more and more beautiful and the weather was perfect for those who love the mid-temperature season.

At the corner of the cafe sat a gorgeous lady with a cup of her favourite latte and a journal book with cute stickers on it. She hummed as she took a sip of her drink and jolted down a few things on her book.

She paused to think and smiled as she recalled what happened in the month of November. Lyn, which she preferred to be called, had a unique way of keeping her memories in her journey. She only noted down her journey in November and wouldn't touch any other month. She didn't have a particular reason for that but she loved November as she was born then.

This year, it was different from the other months. She met two special people at the start of November whom she never expected to be a big part of her life.

It started with her moving to London to enrol into the university offering doctoral degrees. She decided to apply for the full-time course which would start next week. Since she was free to go around, she checked the campus out so that she wouldn't get lost on the first day. The school was huge and she got tired so she dropped by at the cafeteria and rested with a book she was halfway through.

Her attention was taken away by the clearing of his throat and dulcet voice.

"Mind if I sit here?"

She raised her eyebrow in amusement as she closed her book. The man was extremely handsome and looked like he had just walked down the runway even though he was just wearing a casual blue shirt tucked into his black pants.

"And why do you want to share a table with me?"

"Isn't the reason obvious?" he asked as he was pulling the chair out to sit down.

"I'm sort of oblivious," she smiled, "Why don't you spell it out for me?"

Knowing her intention, the other smirked as he leaned his body inwards.

"I suppose you must've hit your head when you fell to Earth."

"Excuse me?"

He chuckled lightly, "I saw you looking around the campus. I guess you will be part of the new batch. I'm your senior. Let's just say I want to get to know you more."

Lyn obviously knew what he was trying to do so she just decided to play along. After all, it's not possible to meet someone like him on daily basis.

"So, Senior Stranger, may I at least know your name?"

"Oh, pardon me. I was too astonished by your beauty that I had forgotten to introduce myself. I am Kim Seokjin and what would your name be?"

Lyn giggled at the compliment he gave and introduced herself.

"You can just call me Lyn and you are right about me joining the new batch."

"I guess I have a reason to enjoy coming to the university now."

Lyn rolled her eyes and decided to continue reading her book. Seokjin got up and went somewhere before coming back with two cups of coffee. He handed one to Lyn and kept one for himself. Lyn didn't forget to thank him.

"So, did it hurt?"

Lyn blinked her eyes as she was confused by the question that Seokjin had asked.

"When you fall to Earth," he added with a wink which caused Lyn to laugh.

"Are you always this flirtatious?"

"Not really. I obviously had girlfriends before but you can say you are the first."

"Do you plan to use those cliche pickup lines whenever you meet me?"

"Is it working?"

"What are you going to do if I say no?"

"I'll come up with another one."

Lyn couldn't believe this guy but she kinda did grow a liking towards him. He's one of a kind.

"You sure are confident in yourself. Well, why don't you give it a try then?"

"Do you believe in first love?"

"Whoah. Are we going there immediately?"

Seokjin just shrugged his shoulders and grinned. He gave her a look and Lyn just shook her head. Just as he was about to say something, his phone rang and Lyn could tell that he was disappointed.

"As much as I would love to spend more time with you, my classes have started," he sighed and stood up. "It's really nice to meet you, Lyn. Hope we get to meet more often and do call me if you need any help. I'll be there for you."

"Thank you, Seokjin."

The next person she met was when she was rushing to class on the first day. She accidentally slept late and had to sprint to school to make it on time. Like a cliche romance movie, she ended up bumping into a person and dropped her things on the ground. She let out a whine and started picking her things up. The other also knelt down to help her.

"I'm really sorry," she apologised. "I was running late and-"

"Whoah easy there, princess. It's fine. I was at fault too so you don't really have to start apologising."

Lyn giggled sheepishly and thanked him for helping her out. She checked the person out briefly and gulped down. He had soft hair and an adorable face. He was wearing black from head to toe and definitely rocked the look. She almost froze until he handed the things back to her. She took them back and looked around, trying to recall which way she should head to.

"Don't worry. You are not late. The class has yet to start because the lecturer brought the wrong materials for the lesson and needed to head back to his office to grab the right ones."

"Oh... I guess I'm lucky then."

"I guess I am too."

"What?"

"Well, I am also part of the new batch. My name is Min Yoongi. It's nice to meet you."

Lyn nodded her head and introduced herself. Yoongi gave her a cute smile and told her that they should head back to which Lyn agreed.

"Shall we be seat mates?" Yoongi requested.

"Well, I would be more than happy."

"Today must be a really lucky day for me."

"Why do you say that?"

"Well, I bumped into a beautiful lady who happened to be in the same class as me and we are now seat mates. Doesn't it remind you of every romantic stories?"

Lyn laughed heartily and glanced at Yoongi who just smiled as if he had said nothing.

"What?" he asked in a whiny tone.

"You watch too much movies."

"Actually, I read."

"Really?" she teased which caused Yoongi to pout.

"Hey, do I really look like someone who doesn't read?"

"It's not good to judge a person by the looks."

"Beautiful and well mannered lady. Definitely my type."

"Aren't you being too straightforward?"

"Better than beating around the bushes."

Lyn ended up laughing again and Yoongi joined. She knew that she would definitely get along with him and was glad to be in the same class as him.

Lyn placed her pen down after writing down. The days she spent with Seokjin and Yoongi were plenty. There were many funny episodes and Lyn had written all of those inside. There was once when the two boys met and ended up fighting over how one is better than another and started playing games to show off. Lyn only knew later that the two had known each other for years and were roommates.

Of course she couldn't forget the fact that they turned out to be her neighbour. It was just a step away and the two had the most dramatic reaction when she came knocking on their door to introduce herself.

There were way more to note and Lyn just couldn't get enough of those two. It was never a boring day with them. She stood up and returned back to her home.

When she arrived back and stood at her door, she could hear noises coming out and knew who were inside. She chuckled lightly before keying in her passcode and entering her house.

"Happy Birthday, Lyn!"

The two greeted with a cake in each of their hands and messy faces.

"Thank you, guys!"

"Let's make a wish then," Seokjin and Yoongi chanted as they pulled her towards the living room. The two sang her a birthday song while she made a wish and blew off the candles on both of the cakes.

The two clapped happily and Lyn laughed as she found them adorable.

It was the best November for her and so will the rest of the Novembers since she would be spending those months the same way. It wouldn't just be November for her to treasure anymore. Every single month would be a precious memory to keep because they would always be there for her.
