You flipped the book that you found in your attic after you had spent an hour of cleaning and storing your old things up there.
It was while you were cleaning the attic that you found an old fairytale book inside a box. You had never seen it before but it seemed interesting so you decided to bring it down with you back to your room.
Currently, you opened the book to read the story to kill some time. It worked as a bedtime story as well since sleep was the only task left to end the night.
You puckered your lips when the pages were blank. There was absolutely nothing written except for the title,
Chapter 1, Cinderella.
You were looking forward to reading some nice story but it seemed like your hopes were crashed. You let out a sigh in disappointment and set the book aside.
Unfortunately, the book slipped through your fingers and it dropped onto the floor. You muttered a few curses and reached to grab the book which was flipped open.
Just as your hand was about to touch the blank page, a bright light shone out and you gasped. A strong force sucked you into the book and you screamed in fear as you fell into the page.
Wind blew inside the empty room and the page flipped back to the front page.

You woke up and found yourself in a dark garden which gave off a creepy vibe as the flowers were withered and trees were grown in an oddly shape.
You stood up and shivered as the cold breeze brushed against your skin.
"Gosh! Where am I?"
You hugged yourself and rubbed your palm against your arm to keep yourself warm. You could even see your own breath in the air whenever you breathed out.
"What are you doing here and not going to the ball, Cinderella?"
You turned around when you heard a voice. You spotted an old lady who reminded you of the fairy godmother in Cinderella.
"Excuse me?" you asked.
The lady raised her eyebrow and placed her hands on her hips.
"Don't tell me you plan to go to the ball like that, Cinderella?"
"What are you talking about? Why are you calling me Cinderella? And what is wrong with my..."
You looked at yourself and realised that your clothes were slightly crumpled and torn. Your hair was in a mess and you were barefooted. You huffed our an air to blow your fringed away from your face.
"Oh," was all you could say.
The lady shook her head and made a disapproving noise.
"This won't do! I'm going to dress you up."
"Dre- for what?"
The lady just rolled her eyes and fished out a white wand. She twirled it and sparkling lights appeared around her wand.
"Bibidi Babidi Boo!" she spoke those magical words that you had always heard when you were young.
Magical lights swirled around you and all you could do was stare at the scene unfold with wide eyes. Your clothes soon started to change into a beautiful blue dress and your hair was tied into a bridal updo. You gasped at the change of your clothes and made a turn.
"This... this is amazing!"
You felt that something was on your feet so you lifted the dress and saw that you were wearing a pair of pretty glass slippers.
"Like it, Cinderella?"
You glanced at the lady who was smiling at you. Although you had no idea what was going on, you nodded your head to answer her question.
"A kiss will wake you up."
"What?"
She chuckled and spun her wand once again. This time, a huge pumpkin carriage was formed with coachman.
"Now go, Cinderella. You will be late for the ball."
"But-"
Before you could say anything, she pushed you inside and closed the door. The horses started running off to the castle that could be seen and you turned back to lady who had already disappeared into the thin air.

You soon arrived at the huge castle which left you in awe. You walked inside and headed up the stairs where the waltz music was coming from.
You peeked from the entrance and gasped when you saw the massive number of royal people inside. They were either dancing with partners or having a conversation while watching others.
As you were walking inside, you felt something weird. You lifted your dress up slightly and gasped when you saw that you were missing a slipper.
You quietly entered the ballroom and stood at the back as you watched the colourful dresses swung side to side and smiles plastered on their faces as they looked at their male partner fondly.
You looked around to find out where you've left it but a few more guests entered the place, pushing you inside along with them.
You let out a sigh and limped to the balcony as there was nothing you could do. Everything was too magical and you still couldn't figure out what was going on.
You looked up at the night sky when you reached outside. The sky was extremely beautiful tonight as the stars sparkled like diamonds and the moon shone brightly in the middle of the sky.
"What are you doing out here alone, milady?"
You flinched at the sudden voice and turned to the direction. Your heart skipped a beat when you sighted a handsome man.
His black hair was neatly styled with his forehead slightly showing. His sparkly eyes were strikingly shinning under the moonlight and his other facial features were aligned perfectly which made him look like an actual prince (which he is). He just seemed so ethereal like an angel who had fallen from the sky that you couldn't take your eyes off him.
"Too mesmerised by my looks?"
You gasped when you realised just how close he was. He backed away with a soft chuckle. His voice sounded so lovely and you wanted to hear it again.
"Well, milady... you haven't answer my question."
You blinked your eyes and stared at him blankly.
"Seems like you were really out of it," he chuckled again, "I asked what you were doing out here instead of dancing inside."
"Oh... umm... I don't really have one to dance with and I don't really know how," you fidgeted nervously.
"A beautiful lady like you don't have a partner?" he gasped which made you blush.
He held his hand out to you.
"Care to dance with me?"
"T-that is..." you looked down at your barefoot.
His eyes travelled down as well and mouthed an 'o'. He knelt down and lifted your dress, causing you to flinch.
"What are you doing?"
He held your foot in his hand and the other hand which had been behind his back was finally brought to the front. He was holding the glass slipper.
"I assume this is yours?"
Without waiting for you response, he put it on your foot and it was a perfect fit.
A smile appeared on his face and he stood up again. He brushed the dust off his clothes and looked at you.
"Now, shall we dance?"
Without any hesitation, you answered him.
"Gladly."
You placed your hand on his which he held gently. The two of you went inside and stood in the middle. The rest of the guests stopped dancing and stepped aside to create space.
You were uneasy by the attention that you were receiving.
"T-they are staring," you told him.
"Only because you are pretty," he smiled sweetly.
Your ears turned red and your heart raced. The Band started playing their music which cued the two of you to start dancing.
"Just follow my lead."
You nodded and the two of you started dancing according to the beat. He guided you perfectly and the two of you looked at each other in the eyes. You soon got a hold of it and the dance went on smoothly.
Despite the many people in the room, the two of you only had eyes on each other. He smiled at you warmly and you returned the smile.
It was a moment just for the two of you.
After the dance, the two of you walked through the castle's garden. The place was filled with beautiful flowers of all colours and the night just made the scenery more appealing.
"I... I really didn't know you were a prince," you stuttered as you took a glimpse at him. You didn't dare to make an eye contact with him as you felt like your heart would jump out of your chest if you did.
"I guess so. Well, it's surprising to find someone who didn't know me. But I'm not really bothered by that so you don't have to worry."
The two of you stopped in the middle of the bridge which interconnected the two parts of the garden which was divided by a lake. The reflection of the moon could be seen on the clear lake.
He stood face to face with you and held your hand. Your eyes landed on him and the two of you held your gazes. The quiet night and just the sound of the wind blowing softly made the night perfect.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" he questioned without expecting an answer from you.
He continued, "I believe so."
"Just like an angel you appeared before me tonight. You made my night a special one and you make my heart beat like no other."
He bend down slightly to reach to your level and brought his hand up to lift your chin. He tilted your face as he landed his lips against yours.
The soft kiss brought a tingling sensation inside your heart. The sweetness of his lips and the gentle affection embraced you with warmth and love.
The two of you parted your lips.
Your eyes felt heavy and you blacked out in his arms.
"Now, wake up, milady."

You opened our eyes to find yourself back in your own room. You looked around and saw the book on your side table.
You let out a sigh as you realised that it was just a dream.
The ringing of the door bell woke you up fully. You got off the bed and headed down the stairs. Just as you left the room, the wind blew causing the pages of the book to flip.
The ringing didn't stop so you shouted, "Coming."
You opened the door and your eyes grew bigger when you saw the familiar person standing before you.
A smile appeared on his face as he held out the gift in his hands.
"Hi, I'm Kim Seokjin. I just recently moved into your neighbourhood."
The pages of the book stopped turning and it reached to a page with words written on it.
