Snake 16
To his surprise, Fen didn't head straight for his bed. Instead, the guy stopped beside a dresser and pulled out a pair of dark green and blue checkered pajama pants. Before he could even try to put them on, however, Pyre yanked them out of his hand.
He got another unamused look from over Fen's shoulder, but the guy didn't say anything as he got out another pair of pants. Those, too, were stolen before they could be dawned. Fen, somehow, still didn't seem deterred, because he continued to empty his dresser until Pyre could barely see over the massive stack of clothing in his arms. He noticed a tiny bit of movement over the top of the mountain of stuff he was carrying and saw Fen settle one pair of socks neatly on top of the whole stack with an amused grin.
You...
"And you," Fen said before walking over to the far side of the bed and picking up a pair of black pajama pants that had been sitting on the nightstand.
Wait. What are those doing over there?
Fen shrugged one shoulder and pulled the garment on before dropping down to sit on the edge of the bed. Pyre wanted to start grumbling at him, but he could already see the guy beginning to shiver so he bit his tongue and dropped the armful of clothing he held, then scurried up onto the thick blankets.
It took him no time at all to crawl over to his target, then wrap him in a tight hug from behind.
"Fen..." he whispered as his nose nudged the man's ear.
"Mm?" Fen replied nonchalantly.
Pyre wanted to stick his tongue on and lick at the ear right in front of him, as well as nip and tug on it, but he knew that he'd be pushing his luck. Fen was extremely chill as far as certain situations went, but there was always a limit to that. Especially if you really didn't know each other that well, or for that long.
What do I even say to him?
He didn't feel right asking him for sex right after having heard his thought earlier. Not even as a joke.
We could die together, you know, he thought reflexively.
It wouldn't be so bad if he had someone with him when he did it. Not that he wanted Fen to die, but that wasn't his decision to make.
"I know quite a few ways that would end it all pretty quickly, without too much pain," he said out loud with his chin resting against Fen's shoulder.
The other man waited a few moments before responding as he lifted one hand up to grab Pyre's right arm.
"I'm really enjoying this deep conversation, but someone's hand is going pretty deep into my shirt right now, too."
Caught me.
Not that he'd been trying to hide the fact that he'd been feeling up Fen's pecs as he talked. His hands had a mind of their own... especially around such a hot piece of deliciousness.
"Deliciousness, huh?" Fen mused as he tilted his head to the side enough to give Pyre a look.
Got it, got it.
He released the guy and flopped down onto the bed with a dramatic sigh. It was too early to actually sleep, but he was clearly not going to get very far with the guy right then.
"Do I at least get cuddling privileges now?" he asked as Fen got himself tucked comfortably beneath the three heavy blankets before resting his head on the fluffiest looking pillow Pyre had ever seen.
The guy seemed to consider his words carefully before replying.
"If you put on some pants."
Pyre let out a loud, distraught groan as he rolled to the right, then back to the left, leaving him facing Fen.
"You may look like a super buff angel, but you're a devil. A devil, I say!" he grumbled even as he pushed himself up and scooted off the bed toward the pile of clothes he'd dropped on the floor.
Wait. There aren't just pants in this pile.
"You seriously pulled out pants, sweaters, shirts, and socks to pile in arms?" he asked, his tone annoyed as he glared back at Fen, who was clearly trying to hide his growing smile beneath the blankets.
This guy...
He was acting like a childish kid.
So says the childish kid.
Pyre bristled at that jab and folded his arms over his chest. He wanted to tell the guy to find a new human heater, but he knew that he had two people that were more than willing right in the other room.
No way am I losing my touching time.
Thus, biting back a scowl, he pulled on a pair of super loose pants, tied the drawstring, then shuffled back over to the bed. He was a bit surprised when Fen sat up as he approached, crawling on top of the blanket. When he got within reach, Fen gently grabbed his upper arm and pulled him right into his lap.
Pyre gave up hoping that the guy would lose his pants already, so he didn't bother grumbling about him already having the blankets over his lap as he settled in against him.
To be honest, he was often too hot in most places, so having a guy that runs much colder than normal was quite nice.
"You feel like a furnace," Fen said as he calmly wrapped his arms around Pyre's middle and leaned back against the pillow he'd just propped up with a few others.
"I can run a lot hotter if we lose the clothes..." Pyre said half-heartedly, knowing that Fen wouldn't just toss his clothing.
His words got a simple chuckle from the guy, making Pyre slowly close his eyes and settle in. He wouldn't fall asleep, but he didn't mind just relaxing for a bit against a bed of muscles.
It didn't take long before his eyes blinked open again, however, because he felt Fen begin sifting his fingers through his messy hair.
"How are you feeling?"
That was a random ass question.
Oh, right. You're a case worker.
Huffing, Pyre pushed himself up and, after a bit of maneuvering and a few grunts from Fen, he managed to settle beneath the heavy blankets but still overtop the other man.
Much better now.
He could just tell that Fen was internally rolling his eyes at his comment but shrugging it off at the same time.
I have this weekend off if you'd like to do anything. Maybe we can get Gin and Blake to come, too.
Pyre turned his head on Fen's shoulder to look at the man as he heard his voice inside his head. He definitely wasn't used to someone just being able to talk there, but it seemed like he was going to have to learn to live with it. He didn't mind that much, especially since it was Fen.
Not sure. I don't usually do things besides eat, sleep, and screw people.
Fen's arms returned to wrap around him as the man's quiet laughter rumbled against Pyre's own chest.
"Well, do you like animals? We could go to the zoo?"
He'd... never even considered going to such a place. It was pretty expensive, especially when he could rarely even afford to feed himself.
"I hear they have quite a nice collection, and it's massive, so there's plenty of things to look at. Last time I was there they even had some carnival games and rides, too," Fen said, making Pyre actually think through the idea.
He did like animals, and considering how much he was being fed recently, he seemed to have quite a lot of extra energy to burn that, unfortunately, wasn't being used on sex. Perhaps a trip to the zoo would actually be nice...
"Oh, hey," he said as he sat up abruptly, straddling Fen.
The guy's eyes had evidently been closed, because they slowly opened when Pyre moved on him.
"What's up, my Fire?" he asked, making Pyre tilt his head at the nickname.
"Can I invite a friend? I haven't seen him a while, but I'm sure he'd love to go, too," he asked, honestly beginning to look forward to the trip.
Fen tilted his head, curious but smiling.
"Of course. You can invite whoever you'd like," he said, making Pyre actually smile widely.
"Hang on, I'm going to go grab my phone so that I can text him and see if he can go," Pyre said as he hurried off the bed and ran from the room.
He 'd expected to run into Gin or Blake while going through the living room, or even see them in Gin's bedroom, but neither man was around.
Maybe they went upstairs to exercise? Or out to get something to eat?
Either way, they weren't there, so he didn't dawdle and quickly grabbed his phone, then returned to Fen's room. As soon as he was settled up against the guy's side he held up his phone and quickly pulled up his contacts. There were only a couple, and the person he mainly talked to was at the top, of course.
"Hmm? Fox? That's an interesting name," Fen said as he glanced at the screen Pyre didn't bother trying to hide. He didn't give a damn if Fen looked at what he wrote.
Pyre: Hey Fox, come to the zoo with me and my man this weekend?
He noticed the three typing dots a few moments later but it took Fox quite a bit of time to actually figure out what he wanted to say.
Probably asking his bodyguards for permission, he thought, making Fen tilt his head with a raised eyebrow.
"He's got two boyfriends," Pyre said, answering his unasked question.
He expected Fen to give a quiet laugh or comment on that, but the guy just nodded and watched as a response finally came onto the screen.
Fox: Sure! Amos has to work but Owen will come with me if that's okay?
Of course it is, I know you guys are a packaged deal.
Pyre: No problem. I'll message you later with the specific day and time.
Fox: Sounds good!
Pyre tossed his phone to the other side of the bed after that message, then turned and smirked at Fen, who looked quite confused about the sudden grin until Pyre suddenly jumped him with a yell.
It didn't take him long to subdue the guy the same way he'd managed to do it when they'd both been on the elevator, fighting over the picture that was still on Fen's phone.
The guy could easily out-muscle him in just about any situation, but he'd learned that he wasn't the fastest so if he could just get his arm behind his back, he had a chance. It helped that he had a bed to push him down into.
God, this view is making me salivate.
"Alright, alright. I give, you got me," Fen mumbled against the sheets.
Pyre licked his lips and leaned down the slightest amount, being careful not to put too much pressure on the man's arm. He definitely didn't want to hurt him.
"Hmm, what do you give?" he asked curiously.
When Fen remained silent, Pyre hesitantly released his arm and leaned over him farther, worried. He was just about to ask him if he was okay when he was abruptly spun onto his back, then pinned down by Fen's much-larger body as the man crossed his arms over Pyre's chest, then leaned his chin on them with a quirky grin.
You cheater... I approve.
"Why thank you," Fen said before Pyre reached up and poked his cheek.
"You still said you give, though. What do I get?"
Fen hesitated, honestly seeming to consider his words before he reached over and grabbed Pyre's phone. He then sat down on Pyre's lower abdomen as he easily guessed the password and began messing with it.
Pyre didn't give a shit if he did stuff to his phone, so he watched silently, waiting for Fen to show off whatever he was doing. When he finally turned the phone around and handed it to him, there was a faint blush on his cheeks.
Oh?
He had three new contacts now...
"I uh, gave you their numbers, too. They definitely wouldn't mind," Fen said as he rubbed at the back of his neck.
Pyre wasn't really sure why he was acting off until he realized that Fen had done one more thing with his phone.
He put a message in my notes...
Please use me as your emergency contact for any forms or situations you might need one for.
He retyped his number below that message, as well as his full name and address, making Pyre stare at it, not sure how to respond. They remained that way for quite a while until Pyre lifted his phone abruptly and took a picture of Fen, messy shirt, unkempt hair and all.
"H-hey!" the guy said as he reached for the phone but was promptly denied when Pyre chucked it across the room and into the closet.
Glad this place has a lot of carpet.
Fen stared across the room for a few seconds with a dumbfounded expression before looking back down at Pyre.
"Needed a good picture for your contact photo," he said, shrugging his left shoulder, which was now mostly out of the too-big shirt.
Fen opened and closed his mouth several times before a few words came fumbling out of it.
"B-but I don't look good at all like this. My hair's amess and my shirt is wrinkled."
Those words made Pyre annoyed, making him sit up abruptly and grab hold of fistfuls of hair on either side of Fen's head before pulling him close.
"Say one more negative thing about your sexy as fuck self and I'm going to be a very bad boy," Pyre warned, making Fen's eyes widen as his face turned bright red.
When the man didn't dare say anything else, Pyre released his hair and flopped back down onto the bed, then yawned.
"You know what, a nap actually sounds good right now," he said as he patted the spot next to him while looking up at Fen.
The guy settled right up against him, then turned onto his side to face him. Not wanting to miss his chance, Pyre nudged himself a tiny bit closer, then wrapped his arms around Fen's neck and pressed his lips to his forehead.
They remained that way for several long moments before he felt Fen wrap his own arms around him. He then hugged him tightly as he tucked his head against Pyre's chest.
"A little nap does sound good," he whispered as he took a few deep, relaxing breaths.
Before Pyre could come up with a response that he deemed worth speaking, he realized that Fen had fallen asleep.
Rest well. I'll keep you warm forever.
