(A/N hey there ho there readers! Its chapter five time and that means its time for Lily to go to hogwarts! Just some background before we get into the chapter, Lily and Draco still have been hanging out in the forest for two years now and they are both eleven obv lol. Cedric kept his promise and brought Lily goodies every year and their relationship as brother and sister only grew stronger while Lily's relationship with Amos and Charlette became worse, to the point where they only exchanged 2 sentances a day at most. Now that you know that, lets get into it!)

September 1st, 1991

My new favorite day.

The day I would FINALLY be going to Hogwarts.

"Lily! Come on! Lets go!" Cedric called up the stairs to me.

"Im coming! Im coming!" I called back, running down the stairs with my trunk behind me.

"Quickly! Children! Say 'Going to hogwarts!'" Father exclaimed and shoved a camera in our faces.

"Going to hogwarts," We echoed.

Dad snapped the photo and rushed us out the door.

As we arrived at the train station, people were rushing all around.

I got out of the car and helped Cedric with his bag and of coure mine aswell.

Cedric helped me through the crowds while I held Spark's box tightly at my side.

As we crossed through to platform 9 3/4, mama and papa were kissing Cedric goodbye as I waited for him.

I let out a sniffle but quickly recomposed myself.

"Hey Lily, im gonna go hangout with my friends, go find a compartment." Cedric walked up to me.

He was almost towering over me, he was almost 5'11 when I was 4'10.

"But Ceddy!" I whined, "You said you would sit with me! This is my first time and I dont know anyone!"

"Go find that blonde kid youre always with," He shrugged, "Look little bear, youre 11 now and its time to put on your big girl pants and stop piggybacking off of me,"

My bottom lip quivered.

"But you promise I get to sit with you during the ride home for christmas ok?" I held out my pinky.

Cedric sighed and took his pinky in mine.

"I Cedric Abrahm Diggory, promise." He did our hand shake.

"Good," I grinned and ran away from him and onto the train.

I rushed around the train, trying to find a spot to sit before they were all full.

I finally found an open compartment where I could sit.

The train started moving, kids waved goodbye to their parents while I just sat down and looked into Sparks box.

"Lets hope this year doesnt go so fast, I already dont want to go home." I sighed to him.

Spark gave me a snakey smile and fell back asleep.

There was a tap on the compartment door and someone opened it.

"Lilith! There you are!" A voice said.

I turned my head and saw the smiling face of my good friend Draco Malfoy.

"Draco!" I grinned back.

Draco sat down next to me.

Two other boys were behind him and they sat down across from us.

"You brought Spark to school?" Draco asked, pointing at the box.

"Well I couldnt just leave him at home.." I sighed.

Draco nodded, he knew exactly what I was talking about.

I looked to the other two boys who were looking at us.

"And you are?" I asked.

"Im Gregory Goyle, and this is Vincent Crabbe." One of the boys answered.

"Ah. Its very nice to meet you both." I responded, flashing them a small smile.

The ride there we discussed school and what we would expect.

Apparently Harry Potter, the chosen one was coming to Hogwarts this year.

Draco found it as an oppurtunity for something but he never actually explained what.

I soon excused myself so I could go change into my uniform.

But I suddenly ran into a fluffy haired girl with almost ten books in her hands.

I helped her up and helped her grab the books I had knocked out of her hands.

"Thanks," She laughed.

"No problem, sorry about that." I replied, getting a good look at her.

"Its alright. Im Hermione Granger!" She greeted me.

"Im Lilith Diggory, its nice to meet you."

"Thats a very pretty name, Lilith."

"Please, call me Lily. Its what my friends call me."

"So we're friends?"

"If you want to be?"

"I would love that."

"Great!"

"Ill see you around Lily," She walked past me.

"See ya!" I called back.

I headed to the bathrooms quickly, changing into my robes and uniform and heading back to the compartment where the boys were already dressed and ready.

"You guys are fast," I giggled.

"No, we just didnt stop and talk to people," Gregory chuckled.

I laughed in return.

"Why were even talking to that mud-blood anyway?" Draco hissed through his teeth.

"Shes my friend.." I shrugged.

"Tsk. If it were my choice, mudbloods wouldnt even be allowed at this school." Draco scoffed.

I let out a light groan and sit back down.

Obviously Draco wasnt perfect, but he was just raised this way and I always knew it.

Hes diffrent when we're alone though, he can be overly sweet and caring.

Draco's just like his father, arrogant and snooty.

But I liked him for who he was, hes my oldest friend and I wouldnt change him.

Though I probably would, but otherwise I wouldnt trade him for the world.

He's my snow boy.

The train stopped.

"First over 'ere!" A voice boomed.

I followed the boys off the train and onto the platform, seeing a huge man up ahead with an even huger beard.

The man lead us to a body of water with tons of boats for us to ride.

I got into the boat with the boys and let the magic take us across the water.

"So what house do you think you'll be in, Lilith?" Vincent asked.

"I dunno. Perhaps Hufflepuff? Thats where my brother is." I shrugged.

"Hufflepuff? Really?" Draco scoffed, "Lets hope not,"

"Whats wrong with Hufflepuff?" I asked.

"Theyre weak and bothersome," He replied.

I furrowed my eyebrows a bit and scrunched my nose.

Cedric wasnt weak. Hes the strongest person I know.

The boat hit the rocks and we climbed out.

We walked down a small corridor into a stairwell.

Kids were talking all around us while I worried about where I would be placed.

I wasnt even paying attention when we all started moving again, through the doors.

All heads moved towards our group as we passed through the middle of the great hall, I waved as I passed the Hufflepuff table because I saw Cedric looking for me.

"When I call your name, come up and sit on the chair so you can be sorted into your houses," The woman announced.

From what Cedric told me, that was Proffessor Mcgonagall.

She was an animagus who could turn into a cat anytime she pleased.

"Abraham, Rune."

not me..

"Alexander, Fae."

"Bulstrode, Millicent."

still no..

"Crabbe, Vincent."

almost there..

"Carrow, Flora."

"Carrow, Hestia."

"Darby, Maxwell."

So close..

"Diggory, Lilith."

My head perked up.

Finally me.

I hesitantly walked up onto the stage and sat upon the stool.

She placed the hat on my head and it started murmuring.

"Difficult.. such a complex mind.." It mumbled.

Did I want to be in hufflepuff or did I need to be in Slytherin??

"Any preference?" It asked me.

"Wherever I belong..." I murmered.

With that sentance it burst out, "SLYTHERIN!"

The Slytherin table cheered and I walked over there.

I sat down next to Crabbe.

Really? Slytherin?

The snake thing makes sense I guess but I kind of wanted to be in hufflepuff so I could be with Cedric.

What would mom and dad think?

I'd be even more of a dissapointment to them when they find out.

Im already a disgrace to the family because of my gift but its going to be even worse now.

~Time Skipperoonie - After dinner~

I followed our headboy into the dungeons, where our common room was.

"Nectre Passus," Our head boy stated.

I guess that was our password.

The door opened and we went inside.

Paintings were speaking to us.

"That girl seems familiar, dear? I recognize that jawline." I heard a painting say to another.

I chose to ignore their babbling and focus on what the headboy was saying to us.

"Girls are on the right, boys on the left. Go find your dorms and stay there for the rest of the night." He said to us and then we were dissmissed.

I say goodnight to the boys and walked up the girl's steps.

I opened Dorm Room number six to see three other girls in there already.

"Hello? Is this dorm six? Im Lilith Diggory." I said to the girls as I closed the door.

"Yeah. Youre in the right dorm. Im Millicent Bullstrode, thats Pansy Parkinson, and Dapheny Greengrass." Millicent introduced everyone.

"Its really nice to meet you all," I nodded and sat down on the last free bed which had my stuff on it.

"Oh yeah same here." Daphney agreed.

"Hey by the way, that weird box over there has been moving non stop for the past five minutes." Pansy pointed at Spark's box.

"Oh!" I laughed and opened the box and pulled Spark out, "Its my pet snake's box. His name is Spark."

"Snake!!" Pansy sqeaked, jumping up onto her bed.

"Im sorry! I can just put him away," I said re-opening Spark's box to put him back in.

"Y'know! I actually thought you were cool for a moment! But turns out there is something wrong with you! Youre just a snake girl!" Pansy exclaimed, yelling at me.

Those words stung my skin.

I brushed it off.

I guess my new roomates werent going to be as pleasent as I wanted them to be.
