"Okay Teddy what are we not going to do?" I ask the boy. He rocks on his feet for a second then stops meeting my eyes. "Teddy?"

"I won't pick up anything breakable," He tells me, "I promise." 

"Then thats everything in order," I say taking his little hand, "well come on lets get you some sweets." As we walk into the candy shop he eagerly moves to the displays. I chuckle following behind him. "You can pick 5 things out. So choose wisely." He automatically moves to pick his candy while I watch him move along the displays.

"Hey Malfoy!" I hear a voice call. I look up to see Neville giving me a big smile.

"Hey Neville!" I say moving to pull him in a hug. As we pull away from each other he looks to Teddy who's trying to grab a chocolate Frog. "Everything okay with you?"

"Yeah I've got a new job and Luna and I moved into together," He tells me.

"Oh something happening there?" I ask him smirking lightly.

"No," He says honestly, "sure we liked each other in the past but we tried to date and it didn't really work. She's still one of my closest friends."

"I get that," I tell him, "It doesn't always work like we imagined in our school days." I move slipping my hands into my pockets.

"What about you everything going well?" He asks.

"Yeah Blaise is living with Draco and I so we went from one baby to two which is strange," I tell him, "but its nice."

"You've got Teddy today?" 

"I had him the last couple days so we're just killing time before Harry comes and picks him up," I say, "so I'm loading him up on candy and such." Neville laughs at the comment. Teddy moves to hand me a couple products to hold for him. He moves off to get more as I look back to Neville.

"It's strange to see you with a kid- like I know you have Teddy and Mikey but it's still so strange ya know," He tells me, "seems like we're too young for it."

"Yeah?" I ask him, "I get it. Throws me off sometimes ya know. Like I remember the fact that we barely just finished school. So now like the whole married and kids thing is weird."

"Yeah," He says chuckling lightly, "like now I'm working as a TA to Sprout."

"Thats wild," I say to him, "we are getting so old."

"Yeah is that a gray hair I see?"

"Funny funny - oh man Neville your wrinkles are pretty wild today."

He and I both chuckle lightly. 

"Listen I just came to pick up chocolates for a date but I'll see you around," He tells me.

"Yeah I'll see ya Neville," I say waving. As he walks off Teddy runs to me with the rest of his candy. "Alright cutie lets go." I move scooping Teddy up into my arms. He giggles as we move to the counter. After checking out we move over to the Joke Shop were George was in a deep conversation with Angie. Lee moves towards me. 

"Well if it isn't baby Lupin," Lee says smiling, "please tell me that you aren't taking him home with all that sugar."

"Nah it's Harry's night," I tell him, "Harry sent Teddy over with a new toy that shoots out fireworks and it woke the babies up so I'm loading Teddy up with sugar. We had ice cream for breakfast."

"You really are a slytherin." I role my eyes lightly. 

"What's up with them?" I ask him. He sighs.

"Oh just the typical pregancy drama," Lee says with a smirk, "Molly found out."

"Oh poor things," I tell him, "she driving them crazy?"

"Absoluetly nutty," Lee replies, "it's in a way funny-"

"It's not funny," Angie says as she moves towards me, "Molly is breathing down my neck about everything."

"That's just Molly," I tell them, "now Teddy you want anything?" 

"Fireworks!" He exclaims. I smirk.

"Well Lee think you can bring me a handful?" I ask him. He nods then moves to grab them. As I move towards the couple Angie smiles at Teddy. 

"Hey Ted. Want a candy?" 

"Yes please!" He says. She hands him the candy and he moves to unwrap it.  "Thank you!"

"No Mikey?" George asks me.

"Nah the boys are all having a daddy-son day," I tell them, "they found some daddy and me group and decided to go which yeah it's as surprising to me as it is to you- who goes to daddy and me?"

"The same person who's catchphrase in school was 'wait til my father hears about this'" George mocks, "he's a loser."

"Hey that loser is my husband so be nice," I tell him, "he's trying and honestly I love that he's trying. Not many guys would do things like this."

"Cause its lame," George says.

"No its sweet," Angie says.

"He's trying to be better than his dad so don't be a dick," I tell him, "now Teddy and I are going to the pet store to go get Niffler food. You guys all good here?"

"Yep," George says, "slow day so we'll manage." I nod. Lee hands me the fireworks. 

"Then I'm going to head out- lets go play with animals Teddy." He beams as I wave to the trio. Teddy squeals a goodbye as we move out the door.  Once we get to the pet shop he points over to the cats. We move to play with them, then over to the owls, the frogs. Such and such. Soon time for lunch with Harry is upon us so we leave to meet him at a restaurant. 

"Okay Teddy this is a muggle place," I say softly, "so keep the brown hair for now okay?" He nods. "I hate to make you do this but you know the ministry." 

"Ministry?" Harry asks as he approaches us, "since when do you care about them?"

"Since I work for them," I say chuckling lightly, "not in the mood to lose my job ya know." He chuckles. "Ready for lunch?"

"Yeah," he says softly. As we move into the diner and take a booth in the back Teddy settles in the side beside me. "You good over there Teddy?"

"Yep!" 

The waitress moves to the edge of the table smiling at us.

"Oh aren't you guys the cutest little family," She says smiling at us, "you have the most adorable son." I look over to Teddy to see he's shifted his features to look like Harry and I. 

"Oh actually-"

"Thanks," Harry says at once, "he is adorable isn't he."

"How old is he?"

"3 but he turns four in April," I tell her. She looks between us.

"He's so big! You had him young?" She asks us.

"Yeah she was 18 and I was 17," Harry says keeping up the lie, "just out of school ya know." I nod along. The waitress nods. 

"And look at you now- wedding rings so your married?" She asks, "how cute. High school sweethearts?"

"Yeah we started dating in at 13," Harry tells her, "married a little after we had our son." 

"Awe well congrats. You guys ready to order?" 

We give our food orders to her and she moves off. Harry looks to me smirking widely. 

"Look at our son." I roll my eyes at him.

"So are you my mom now?" Teddy asks me. I freeze lightly. 

"No Teddy I'm still your godmother," I tell him, "and Harry's your godfather."

"Yeah but since I don't have a mommy or daddy then doesn't that make you guys my mommy and daddy?" He asks me.

Oh god right here? Now?

"Well not really Teddy I mean we do love you but you had parents who loved you very very much," I tell him, "they cared about you so much."

"Why can't I remember them?" He asks. The words shatter my heart.

"Ted they died when you were really young," I tell him, "they were fighting really bad people." 

"Y/n and I both lost parents when we were young and it's hard but our parents really loved us and yours loved you," Harry tells him. Teddy looks up at us.

"I don't understand," 

"You won't for a while," I tell him, "it's a hard concept. But just know that we love you and we are here." He nods. I move pulling him into a hug. "I love you little guy."

"I love you too Y/n," He replies resting his head on my side. The waitress moves setting down the food. Teddy gets the large chocolate and whipped cream covered pancakes and starts at them immediately. 

"Oh he's going to be so hyper when I get him home," Harry says tensely, "great."

"Oh yeah? Hmm that sucks," I say smirking at him, "Teddy what did you have for breakfast?"

"Ice cream sundaes!" He says excitedly. Harry looks at me in horror.

"Oh come on hubby you still love me right?"

"You bitch-"

"Bitch!" Teddy echos.

"Edward Lupin no!" I exclaim, "no we don't say that."

"Bitch! Bitch! Bitch!" Teddy yells cheerfully. I look to Harry with a harsh glare.

"Merlin's sake Harry," I say to him, "look at what you did dumb ass."

"Bitch!"

"Andromeda is going to kill me"

"As she should!" I exclaim, "yeah good luck with that." I move pecking Teddy's forehead. "Bye Teddy have fun at Harry's."

"You can't leave him with me like this," Harry says, "that's cruel."

"You killed voldmort I think you can handle this one."

"I can't!"

"That really sucks Chosen One!"

"Y/n Malfoy if you leave I'll never forgive you-"

"Thats a shame. Well I'm sure you'll be fine."

Teddy almost burnt down his house but man was it really funny to see him in pure panic mode. 10/10 no regrets.
