I look over my muggle outfit once again. Sure Draco and I have immersed ourselves in Muggle culture since leaving Hogwarts but we still dress like wizards for the most part. Meaning that to not stand out against the muggles we have to triple check our outfits. I brush down my jeans deciding that I am fine. 

    "Babe," Draco says as he wraps his arms around my waist. His hand moves over my tiny baby bump. "Can you please help me with my hair again." I nod pulling back. We move to the bathroom and I start at his hair. Trying to walk him through how I do it so he can actually do his own hair. Of course he assures me he'll try but he just likes when I do it. 

"What happens when the baby is born?" I ask him, "are you going to leave me to style their hair?"

"No I'll learn love I promise," He tells me, "it will be a partnership. We've talked about this." I nod. He wants to do what his father didn't. He wants to be present in his kids life in a good way. He wants to be a great dad. I cup his cheek.

"You'll be a great dad Dray," I tell him, "now go get Teddy from his room while I get everything together." He nods complying to the request. I move gathering everything we need for a day out. Our wands, snacks, everything that you would need to entertain a toddler and hide your magical abilities. 

"Zoo! Zoo!" Teddy chants. I chuckle knowing he doesn't actually understand what was happening but its cute. I pick him up from Draco's side as we finish getting everything together. Finally we decide we can leave. We first apparate to Diagon Alley. 

"Okay so we need to stop at the shop so I can drop off the contracts to George," I tell him as we walk along the side walks, "don't mention the b-a-b-y. Lee and Angelina don't know yet. Alright?" Draco nods. 

"No mentioning it," He says then slightly smirks, "but how long do you want to keep this secret? I mean is having my bab-  b-a-b-y that bad?"

"No and I am so excited to start our family but we have stuff to figure out first," I say to him as we move in. I drop it as we walk into the shop. George smirks wildly as he moves to my side.

"Hows it going mama?" He asks whispering into my ear. I roll my eyes shoving him slightly. He chuckles drawing back. "Well why are you lot here on your day off?" 

"The contracts for the American shop need to be filled out and sent tonight," I tell him. Angelina moves taking them from me. 

"I've got this," She tells me, "We'll have these all filled out." I nod. 

"Well that's all I have for you," I tell them, "we'll be at the zoo."

"The zoo? Why?" Lee asks me as he moves towards us. I chuckle.

"Well I mean none of us have ever been and Teddy has a new obsession with tigers from some book harry got him," I explain to them.

"Its tigers all the time now," Draco says slightly stressed, "I mean all the time. Toddler rambling and all. So we thought we'd take him on our day with him."

"Harry's a bit jealous we got to do it first. But he's not upset about missing the zoo," I tell them. They chuckle remembering Harry's childhood stories about the zoo and Dudley. "Anyways we'll be off!" We exchange our goodbyes as we head off. This time using on of the cars from the ministry. Meaning that we won't be too suspicious. The whole way too the zoo little Teddy was bounces and cheering much to the dismay of the driver. Admittedly it was cute the first six or seven times but a hundred "We are going to the zoo's!" later the whole car was ready to scream. 

"Teddy here have a snack," I say handing him a biscuit. He takes it finally settling down. The other adults look at me thankfully. "So how much longer on this route?"

"About 5 minutes," The driver explains. I nod. I look over to Draco as he scans over his notebook for work. Apparently he doesn't know how to stop working which is amusing considering he was great at it when we were in school.

"Love this is supposed to be a fun thing," I tell him, "not a work thing." He looks up from the papers over to me with a smile.

"I know but I have a report to finish about this case," He explains, "we have to get this in tomorrow and Harry's report was subpar as always." I chuckle at the friendly competition and bickering. Sure he and Harry now are friends but its not like all that competitive spirit went away. Instead it seems to be back at full speed in a good way. "What I mean it was bloody awful. It really shows how much You and Granger did his work back in school. I mean did the fame make him illiterate."

"Dray," I say sternly. He sighs.

"I know but love he is actually barely able to form a sentence," He tells us, "so everything he wrote I have to change it all so our bosses don't rip our heads off." I nod along. To be completely fair a lot of people did the school work for him. I mean he was way too busy being all 'I'm going to save the world'. 

"Fine but once we get to the zoo you aren't allowed to do anything for work," I tell him, "or you are sleeping in the basement tonight." He laughs at the comment but I look at him seriously. "No I mean it Malfoy. I want a good day with all of us and I want you to have a break." He nods.

"Fine I promise once at the zoo I'll stop working and just have fun," He says to me. I smile. He takes my hand pulling to his lips kissing the back of my hand. Godric I love this man so much. The car stops and we get out. I shuffle our things together as Draco takes the toddler. We get to the gate and I gather the tickets and a rented pram. As we pass the gates and move out of the way I look over the pram trying to understand how the hell he's supposed to be put in this bloody thing. 

"Stupid muggles always making the dumbest things," I growl under my breath. Draco chuckles as I finally get Teddy clipped in. I move placing some biscuits on the tray. Finally we can start looking around. The first thing we get to see is the gorillas. I recognize them a little bit from an animal book of Teddy's. 

"What the bloody hell is a gorilla?" Draco asks as he looks at the giant monkey. I chuckle at him as we move closer to the fence. I watch as Dray starts geeking out. He takes Teddy from the pram and then very quickly the two run through everything geeking out. "Look at the birds! Oh merlin these aren't anything we've seen before." Eyes are definitely on us because of his childish self running through the whole thing. I smile giggling slightly at the boys. Finally I can tell Teddy was getting a bit fed up with being out in public. I pull the boy into my arms and he rests his head onto my shoulder falling asleep at once.

"I guess its time to leave," I say to Draco. He nods taking my hand. "This was a good day."

"Really good," He tells me, "I mean I had plenty of fun." I smile at him.

"That much was clear," I sat to him, "maybe we can bring our baby here when they get old enough." He smiles.

"Of course," He says to me, "little baby Zander-"

"Not happening," I say to him, "I know you think the name is cool but really?"

"Its a cool name!" He exclaims, "we'll have one child named Zander if it kills me." We both laugh at the comment. "So when are we going to tell the Weasleys about the baby?"

"Soon," I tell him, "I just really love living in this little bubble." He nods. Its a great day so much happiness and cheerful moments that who would of known the whole feeling of our life at the moment would be derailed by a beetle.
