"Alright Harry the safest way to do this is if you listen to me," I say to him as he holds the brooms in his arms above the Toddlers as they jump for them. He attempts to keep them away from the toddlers. "Are you gonna be okay with that?"

"Honestly not at all," Harry says. I growl lightly under my breath. "Oi don't be such a buzzkill. Y/n I know what I'm doing. I was a quidditch captain too."

"Harry you almost died every single match you played in," I say to him as I fold my arms over my chest. The wind blows my hair lightly as I attempt to hold my serious expression. Harry, Teddy, Victoire, and I were sitting in a field a little bit from my house preparing to teach the toddlers how to fly on their toy brooms. We've been waiting a bit for the January weather to relax on us. Finally as the end of the month neared we got a clear week. Meaning no snow or any weather dangers to teaching the two to fly in a more realistic way. So here we are with their two brooms and mine and Harry's real brooms trying to prepare. 

"I was a great flyer," He says to me. I roll my eyes. "Fine fine I'll listen to you."

"Good," I say to him, "first we want the padding. Helmets, knee pads, elbow pads. The whole lot. Andromeda and Fleur will be pissed if we return them with any broken bones."

"We won't return them with any broken bones because we have Skelegrow," Harry says looking to me. I scoff.

"No we don't!" I exclaim, "and I'm not a healer who is certified to treat that level on injury so Harry please promise me you will be extremely careful."

"Sounds boring," He teases.

"Harry!" I exclaim.

"Fine fine," He says attempting to calm me down, "alright you help Teddy." I nod as the boy runs to me. He holds his orange helmet in his hands bouncing excitedly.

"I wanna fly!" He exclaims, "I wanna fly so I can play quidditch like you and Harry!" I chuckle at the declaration.

"Oh is that so?" I ask him, "well then we'll make sure you get it down. Alright so come here Teddy." I fix all the padding as he moves excitedly. I see his hair turn to the purple color of my hair. I smile lightly. He loves me so much. Which is great because I love him so so much. My little Teddy boy. As I fasten the helmet he starts to fidget more. I realize the this energy is literally bubbling inside him. At least with this we can send him home tired for Andromeda. She needs the break since he has become more and more of a ball of pure energy. 

"I'm gonna be a pro just like you!" He declares. I smile at him. 

"You can be anything you want," I say to him as I boop the tip of his nose. He giggles at the action. I look back over to Harry to see him struggling to adjust Victories' helmet. Right now its titled to the side of her head. I sigh moving to help him. "Harry Potter you are helpless." I kneel beside him adjusting the strap easily.  

"You are kinda a natural as this parent type," Harry says as he looks up at me. I chuckle as I stand. 

"Remember when the tables were turned?" I ask him, "Being alone with Teddy terrified me. Now he's my boy. You made me realize I can do this." He smiles as he stands. 

"Aren't I such a great friend?" He asks me. I punch his arm.

"My best friend you loser," I say to him. He chuckles. "No really when I think about it you were my first ever friend and you and I have always been the closet out of the bunch."

"What do you have a crush on me or something?" He teases. I laugh at the statement.

"You caught me Harry," I joke, "no but really don't mess this up you are my best friend."

"I'd hope so we do have a child together," He says referring to Teddy. I nod.

"Right," I say to him. As I see Teddy and Victoire fawning over the brooms I think to Remus and Tonks. How much they would have loved to be here for this. For any of Teddy's life really. "Do you think they'd be okay with how we are raising him?"

"More than," Harry says, "we are doing well." I nod looking back to the kids. 

"Alright kiddos," I say to them, "get on your brooms. Harry don't let them get over a foot above the ground." He nods. I help Victoire position herself on her broom. We get them hovering. The two look so proud of themselves. "Look at you guys!" I exclaim, "you are doing so well!"

"Higher!" Teddy yells.

"Y/n don't move away," Victoire whimpers. I could tell she was a bit afraid of falling off the broom. I move closer to her.

"I got you Toire," I say to her, "you won't fall I've got you." She nods seeming determined. She grips the broom tightly. I smile at her natural talent. This girl will definitely be able to fly circles around the other kids at school with ease. I can't believe her parents were okay with Harry and I teaching her. I guess since she's so attached to Teddy's hip they thought it would help steady her nerves. Or they just appreciated the free childcare. Regardless I am very excited to be able to. 

"I'm gonna fall!" She whimpers. I place my hands at her sides steadying her. 

"No Toire you've got this sweetheart," I say to her, "you've got this!" She looks around to see her success at flying as I move my hands away. She smiles brightly at the sight of her succeeding. I look over to see Teddy struggling a bit more. Regardless Harry seems to handle the situation well. I look back to Victoire and nod. "Wanna go up a bit higher?" She nods weakly. "Alright Toire I need you to pull the top of the broom up slightly. Just a bit- stop. There you go." She moves up another foot in the air. She settles herself and I smile. "You are a natural Victoire."

"I got it!" She squeals excitedly. 

"No far," Teddy huffs as he watches Torie. He huffs.

"You've got this," Harry says to Teddy, "just steady yourself."

"I don't get it," He says getting frustrated. I exchange a look with Harry. He sighs and attempts to help the toddler attempt to feel better. I look back to Victoire. To be able to make sure this is safe for both of them I have to trust that he can help Teddy. 

"Can I go higher?" Victoire asks me. I nod. She moves the tiniest bit higher. As she hovers over the ground I watch nervously. 

"Teddy no!" I hear Harry yell. I look over to see the toddler zooming in the air. I feel panic move to my core. I pull Victoire off her broom and place her back on the ground. 

"Harry broom now!" I yell. He and I dive onto our brooms as we attempt to catch the kid. In all the panic he suddenly dives down with the broom causing him to crash. "Shit." I jump off my broom pulling the toddler into my arms. He seems to be fine for a couple seconds. Then it seems to hit him all at once as he starts to sob loudly. 

"I think he broke his wrist," He says to me. 

"No shit," I say, "listen you send an owl to Andromeda." I stand still holding the boy. Vic grabs the brooms then moves towards Harry. Harry picks her up and we all apparate to the manor. Once inside my lounge I see Draco reading the prophet boredly. However once he see's us he tosses it aside. 

"What happened?" Draco asks me.

"Teddy crashed lets go we have to get to St. Mungos," I say to them. He moves with us and we move apparating once again. Finally we reappear at the hospital. I move towards the desk holding the screaming toddler. A healer leads us to a room at once. They make Harry and Draco wait outside as I sit with Teddy. I sit beside him feelin absolutely guilty. Maybe if I had stepped in he wouldn't had gotten so frustrated at the situation. Or maybe if I was more serious about the injuries they could get. The healer examines the boy then looks to me.

"It's just a sprain," He says to me then turns back to his counter. He readies a cup of medicine. He waves his wand over it and hands it to Teddy. "Pumpkin juice." The toddler readily takes it. He seems to calm down. The healer looks to me. "He'll be fine in no time. You all can head home. Give him some ice and let him relax." I nod as I scoop the Toddler back into my arms. A sprain? I could of handled that at home. Am I really that scared that I ran here with out even checking him first? Jeez I'm not ready at all. I walk out of the room as Teddy settles into the crook of my neck. He snores lightly. Harry and Draco look at me completely nervous at the boys state. 

"So?" Draco asks as he bounces a worried Victoire.

"Just a sprain in his wrist," I tell them. They sigh in relief. "We all got so worked up for nothing. He's fine." 

"Teddy's okay?" Victoire asks. 

"He's okay they gave him some medicine to make him feel better," I say to her. She nods. I look to the men and sigh. "We should get them home and into a nap." They nod following the instruction. We reach the manor and I put the two up in Teddy's room to take a nap. As they fall asleep us adults move to the kitchen.

"Are you two okay?" Draco asks Harry and I. I sigh.

"Yeah but that scared me half to death," I say to him, "I've never seen him get hurt like that."

"He cried like he was being murdered," Harry says, "it was wild. I've never seen him act like that."

"He's a little kid and there was a lot of shock," Draco explains to us. I nod. Still I feel bad that he got hurt with us. 

"You guys here?" I hear Andromeda yell.

"In the kitchen," Harry calls. Soon she moves towards us with an unreadable look. 

"I'm so so sorry," I start, "its all my fault I should have never looked away-"

"No its my fault I wasn't helping him like I should-"

"Both of you stop," She says to us, "I know you guys don't have your own kids so you don't know this just yet but children are so accident prone. Teddy hurts himself quite a bit. Don't blame yourself."

"That's what I told them," Draco says. I scoff at his cool headedness. Then again I do love him and its good to hear that I'm not a bad godmother.

"He'll be fine," She assures us, "you kids should relax." I nod. "I'll take these kids from you. I'm stopping by Bill's to drop off some baby stuff for them."

"Baby stuff?" Harry asks.

"They asked if I had any of Teddy's baby stuff," She says with a shrug, "no more information. I assumed its for one of Molly's." 

"They are in Teddy's room," I tell her. She nods and moves off leaving us alone. I lean my head on Draco's shoulder as Harry sighs. 

"We have a lot to learn," Harry sighs, "but we need to for his sake."

"I know," I say to Harry, "from now on we need to know how to raise a kid. One with his abilities and energy." 

"I want to learn too," Draco says, "Y/n you are my wife and he is your god child. I want to help you and the kid. Plus he deserves to have all this love in his life."

"Ginny will want to too," Harry says, "so the lot of us will become good god parents for him. We'll raise him how Tonks and Remus would have wanted."

"Of course," I say to him, "we'll do everything we can for him."

It was one promise we all kept to one another. We would always be there for Teddy Lupin for everything he would need. Teddy Lupin would never feel like he didn't have someone there for him. In fact he had a whole army there for him with more love than he could ever imagine. My little Teddy Lupin.
