Run for Freedom

Muffy pov

Run

That's the first thing that crosses my mind when I hear those stupid sirens. Oh and well shit is to it's more like shit! Run!
Anyway I'm going off subject. Right now I'm running for my life. In case you haven't realized that yet.

Let me tell you a bit about myself before I continue, shall I?

My name is Muffy. I don't have a last name. I'm 19 ,I'm 5'3 yes, I know, I'm short.

I'm extremely skinny because those bastards rarely fed me, but I'm in great shape other than that, right size boobs, but sadly, no butt.

I have long almost white blonde hair and green snake eyes. I don't mean to brag but they are jade green. I know, awesome right.

Anyways back to my current situation.

Let me give you a quick summary of my situation, and why I'm currently running for my life.

About a year ago, I was kidnapped by hunters who thought I was a vampire, which I am not! Of course, they didn't believe me, so I went along with them.

I was abused a lot while I was being held captive there. The 'prison' was more like a insane asylum.

The girls were treated worst than the guys. The guys wore gray uniforms that looked like they came from an actual jail.

The girls wore dresses that were oddly fashionable. Not runway fashionable, but not ugly. It was a long black sleeveless corset dress that stopped a bit past the ankles.

We all decided that we had enough of this, so we all secretly planned a way to escape.

We all had planned to escape tonight and we did, but some how they had found out. Im currently running with a vampire/werewolf hybrid.

She is a year younger than me and is mateless. Her name is Cadey. She has dark blonde hair and blue eyes and her skin is pale like most vampires.

She isn't as skinny as me but she has some muscle. She was captured when she was 16.

She was born a rogue, but she is so timid you would think she was harmless, but make her mad and its a whole different story.

"Muffy" I hear her say through pants. I take a quick glance at her and see she look tired. We have been running a few hours nonstop usually it wouldn't affect us but we were so under fed, and had a lot less energy than healthy werewolves.

"Yes?" came my short reply.

"We should take a break." I nod as we slow down to a stop. we are in the forest, it is early in the morning and the sun is finally coming up.

I look at her and see her dress is torn and she has a few cuts on her arms and face, her hair is cut short in a bit of a Justin Bieber cut but has a femnine touch to it so it suites her. I look down and see my dress was torn as well. My hair goes a bit past my butt. It was in a bun so it wouldn't get tangled bad.

"Okay we need to figure out our next move." Cadey states. I nod still trying to catch my breath. "I'm going towards Oklahoma. There is only one pack there so I'm headed that way to... start over." She said the last part a bit to herself.

I nod "I'm going back to Miami see if my little house is still there." Right now we are in Wyoming. "We could go to Oklahoma together then go our separate ways." I suggest. Cadey nods.

Now you may be wondering how we know where we are and everything well, some werewolves are born with a 'map' in their head that can tell us where we are and how to get to our desired place. Another thing is that each state gives of a specific sent. Even though I'm not a werewolf, I still somehow have this power.

"Okay" she said while nodding. "How long do you think it would take us to get there?" She adds looking at me with a raised brow.

I shrug "With our state probably a day." She nods. I lean against a tree to ease my aching feet a little bit. I have no actual shoes. Our shoes are clothe wrapped around our feet. It is a bit chilly seeing as it was November.

Snap!

Cadey and I turn quickly to the sound.

Its a damn hunter.

Damn, how did he get here? We've been running for hours!

He hasn't seen us as he's turn and is about 12 feet from us. We silently bend down I look at Cadey and mouth I got him, but stay close just in case.

She nods as I turn toward the hunter, slowly crawling towards him. Just as I was at him he turns and I lunge. I sink my fangs in his neck. My venom pumps into his blood stream. It would burn him like acid and he would feel it all in about 30 seconds. I let go when he punchs me in the stomach. He grabs his neck where i bit him and glares at me.

"You little bitch!" He screams. He's about to lunge until he freezes. His face twists into one of pain as he falls and starts shaking. "What th-the hell-l did you do to m-me?" He slurs.

He is going to have a bit of a seizure then he would become paralyzed. The spot where i bit him was purple with many veins clearly visible.

I smirk, "oh don't worry you'll have a very painful death," I said like a sweet and innocent child.

His eyes widen. Cadey then steps up and gives a small, not so sweet smile to the man. She then kicks him in the stomach. He moans and I kick him in his Jewels. He sucks in a big breath, well tries, and squeezes his eyes shut.

We grab some things from him as he slowly dies. We leave his gun but take his money and split it a $150 each.

I take a knife and some kind of sword and Cadey took a pocket knife and a bow and the arrows that went with it. Cadey took the knife and cut a slit in her dress from her mid thigh down. I cut mine to a up down dress. The front was at a bit past my knees. "Ready? " Cadey asked. I nodded and we took off.
