Chapter 12

Lose Control

After discussing the details Kat sat up from on the bed. " Well you might not see me for a few days until we leave because I will be spending time with my mate." She smiled and walked out the door. When she left Kitten looked at me. " I'm going to go do the same. " She said. " Muffy?" she paused " Yeah?" I responded.

" I know you think it'll only make it harder for you to leave but..... Don't push them away, be the best damn Luna you could ever be so no matter what they could never replace you,  get to know them, connect with them , love them. They, like us,  are your family. Make them understand ,with out them actually knowing, how you don't want to leave. " She paused. " And don't push Fable away. I know you think it is ganna hurt and it will but you'll regret if all you do is push him away. Hell take advantage of this, do shit you'd never do because we both know after we run. Our lives change, forever on the run, we won't be able to settle somewhere and start a family, we won't get our dream jobs and we will forever feel the pain of running from our mates. So don't you dare push him away. Live this week as like you are not about to run" She finished with a smile and hugged me. I gave her a squeeze to which she returned.

She pulled back " Now I'm ganna go to my mate and get to know the pack I suggest you do the same, I heard most people are here now  because they want to meet you." She jumped up and skipped out of the room. I got up and walked down stairs. I looked around and went to the elevator after taking a deep breath.  I pushed to the bottom floor and then went from there.

I walked out and the house was full of buzzing people. I took a deep breath and let it out. I wasn't a big fan of big crowds. I saw some people look and smile. " Give me it back" I heard a small voice. I turned I saw a little boy around 3 years old. He oddly had blue hair but you could tell it was dyed. His eyes were a bright weird blue that was unbelievably bright. I saw some kids that had a blanket. It was really small smaller than a pillow.  It was also blue. The were laughing while he looked close to tears.

Awwww. I walked over behind the kids. I popped my hip out and crossed my arms tapping my foot. The laughing soon stopped. The boys heads snapped to me. Other than the one with blue hair there were three boys. All looked 4 or 5. One had blonde hair with brown eyes the other had brown with brown eyes and the last one had dark blue eyes with dark brown hair. " Names please " I asked politely. The blonde spoke up " I'm James. " The next said " I'm John John. " The last with dark blue eyes " I'm Malcolm"  I looked at the blue haired blue. He looked down " I'm Cole " I smiled. " Nice hair can I call you blue. ?" I asked. He blushed " Yes ma'am" I gasp and shook my head  " Oh no sir dont call me ma'am I'm not old. " He blushed again " Okay" I then looked at the other boys, " Are you bothering Blue?" I said giving them a knowing look. They raised their eyebrows.

" No-no we aren't" Malcolm stated. The other boys shook their head.  Blue was about to speak but was cut of by a booming voice that sent shivers down my spine.   " I wouldn't lie to your Luna" I looked to Fable and saw him wink at me. I looked at the boys to see their jaws drop. " L-Luna?" The boys stutter in  shock "well of course. "I nodded and winked. James gave the blanket back to Blue and the three boys ran out of the room. Blue looked at me and smiles. " Tank yew! " He said to me. I looked around noticing the pack members looking at me I threw a warm smile at them and received smiles and  bowing of their heads. " I'm so sorry Luna, Ill take Cole back to the other orphaned children " A  women around her late thirties  said starting to pick Cole up.  My snake suddenly started to stir.

" Mommy!" Blue said his blue eyes pleading me and his arms stretched towards me. I don't know what set her off but I felt Flare take full control of my body. My fangs grew and  my pupils turned onto slits, like a snakes pupil. My skin got a bit scaley. I hissed " Give me my ssson!" Flare hissed. I tried to pull her back but to no avail.

Lets just say Flare is very aggressive. The lady bowed her head and whimpered as she put Cole down. Everybody else backed away and bowed their heads. All except Fable who looked at me with pride. Cole ran to me his arms up. " Mommy!" Flare quickly picked him up and hugged him to my chest. She hissed but it was in a calming tone. While she was busy I took control.

Finally getting control, my body went back to normal. I looked towards the woman putting Cole down and stepped towards her. " I'm so sorry my snake was way out of line, I don't know what came over her. " I said to the brown haired lady. She smiled understanding in her eyes. " Its fine Luna, I'm Katherine " she said putting her hand out for me to shake.  I took it " I'm Muffy " She smiled before bowing her head and going to talk to some girls behind her. I looked down and saw Cole hanging on my leg. I smiled picking him up. " Mommy!" Cole giggled he laid his head on my chest as he held his blanket. I chuckled holding him close. I looked at Fable who looked at me with pride.

He walked up to me and wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me to. " So who is his daddy" He asked. Cole looked up at me with hope shining in his eyes. " I get a daddy too?" He asked hopefully. Kitten's words from earlier ran through my mind. I looked at Cole and pointed to Fable " That's your daddy" I said smiling. He giggled. I looked at Fable and saw a huge smile on his face looking at me and Cole.

I put Cole down and walked to the kitchen greeting people on my way. I loved this. I loved this pack, I loved being in this pack, I love having a mate and I actually love being Luna.

I Hope this week goes slow.

Really slow.
