The diagon alley was filled with people.All witches and wizards who were doing last minute shopping hurried to buy gifts and decorations.Sometimes,even witches and wizards are procrastinators.How can they have all shopping in the last minute when Christmas is around the corner?That is,just two days!

One pair amongst the crowd was the changed sly Slytherin prince with his brave Gryffindor princess.Both of them had been so worked up in finding love in each other that they had totally forgotten to shop for their near and dear ones!!

So unlike Hermione who did everthing before hand.

They had been shopping for two hours for the perfect gifts.They walked pushing the crowd while their shopping bags flew,following them.Draco was shocked when Hermione made the bags fly(he was not shocked for this.After all,this was just Wingardium Leviosa.)and she had also put a charm on it so that it wouldn't be stolen and the bags would follow them wherever they went.(Draco was shocked at this.)

Hermione entered the Leaky Cauldron and sat on the chair,dead tired.Draco ordered two butterbeers while they went through the list again.Hermione took out a parchment and started checking while Draco listened.

"A new self knitting needle with endless yarn for Mrs Weasley...Check.

An electronic razor toothbrush for Mr Weasley.....Have to get it in muggle London."

Draco chocked on his butterbeer.

"What?What is that and why such a queer gift for red head's dad?"he asked,amused.

Hermione smiled."It's a muggle thing and Mr Weasley loves collecting muggle things.Thought this would complete his collection...he said so"she said,sipping her butterbeer.

"So....a bottomless fire proof bag for storing dragons and their eggs for Charlie.....check.

A book on the new charms for protecting galleons and other valuables for Bill....Check."

Draco chocked again."What?"he asked.

"Bill works in Gringotts.This book was just released and i got the first edition for him.It will be of great use,I'm sure."she said,withan air of confidence.Draco smirked.

"So...A file with never ending parchments for Percy....Check.

A whole new set of joke box for George....Check.

A muggle make up kit for Ginny.....Have to get in muggle London.

New quill and ink bottle for Angelina.....Check.

A box of all goodies and latest chocolates and a Remembrall for Ron...check."

Draco laughed at the last one.He knew she would get red head such a gift.

Hermione sipped her butterbeer again.

"A voucher for a free makeover from Magical Maidens for Fleur...Check.

A small broom for Teddy....Check.

A vase with flowers that the user wishes for Victorie.....Check.

And at last... a Fire bolt three,latest version with special broom cleaning set for Harry."she ended.

Draco was shocked."What?!The latest firebolt model?That woyld have cost you a fortune!"he said.

Hermione flashed one of her witty,kind smiles."Nothing is greater than the happiness of my friends.Money is nothing compared to all of you."she said.Draco was beyond happy.

He looked into her warm chocolate brown eyes like there was nothing more beautiful at the moment.He cupped her face into his hands and leaned forward.Her warm face in his cold hands was soothing.Hermione was looking mesmerized into his stormy silver eyes.She saw the love,passion,warmth or whatever you term it in his kind eyes.

Soon,their lips met,sending electric sparks into both of them.The warm feeling in both their guts was impossible to ignore.His experienced tongue explored her mouth like there was no tomorrow.Hermione could feel the taste of pure snow and moonlight in his mouth.She felt like the first time she kissed him.Always the same warmth and a new feel.Never bored at all.

After a few minutes of bliss,they had to break away to catch their breath.Draco laughed."So sad that we have to breakaway from a blissful kiss to just breath"he said.Hermione laughed."If you never broke away,then how would you remember to do other works,love?"she asked showing her parchment.

They paid and she dragged him out of Leaky Cauldron and in the corner,they apparated.

Draco found himself in front of a big shop on whose window were stylish attire.Draco transported the bags to Hermione's house.Hermione dragged Draco in."I want you to help me select a dress for the Christmas dinner at the burrow."she said.Draco chuckled."You know what,even if you go in you night gown,you will look sexy."he said,as a bright blush passed Hermione's face.She pushed him away and went to the sales girl to tell her need.

While Draco sat on the couch opposite to the trial room,Hermione picked a few gowns she liked and tried them out one by one and showd Draco.He was totally smiling all the time like an idiot.He knew that whatever she wore,she looked stunning and hot.Her body adapted to all the dresses she wore.

He was totally taken off guard when she came out wearing a deep red frock that was knee length with a golden ribbon in the waist with a big white flower in the front.The neckline was decent with sequins and stones.

Draco let out a whistle that echoed in the shop,grabbing the attention of all the sales girls and manager.Hermione herself liked the dress very much.She picked it and asked Draco to pick a suit for himself.

"Why?I have enough suits"he said with a wink.

"I insist.A pre present.Ma'am,can you help him shoose for his size?Draco,I'll just get Mr Weasley's and Ginny's gift and I'll be back in a few minutes."she said and left the shop.After going to a secluded area,she apparated to Hogsmead.There she went into "Mr McCartney's magical presents."

When she went in,she found an old man in he desk.She went to him.

"Um..Mr McCartney,I'm Hermione Granger.I had placed an order a month back.Is it ready?"she asked kindly.

The old man smiled as he went inside the shop.He came back after a few minutes with a blue box.She opened it and gasped.She knew that it would be a perfect gift for Draco.The old man handed another box.She thanked him and placed the payment on the desk.The old man pushed it back.

Hermione was puzzled.

"Your gift and the way you explained how it should be made me realise how much you love this man Draco.He is indeed a lucky man to get a girl like you.I enjoyed making this present.It is painful for me to take money for this.Please accept it."

Hermione was really pleased.As she turned to open the door,the man said,

"Merry Christmas,Miss"

She smiled warmly.

"Merry Christmas,Mr McCartney!!"

She got both the gifts and rushed to meet Draco.The uneasy look on Draco's face changed into an enjoyable one on seeing Hermione.As she sat on the couch,she saw how the sales girl's hands were all over Draco's chest,in the name of taking measurements.Hermione was pissed off.The girl had a seducive smile on her face.

And Draco's face showed enjoyment rather than disgust.Hermione's jaw opened.The girl got the perfect coat,shirt and pant.While Hermione went to pay the bill,the manager stopped her.

"Madam,your husband has already paid the bill."

She turned to see Draco with a cocky grin.While going out,they heard the scream of a girl.The girl who had taken Draco's measurements had boogey all over her face and dress.Hermione let out a smile of contentment."She deserves my punishment"she said,with an evil smile.

"You seemed to be enjoying that...girl(ahem) all over you!"said Hermione."Well,i did that to see your annoying look.It was priceless.

"And the manager thought you were my husband."said Hermione."Well,i don't think so,girlfriend."said Draco.

Both of them laughed and apparated to Hermione's house.It was a flat but still comfortable.Draco had agreed to stay with her during the chrismas week.Both had their dinner and went to bed.

Draco slept on Hermione's bed,Hermione was cuddled up in Draco's chest.Draco had his strong,protective arms around Hermione.

Both looked peaceful.The way they had renounced the blood prejudices and called a truce and became friends that had ended up in the blossoming of the feelings they had for each other was an interesting tale....
