Short crust pastry
INGREDIENTS:
Flour 500g
Butter 250g
Salt pinch
Cold water 1cup
METHOD:
Sieve the flour into a clean bowl
Add pinch of salt and rub in the butter to a Sandy texture
Make a well in the center,add water and gently mix into a pastry
Place on a floured table and gently smooth it
Return it to the bowl and allow to rest in the refrigerator
Use for meat pie,chin chin,butter bread e.t.c.
