Red velvet cake

INGREDIENTS:
Sugar 250g
Butter 133g
Egg 2pieces
Butter milk 1cup
White venigar 2table spoon
Vanilla essence 1teaspoon
Cocoa 2table spoon
Bio carbonate of soda 1table spoon
Food colour

METHOD:
In a suitable bowl,combine the soften water and sugar

Mix well until they are combined
Add the first egg and mix completely,then add the second egg

Add 1table spoon of vanilla essence

In a separate bowl,add 2table spoons of cocoa powder to the flour and mix

If using food colour mix half table spoon for 2table spoon

Make sure the powder is fully dissolved.You can also use liquid food colour but red in colour

To make butter milk add:
-1table spoon of lemon juice/venigar
-240ml of fresh milk,and wait for 10mins for the milk to thick

Mix butter milk with the food colour in a cup

Add the flour in two separate batches

Mix well before adding the second batch top mixing when all flour is dissolved

Mix one teaspoon of venigar as this will make the cake rise

Mix in small cup and as it freezes out quickly add the cake mixture

Quickly fold into a cake batter

Pour into a prepared tin,the tin should be greased and lined with a grease proof paper,just on the bottom cake in a pre-heated oven for 40-45mins of baking

Cake is ready and allow to cool completely
