Sebastian smythe was currently in the music store he regularly frequented since becoming warbler captain.

While there were several music stores in westerville not far from dalton he prefered this small store in the heart of lima and the reason was nothing to do with the music.

It was because this was the store that rachel berry often came too and Sebastian came here hoping to see her.

Nobody knew that he had the biggest crush on her or that he hoped that one day she would be his.

As he stood browsing through a selection of elton john music books he heard the book of the store open and he looked up and a smile curled his lips as he saw her walk in.

He watched as she walked down an aisle and debated about whether to wait where he was or go up to her.

Being Sebastian smythe and being extremely confident he opted for the latter and placed the song book he had been holding back where it belonged and walked over to her.

She was in a world of her own looking at a book he was aware that if he spoke now she would probably jump.

" hello " he said making her jump he chuckled at her looking flustered.

" what are you doing here i would have thought this little lima store would be beneath you" she said he smiled at her.

" actually this store has a very special place in my heart" he said

" oh" she said

"Are you curious to what that might be" he asked

" no not really "she said defiantly causing him to chuckle.

" really Broadway your not even a little bit curious" he asked

" i know why your here" she said he looked at her.

" you do" he asked

" yes its obvious your trying to find out what song books i check out so you can steal our set list" she said.

" wrong" he said

" look im busy i dont have time for this" she said walking away but he followed her.

"Will you go away" she asked.

" we both know you dont mean that" he said.

" your annoying do you know that" she said turning to face him.

" yeah people have said that before but i wish you hadnt" he said

"What" she asked

" well its not something you want to hear your girlfriend say is it" he said.

" girlfriend "she said looking at him like he had lost his mind.

" yes girlfriend That is why im here in the music store because its the only place you go without that irritating bizarre dressed betty white" he said.

" look if your trying to play me it wont work " she said

" oh believe me rachel this is no game i want you" he said and he saw the faint blush on her cheeks that gave him

" if you think after everything thwt you have done..." she started to say but cut her off by kissing her she pushed him away and slapped him across his face.

"Ooh feisty i like it"he said

" look whatever your trying to do just stop it"she said.

" give me a kiss" he said

"What" she said

" give mr a kiss" he said

"No" she said

"Give me a kiss and i will leave you alone"  he said.

" no" she said

"So you want me to stay here" he said smirking at her.

" im leaving" she said but he reached and grabbed her arm stopping her.

" rachel if you didnt like me you wouldnt be so flustered i promise this isnt a game i never have really done the whole relationship thing before. Your different i want you in a way i havent wanted anyone before please give me a chance" he said

" i have been hurt before" she said

" i know that and i want to heal you " he said and reached up amd stroked her face before leaning in and kissing her. His heart sang as she started to kiss him back.

" so does this mean i have a chance" he asked as hey broke the kiss.

" yes but if you upset me i will slap you again" she said

" ooh kinky i like it" he said and she blushed deeply.

" so how about we go get a coffee i know a great place and no its not the lima bean i might be a confident guy but even i dont like an audience when im on a date" he said

" ok" she said and he smiled at her.

She was going to give him a chance and he felt like he would burst with happiness.
