Normally his voice was monotone no matter what was happening, the most you would get normally would be a slight undertone of emotion, not a full tone change.

"Are you okay?" Nex asked instead of answering, quickly getting up from his bed and moving towards Acid.

He placed the back of his hand on his forehead making Acid laugh.
