This story is a very very slow story. As in the romance won't happen instantly due to how I want to show a more realistic approach in order to build tension and more familiarity between the two characters.

There's going to be times where either characters are going to be in various forms of relationships with different people within the journey and that's okay. In life we all go through different experiences with people before finding the one for us, so they will learn a lot about themselves along the way with those around them before coming together. Just pointing that out before any doubt comes to when thinking 'I thought this was a Taekook story?' You know what I mean?

I like taking my time with character developments so it's one of those case with this story too, especially with the environment they live in.

Oh and to add on here, there will be heterosexual relationships involved. I know many of you aren't comfortable about that but just keep in mind that it'll be very important for the main characters.

Jeongguk trembles to the madman's wild eyes bleeding into his like chaotic blazes of lasers, forcing daggering shivers of horror to fill the young intern's body with hysteria - trapped by the hand choking his neck down to the ground.

And having a knife dancing in delicate waltz alongside his cheek.

Holding back his tears, Jeongguk tries to look anywhere but his face, "D-Don't hurt me."

A dry chuckle caresses his ears, rattling the atmosphere with an ominous sensation to strum the air, feeling the knife digging deeper on his milky skin that provoked a shriek out of his lips.

The man giggle adoringly to his squirm, croaking his head to the side by his innocent eyes staring into his.

Pleading to not hurt him.

Oh how familiar he is to eyes like his.

Way too familiar.

"Aw, you believe them, don't ya?" Taehyung mocks, leaning to his face with a nose gliding the side of the young man's face, "What if I told you I was innocent and didn't kill all those people, would you believe me?"

Kim Taehyung, a feared and horrifying criminal, who has allegedly killed ten families, hundreds of men and set an orphanage on fire, was sentenced to death for his crimes in 1932. However, he ended up becoming a psychological and sociological experiment to study on human behavior as to why people become like him - Murderers - or psychopaths.

Not having the sufficient test advancements during that time, he was put to cryogenic freezing in hopes by 2030, scientists will be able to "reverse" his condition and make him 'normal' as a proof to science that it can be cured or irreversible.

It's 2022.

He's awaken eight years earlier.

By accident.

Jeongguk's accident.

Releasing a monster from its sleep.

"No," Jeongguk shutters, closing his eyes, "Because you wouldn't be holding me with a knife if you were innocent."

Taehyung's smile stretched sickly wide, hiccupping giggles to this, "You're like them haha, like all of them! You're the real monsters, and I am the puppet! How does that sound!"

Jeongguk winces to his brutal scream, trying not to cry to how the man laughs again and leans back, staring into his teary eyes.

"I'm the puppet," He repeats, softer now with a cynical smile, "Who do you want me to kill this time master?"
