Hi and hello, it's been a while since I've done a spam/update post so I thought I would dump all my thoughts in one spot!! for your reading pleasure!!

I. my au/oneshot book is soon to be published!! I have lots of extra scenes that I've had to cut from stuff for various reasons as well as ideas for alternate timelines where *major events* are changed to just explore what that might look like.  I thought it would be nice to have it all in one spot and also public so it isn't just collecting dust in ye olde drafts 🧍.  The only thing that is currently in the way is a cover, because I made one a while ago but I decided it no longer vibes and will instead live here in exile:

so long story short: soon.

ii. no I didn't forget about green light. I just have no idea how to harness inspiration for that fic, but if I know myself at all I know that the kenobi show is about to do something to me 🥵 so hopefully that inspiration problem fixes itself.

iii. I'm actually pumped to start updating Infamous.  After I changed Cora's characterization and role in the story, I found that I have a LOT more fun things I can do with the plot.  My printmaking prof let us watch ESB during class a few weeks ago and the whole time my brain was just: zooming with new ideas so yes!! that will be happening soon.

iv. what I am not pumped for is the next chapter of phoenix for the dumbest of reasons.  When I rewrote it, I had a handful of chapters that I ended up cutting/migrating so there were those same number of chapters that already had reads/votes that were attatched to them.  I've been just moving the 'out of ashes' chapters over and into those spots (if that makes any sense 💀).  The next update will be the first chapter that is fresh and new so I will ACTUALLY have a good idea of who is still reading and interacting w phoenix which is just a tiny bit scary.  but life goes on 🤩

v. the end of the semester is actually the bane of my existence.  Lots of stuff due, I don't know what I'll be doing this summer because I got rejected from a research project position w my favorite prof (big sad), my artwork was critiqued as 'cliché' twice yesterday, and I am simply tired.  Writing is a nice lil stress reliever for me, but if I for some reason dip out of wp for a week, you know why!!
