CHAPTER-31
Taehyung fixed his hospital clothes and looked at the entrance of the hospital through which he was brought in.
If Namjoon's information is right then he would bump into Mr. Jeon. All he needs to do is to place the tracker over him and run away.
The rest of the job will be done by Hoseok. He thought.
Once he spotted the man with his bodyguards, his eyes shone brightly. Clutching onto the bandaged wound over his abdomen and he stepped ahead with full effort. He swayed a few times but stabilized himself as he kept running over
Once he was close to the man, he lunged himself over him and pressed the small device over the said man's belt.
"What the"
"I am sorry," Taehyung mumbled shortly before limping his way out.
"How dare he-" Mr. Jeon's bodyguard was about to pull his gun.
"Let him be! I am in a good mood today. Let's not ruin it by killing a mere patient," Mr. Jeon ordered and signaled his men to back off. He unbuttoned his coat and threw it over one of his guard's faces.
"Dump this! It's filthy." With that, Me Jeon walked into the hospital.
On the other hand, Taehyung inhaled sharply and tugged his abdomen tight as he ran over the streets.
He let go of the wound and decided to learn how to bear the pain.
Because he would be exposed to wounds crueler than this in the future.
He wasn't a mere prisoner locked behind the bars for a crime he hadn't committed.
He was a man of words.
He had promised Eglan and Tyne to return.
He was done suffering by something that wasn't his fault.
His men need him to accomplish the plans and Taehyung swore his life for those men and would do anything to rip the bitch that harmed them.
It wasn't an act of simple revenge.
It was a war!
You are so dead, Mr.Jeon! Taehyung smirked as he picked his pace.

"What's your order, sir?" The bartender asked as he mixed different drinks in his hands with a unique skill that left people in awe.
"You~" The man replied.
The bartender abruptly stopped his actions causing the two precious glasses to collide with the floor.
Thankfully, the sound blasting through the speakers inside the club was too high for anyone to notice the glasses shatter over the floor.
"Who...?" The bartender asked and stepped back to run away any moment.
"Grim reaper, baby!" With that, the male pressed his hand against the counter table and jumped over to the side where the bartender stood.
The stranger shifted the toothpick between his lips and smirked as he took off the hoodie to reveal himself to the bartender.
Tousled brown hair tied up in a messy man-bun with a scar over his right eyebrow. A shiny ear piercing hung down his left ear.
But his attire didn't match the vibe of badass that he was trying to portray.
He was wearing hospital clothes...?
The bartender shrugged his head to earth back to reality and retreated when the hot stranger kept advancing in his direction.
"Are you... Jebb? The Jebb that Eglan speaks so highly of?" The bartender stuttered.
"So you do know that I exist?" The stranger chuckled and instantly put up a cold expression as he leaned over the latter's face.
"H...how did you escape the prison? Did... Major escape too?" The bartender gasped as Taehyung gripped his wrist which was trying to approach Taehyung's shoulder.
"You don't get to ask the questions, Hoseok!" Taehyung growled and pushed the male against the wine stand behind him.
It was a large wooden cupboard with all sorts of alcohols arranged according to taste preference. Thankfully, the force wasn't large enough to make the cupboard fall.
"I...can explain," Hoseok visibly shuddered and his face turned pale the moment Taehyung placed a cutter against his throat.
"What makes you think I would let you live?" Taehyung asked, pressing the knife close to his neck.
"The fact that I and Major were a victim too?"
"Give me something new, Hobi. Don't be an old ass," Taehyung interrupted, uninterested in Hosoek's offer.
"I know where Jimin is," Hoseok tried, his eyes welling up in tears with the realization that he might not live after this.
Taehyung tilted his head to the side to note the expressions of Hoseok. He narrowed his eyes to watch every little detail of the expressions that molded so differently with every passing minute.
Hoseok is scared.
He is anxious.
He is terrified.
He is losing hope.
He is...crying.
Taehyung clicked his tongue and stepped back and pushed the knife back into the holster of his waist.
"Fine. I let you live." Taehyung announced and pushed a photo against Hoseok's chest.
"W... what's this?" Hoseok asked in fear as he took a better look at the person in the photo.
"I need you to listen to every word that old-ass blurts. His tracker number is written behind the photo. Major said you know to hack. So, do it for us." Taehyung informed and felt a hand over his elbow.
"Ho...how is Major? Hoseok asked timidly.
"You have no right to ask me that when you are the reason he pulled us into this shit." Taehyung spat.
"I know," Tears trickled down his cheeks but he was unwilling to let go of Taehyung's hand, "I know I have no right but could you just tell me if he is okay? I won't trouble you after that. Please?" Hoseok dropped to his knees with choked sobs leaving his parted lips.
Taehyung gritted his teeth and forcefully pulled out his hand out of Hoseok's grip, "You don't get to cry, Hoseok! You don't get to feel anything! You are still the boyfriend of the greedy motherfucker who tried to trade us for his freedom. Jimin might have forgotten for staying so long with you but I haven't and I would never forgive you," he yelled slipping back and hitting the wooden counter.
Hoseok pulled his knees closer to his chest with tears gushing out of his cheeks. He chanted the apology multiple times but Taehyung sat there lifelessly staring at the floor.
Taehyung's thoughts were running wild.
What had he become?
What was the purpose of all this?
With every person he meets from his past, the scars were just turning more fresh and gruesome.
How is Eglan holding everyone without being stabbed by their pasts?
Taehyung inhaled sharply before exhaling shortly. He looked up at the male who was rubbing his hands together and apologizing consistently, "Hoseok."
"Huh?" Hoseok asked with tear-stained cheeks shining through the lights of the club.
"What would you do if I say I killed Major in the prison?"
Hoseok's heart dropped at the question. His head stopped processing anything around him.
He gulped and stretched his arm to hold onto Taehyung's ankle which was the closest he could reach in his paralyzed state.
"No, you wouldn't."
"How are you so sure?" Taehyung frowned.
"Because he won't let you." Hoseok's answer somehow made Taehyung curious.
"Who is he to stop me?"
"Because he knows the fate of killing someone. He would never let you experience that suffering. Even if you wanted to kill him, he wouldn't have you do the deed." Hoseok said.
Taehyung scoffed, "You have a high expectations from him, Hoseok."
"No! That's the least expectation."
"Whatever," Taehyung rolled his eyes and Hoseok broke into a soft smile.
"What's so funny?" Taehyung asked with a frown on his lips.
"You are so similar to Jimin."
"I am...not a sacrificial lamb like Jimin plus he is way too...naive," Taehyung quickly justified.
"He tried to kill me too but stopped midway. You spent two years with Yoongi in the prison and still didn't kill him. What makes you any different?" Hoseok asked and Taehyung couldn't answer.
You wouldn't want to scream and let the other men see you like this. Do you? The guard smirked.
Please, let me go! Yoongi struggled to pull himself out of the guard's clutches.
Let him go, bastard! Taehyung growled as he placed the gun over the man's head.
No, don't kill him, Jebb! Yoongi screamed.
He deserves to die. Taehyung's eyes turned red.
I won't let you regret it as I did. Let go of the gun, Jebb! Maybe I deserved this. Maybe it was my fate for turning your lives into hell. Yoongi's eyes brimmed with tears.
Nobody deserves this! Taehyung lunged over the guard and punched his face multiple times before the other guards came to free them.
"Major is an ass! I didn't feel like killing him," Taehyung mumbled and quickly averted his gaze.
"Thank you for not killing him." Hoseok stepped closer to hold Taehyung's hand.
"Where is... Jimin?" Taehyung quickly changed the topic because he was turning ...soft and this isn't like him.
"Huh?"
"You said that you knew Jimin's location. So, where is he?" Taehyung asked again.
Hoseok nodded and pulled his phone out of his pocket, "Mr. Bang met me yesterday and gave me this phone. He said Jimin would contact me soon. I am waiting for it too."
"So, you don't know where he is-"
"That's what I thought until I saw this." Hoseok flashed an article to Taehyung.
"Jungkook was reported to have a girlfriend at the party. I assume that the person in the picture is Jimin and it was their way to reach out to you, Taehyung. " Hoseok explained.
"So, he is with Jungkook." Taehyung sighed in relief.
"Yes, and you can meet Jungkook at the bar. I will give you the address to the place." Hoseok chimed and Taehyung waited eagerly for Hoseok to write the address on a piece of paper.
"You know I can't read. Right?" Taehyung asked.
"I know," Hoseok pulled out a few green notes and placed them in his hand, "Take a taxi and give him this paper. He will take you there." Hoseok instructed.
"I don't know how to thank-"
"Consider this as my apology for separating you guys and don't lose hope till the end," He patted Taehyung's arm, "Also, I will look into Mr. Jeon through the tracker. If I get more clues, I will inform Eglan who can step up with the mission. And-" Hoseok found himself talking alone as Taehyung had already fled the place with the address in his hands.

"Jimin!" Jungkook called out and the blue-haired male turned around. They stood in the middle of the hallway of the huge mansion with Jimin still dressed like a woman.
Eglan's mansion to be specific.
"Yes?" Jimin turned around with arms crossed over his chest and waited for the male to continue.
Oh right! He is pretending.
We are supposed to pretend to be strangers.
There could be cameras around the house.
They need to be careful. Jungkook thought.
"Um, what would you like to have for dinner?" Jungkook asked unsure of how to keep up with the conversation.
This is awkward.
Way too awkward.
If he could, he would just pull the tiny male in his arms and kiss him till they lose their breath-
Control, Jungkook! He shrugged his thoughts and walked closer.
"I am not sure. Is there anything specific you are craving for Mr. Jungkook?" Jimin teased.
You! Jungkook screamed in his head.
"Um, how about crab curry and rice? It's been long since I had that from your hands." Jungkook loosened his tie and gulped as Jimin circled his arms around him.
"What...are you doing? Didn't you say this is risky? There could be cameras." Jungkook gulped as his hands subconsciously rested over the male's waist.
I don't have much time with you, Kook.
Viper would be on his way to fetch me.
Major would come in search of me. Jimin shook his head to dissolve the thoughts.
"I still haven't changed my clothes. And even if they are hidden cameras. It would simply give them a good trustable headline. Don't you think?" Jimin justified and tried to kiss Jungkook.
"But I don't want to," Jungkook answered.
"Hmm?"
"I want to kiss you, Jimin. I want to cherish every touch and intimate moment we share. I am indeed holding back from showing my love to you but there is a reason for it. I want it to be genuine, Jimin. I ain't doing it for the cameras. I ain't bargaining our love for the mission. I won't let you regret loving me, Tyne." Jungkook smiled as he bit the male's cheek before letting it go. He gave a small peck over the same spot before leaning back, "I love you, Jimin."
"How did you turn so mature, baby?" Jimin smiled and ruffled his hair.
"I told you I am not a baby. I am a man!" Jungkook puffed his chest and Jimin broke into giggles before smacking Jungkook's chest.
What did I do to deserve your love, Eglan?
Jimin smiled wide at Jungkook who was blabbering consistently about something Jimin could care less and all he could focus on was the hands on his hips that held him securely within their grip.
A/n:- How does everyone turn so soft when it comes to Hoseok? Neither Jimin nor Taehyung could kill him.
Taehyung has successfully placed the tracker on Mr Jeon. Now, it's Hoseok turn to gain the info since he is a hacker.
Taehyung is this close to meeting his lovers.
Up for some threesome love?
Also, where is Major?
And every time Taehyung met someone from his past. He always acted harshly. He couldn't hold back the urge to kill everyone that hurt them.
How did Eglan hold back so much for so long?
Is that why everyone is rooting for him?
Because he is the 'change' that everyone needs.
Is he fit to be the real big boss to lead the mission Smoke Rings?
HOPE YOU LIKED THE CHAPTER.
LOVE YOU, KIDS.
MADDIE 🙂❤️
