Micky lived a relatively normal life. He was seventeen, an only child, and, just like every other teenager, was looking forward to the day he could graduate and leave high school behind forever.

He was a bright kid too. He had straight As, was on honor roll for all four years of high school, and was planning to attend college to study architecture. A few people made fun of his studious ways, but he had a few close friends. He kept to himself a lot and loved music and photography—they were a few secret hobbies that only his family and closest friends knew about.
