Chapter Six: Something With Snart

The fake Arrow grabbed an arrow and aimed, shooting it at us, fortunately missing. Mick immediately pulled out his heat gun and began shooting fire at the man. Fake Arrow ducked, shooting a zip line/grapple arrow at a building and swinging towards us.

"Get back!" Rip shouted and we all ran separate directions, me running with Rip and Sara, hiding behind some big block of debris.

"This guy a friend of yours? I don't like him!" Mick shouted at me, Sara, and Ray. Fake Arrow kept shooting at us and Snart and Rip raised their guns, aiming and shooting at him.

"What are you doing?" Sara asked worriedly.

"It's called shooting back." Rip answered and I looked over the side of the debris to see if I saw the fake Arrow.

"This can't be the Green Arrow." I heard Kendra.

"Dunno let's see, Sara walk out there." I said jokingly as fake Arrow was shooting at us. She looked at me, an annoyed expression. I held up my hands in defense, "Fine, I will." I said and looked back to fake Arrow, right as an arrow whizzed by. My eyes widened as I jumped back.

"That's not Oliver Queen." Sara said. I rolled my eyes.

"I couldn't tell." I muttered sarcastically.

"Sure dresses like him." Ray said. Mick began shooting his heat gun again and I formed my own bow and arrows, shooting at him. He shot back, one hitting my shoulder and causing me to wince, pulling back as I grabbed at the arrow now in my shoulder. I sighed and quickly pulled it back out, biting my lip hard enough to make it bleed so I wouldn't scream.

"Shoots arrows like him!" I shouted in pain. Once the arrow was out, I threw it to the ground and put my hand over the wound, putting pressure on it.

"Well, whoever he is, I don't plan on sticking around to get shish kebabbed by this dude." Jax said and Snart stood up from behind the car they were hiding behind, shooting his cold gun. I winced and moved my hand to see my shoulder bleeding.

"Kid's right. Let's stay behind and kill him." Mick said and I leaned my head back on the stone as Sara looked at the blood seeping through my fingers, pointing it out to Rip.

"We need to return to the ship!" Rip shouted and made a break for it as everyone else followed.

101

We got to the ship and walked to the bridge, I was still holding onto my bleeding arm. I was about to walk to the MedBay before Sara spoke.

"All right, Rip. Tell us the truth." Sara said and I turned back to them, raising an eyebrow.

"You've all seen how the time line is malleable-in flux until it is set. Well this future is not set." Rip said, there was an exploding light and I winced slightly, "Remember when I told you it was dangerous for any of you to know too much about your futures? Well the events that you dread could very well come to be due to your actions to prevent them." Rip explained. I pulled my hand back and the blood continued to seep. I let smoke form around my shoulder and solidified it temporarily.

"You know what I think? I think you thing too much." Mick said, to which I smiled slightly.

"Believe me when I tell you that the best thing for yourselves and for this mission is to make repairs to the Waverider here in 2046 then head back to your own time and make sure that none of this ever comes to be." Rip said. My smile disappeared, replaced with a frown as I turned and began making my way to the MedBay. Once there, I pulled off my hoodie, looking at the wound. I wrapped a bandage over my shoulder and under my arm on the opposite side, making sure it would stay before sitting in the chair and wrapping the wristband around my wrist.

"Gideon, can I have something that will lessen the pain without making me pass out?" I asked, looking around and making sure no one walked in.

"Of course, Ms. Carlisle." Gideon said. Within minutes, the pain was nearly gone and I smiled. I unwrapped the wristband, knowing it would take a little bit for it to build back up. I put my hoodie back on, despite the blood, and grabbed a bottle of Advil before making my way to my to my room, where I changed out of the bloody clothes and into a clean muscle tee and leather jacket. Once I was done, I walked out of my room and saw Sara walking down the hall in her white canary outfit.

"Hey, Sara, where you going?" I asked, running to catch up with her.

"See what the boys are up to. You wanna come with?" she asked and I nodded.

"Duh.

101

As we were walking to the cargo bay, I heard Mick, Rip, and Snart talking.

"It's not money. It's not jewels. It's not a valuable artifact. You're just lucky I'd steal anything right about now." I heard Mick.

"As I suspected." Rip said.

"We'll get your gizmo. You just get this bucket flying again." Snart said as me and Sara walked into the room.

"We're coming with." Sara said, going to her weapons immediately while I leaned on the door frame.

"No, no you are not." Rip said, "You two are too emotionally connected to this city." Rip said as Sara put on a white jacket, "We've been over this."

"I'm over you." Sara said and my eyes widened, "You got us on a mission to change the time line for yourself. And you won't even let us look at our futures? Now, we know this city better than anyone else," Sara said, referencing to me, "and you're gonna need us out there. So either we're coming with, or we can find out if the Time Masters are as good at teaching people to fight as the league of assassins."

"Or as good at teaching people to bash things as me." I added, forming my sledgehammer with a small smirk, which was hidden by my mask. Rip looked at us for a minute before turning and opening the door to the Cargo Bay. Sara immediately walked out and I followed, sledgehammer in hand, ready to bash at least one thing.

The rest followed us not long after,Rip and Mick walked in front, Sara and I in the middle, and Snart in the back. I looked around anxiously. My city was in ruins and I wasn't there to stop it. I sighed, looking down so I wouldn't have to look at the broken buildings that I used to be able to recognize.

"This is just a potential future. It doesn't matter if we kill anyone here, right?" Mick asked, looking around.

"Well, to avoid the risk of a paradox, it's probably best to refrain from killing anyone." Rip said and I smiled slightly.

"I'm not gonna promise anything." Mick said, I smirked. Sara began speeding up, cutting through the middle of them as I followed, recognizing where we were. Laurels old apartment. It hurt to think that she could be dead.

"My sister's apartment used to be over here." Sara said.

"I seem to remember something about your father being a police captain." Snart said and I looked back at him in confusion as to why he would ask that, two question marks most likely appearing on my mask.

"Your point?" I asked.

"Did one hell of a job." Snart said and I glared. Quentin had always been nice to me when I was younger, I was friends with both of his daughters and we looked out for each other. Obviously it changed when I came back and became a vigilante, but me and Oliver got it handled mostly.

"My father and everyone else would never let this happen... Unless they were all dead." she said sadly. I frowned and put a hand on her back.

"They're not dead, and we're gonna find them." I said quietly, making her give me a small smile.

"Thanks Fae." she said and then chuckled slightly, "You remind me of this one friend I had in high school." she said and I tensed.

"Why's that?" I asked, trying not to show my fear of her finding out.

"She was always optimistic and loud and always wore her heart on her sleeve, no matter how much crap she was put through. You two would have gotten along." She smiled up at me sadly.

"You say was like something happened..." I trailed off, hoping she'd pick back up to tell me what I needed to know to know if it was me she was talking about.

"She was on the Gambit with me and Oliver when it sunk." She said, looking down sadly, "He and I were the only survivors." Oh, honey, if only you knew.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I said, looking away and she shrugged.

"I've had time to cope, I've come to terms with it." she said and I smiled, glad that it didn't make her too upset. I felt a hand on my arm pull me back and soon I was standing next to Snart.

"Snart." I said, not looking at him.

"Fae." He said, looking at me, "What was that?" he asked and I looked at him, two question marks appearing on my mask.

"What was what?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"You talking to Sara about her long lost friend. You tensed up." he said quietly so no one else could hear. I sighed and looked down.

"It was nothing." I muttered and looked back up at him with a smile, "Just don't like talking about dead people." I said, but he still looked suspicious, he was about to say something when he was cut off by Sara.

"Palmer Tech's just two blocks up this way. Or at least it used to be." Sara said. Before any of us had time to react, there was a huge explosion to our right. We all turned towards it to see if we could find the why it exploded or what exploded, seeing nothing, but an explosion. Rip turned back and pointed to a nearby bus.

"Take cover in there!" he shouted and we all ran to it, Sara in front, me behind her, Snart behind me and Mick behind him. I quickly ducked behind a seat, my heart beating three times as fast as normal, either from anxiety or adrenaline, I couldn't tell.

"It's like World War III out there." Snart shouted, sitting in a seat.

"It's beautiful." Mick said as Rip got on the bus. I looked around.

101

"That's my seat." I heard and looked up, smiling at the girl who just talked to me.

"You can sit with me then." I said happily. She glared at me.

"No, that's my seat, alone." she said and I realized what she wanted.

"Well, I'm not getting up, and if you're not sitting down in a seat with someone else in it then good luck finding an empty one." I said and looked out the window. Without another word she grabbed my hair, balling her fists as she pulled me out forcefully. I let out a scream in pain as everyone started looking at us, other than the bus driver. She threw me out into the isle of the bus and sat down, taking up the whole seat. I frowned and stood up, rubbing my now aching head as everyone whispered and laughed. I grabbed my stuff off the floor and sat in another seat, tears welling up in my eyes.

101

"Fae, snap out of it." I heard as someone snapped their fingers in front of my face. I shook my head and looked up at whoever it was, before realizing I had been crying under my mask. I swore and looked down, holding the mask to face them as I wiped my eyes before looking back up. I noticed that Sara and Rip were gone, leaving me with Mick and Snart.

"What the hell was that?" Mick asked and I raised an eyebrow.

"What was what?" I asked for the second time in the past hour.

"Your mask made a weird noise and went black." Snart answered and stood up, "Anyways, we're going to rob something if you want to come." he said and began walking to the door. I smiled and followed, Mick behind me. Not two minutes after we left the bus, some guys on motorcycles came up to us, holding up guns.

"Drop you're weapons and hand over your wallets!"

101

"Hand it over." Tiffany said, holding out her hand. I stared at my feet.

"Hand what over?" I asked.

"Your money. I know you have some. You always buy food for that Gothic chick." She said and I glared at her feet.

"She's not Gothic, and I'm not handing over my money." I said and she scoffed.

"Fine. Kyle." She called over her boyfriend from his locker, who was surprisingly more ruthless than her.

"Yeah?" he asked, and she pointed at me.

"Teach this dog a lesson." she said with an evil smirk. Before I had time to move, Kyle had connected his fist with my face, then gut, then anything he could punch until I was spitting out blood. I just laughed.

"One day, I'm gonna kill you both, and no one will mourn for you." I said, earning another punch as everything went black.

101

I came back to as the leader of whatever group this was walked up, wearing a giant fur coat that looked really hot in the heat we were already in.

"-we're gonna crush you into the pavement like a couple of ants." he said and I rolled my eyes, forming my sledgehammer behind my back.

"Really?" Mick asked, seeming amused, as was Snart and I. Snart turned to Mick and me.

"What do you say we teach these fellas a lesson?" Snart asked and I froze. Everything stopped as I stood in fear. I knew they weren't them, but I couldn't help the fear that froze my feet to my spot as Snart got punched in the face and Mick punched the leader before shooting him with his heat gun. Mick put on the fur coat and Snart said something, but everything was muffled. Mick got on a motorcycle and Snart turned to me. I looked up at him before everything went dark.

101

I woke up to a headache and the sounds of loud music and shouting that was annoying. I stood up slowly, looking around. I saw Snart from across the room, and Mick in the middle of it. I could tell power was going to his head, just from seeing how much people were worshiping him. I looked back to where Snart had previously been, but he was gone.

"He refuses to get back to the ship." I heard and jumped, turned to Snart and punching his shoulder.

"Don't do that!" I said and sighed, looking back at Mick, "The power's going to his head."

"And something's wrong with yours." Snart said. I looked around the place, looking at anything, but him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I mumbled, seeing two familiar faces in the crowd of goonies.

"I've noticed you spacing out, freezing, you dropped into my arms. What's wrong?" he asked and I didn't take my eyes off the couple.

"Nothing, but thanks for caring." I said and made my way through the crowd as the two walked away and into a room.

I opened the door, looking in as I shut it behind me. It was dark, and from what I could see, no one was in it.

"Hello, dog." I heard and turned around, face to face with one of my enemies. My heart seemed to stop at that moment.

"Long time no see." I turned around again, seeing Kyle and Tiffany standing together, both smirking at me.

"Why are you guys here?" I asked and Tiffany pushed off of Kyle, walking to me.

"To see you, silly." she said, "Who are your cute friends?" she asked, smirking as she talked about Mick and Snart.

"They're just friends, unlike you." I said and glared at her.

"Look babe, she wears a mask now to hide her ugly ass face." Kyle snickered, the same gut-wrenching snicker from high school.

"You know, when you died, I was so devastated. I even said a few words at your funeral." Tiffany said and I looked at her, not wanting to know what they were, but knowing she'd tell me anyways, "I said, here lies the most idiotic, hideous girl I've ever seen. Half of the time she couldn't tell up from down and left from right. She was never in style. Her love life was so boring, I mean, she died a virgin." she said, anger boiled up in me as I wanted to punch her. I clenched my fists before the door behind me opened. I turned to see Snart leaning against the door as usual, "You want to prove me wrong, we both know it. So go on. Do it." She said in my ear.

"Why are you in here?" Snart asked, pushing himself off the door and walking up to me.

"Do it!" Tiffany shouted and without another word I tore off my mask and crashed my lips on his. He tensed up, but after a moment he kissed back, smiling slightly. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. After a minute, we pulled back and he smirked at me.

"Do you always randomly kiss men?" he asked. I rolled my eyes and kissed him again, this time he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, smiling as we kissed. Things got heated, but we were only kissing, before I heard the familiar voice once again.

"Don't be such a prude. Prove me wrong, just like you've always wanted to!" Tiffany screamed. I pushed off his jacket and he put me down as I pushed him against the door. I pulled off my leather jacket and he finally pushed me away, just slightly.

"What's gotten in to you?" he asked and I stopped. I looked up into his bright blue eyes before looking around. Tiffany and Kyle were gone.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly. I backed up and picked up my jacket, and mask putting them on without looking at him, mumbling another apology as I pushed past him and through the crowd of goonies once again.

"Wow, that was just sad." I heard and grabbed at my head.

"Shut up." I muttered and walked to the bar, sitting on a stool and putting my head in my hands. I turned in my seat, watching as Snart walked out of the room, his jacket was back on, but he looked sort of like he had just seen a bear. He walked to the bar, sitting on the opposite end as me. I didn't think he'd seen me yet and the next time I looked over at him, he was leaning his head on his hand, trying to sleep. I sighed and ordered two drinks, but asked if the other one could go to him, to which the insane bar tender nodded.

As he was pouring the drinks, I heard glass shattering as more people walked in. I turned to see people wearing similar masks to Slade Wilson, causing me to freeze as I watched. Some ugly kid came walking through them all, looking pissed about something.

"Party's over. Everyone hit the streets. Hit everybody on them. I want Green Arrow dead by morning!" He said. He had an Australian accent, just like Slade, and I wondered if he had any relation to him. Mick stood up from his kingly seat, walking toward this new guy.

"Listen, pal, this is my gang. The only orders they take are from me." Mick threatened and I sighed, putting my head down. How has Mick not gotten himself killed yet?

"Hmm, might be your gang, but it's my city." Slade Wilson Jr. said. I looked at Snart, who glanced at me before we both looked back at them, "Green Arrow is running with a female assassin in white and a Brit in a brown coat. Kill them all." he said, obviously talking about Rip and Sara. He smiled at Mick before walking away with all of Mick's new goonies. I walked to the right of Mick while Snart stood on the left.

"Looks like your new minions are about to go on a citywide manhunt for Rip and Sara." Snart said.

"So what?" Mick asked. I glared.

"They're gonna kill our friends." Snart answered.

"Since when did they become our friends?" Mick asked and I rolled my eyes.

"You tell me. You, Fae, and Raymond seemed to get pretty tight back in Russia." Snart said, looking at me as he said my name.

"I've never been tight with anyone." Me and Mick said in unison.

"Mick, it's time to go." Snart said and we both began walking away.

"You're not the boss of me." Mick said. I turned to see him reaching for his gun and my eyes widened.

"Actually, I am." Snart argued. I could hear Mick's gun powering up as they stared at each other. After a moment, Snart breathed in, "Okay, let's all take a deep breath." Snart breathed in and I did the same, trying not to smile under my mask, "And we'll make ourselves a deal. You help us get to Rip and Sara. Once they're safe, we can have this conversation. Fair?" he asked. Without another word, Mick walked past us both, and I turned to Snart.

"Just so you know, in there, I-"

"Same goes for you. Conversation later." he said and walked away, giving me the cold shoulder. I frowned and followed.

We hijacked a few motorcycles while trying to get to Rip and Sara. We rode in a tense silence and I hated it. Silence was one of my least favorite things. It didn't take too long, however, to find our two companions, along with fake Arrow. They were being ambushed by Slade Jr.s men, Rip was shooting, Sara was swinging her sticks, and Arrow was shooting... Well... Arrows. Immediately after seeing them, we decided to join the party. Snart and Mick shot their guns and I formed my sledgehammer, bashing some guy over the head who was going for Sara.

"I had that." she said and I laughed.

"Sure you did." I said sarcastically with an eye roll.

"Lady and gentlemen, your timing is exemplary." Rip said and I winked at him, most likely turning into a winky face on my mask. Soon all the men were down, either bruised, frozen, or burnt.

"Where's Connor?" Sara asked and I raised an eyebrow.

"Who now?" I asked and realized the fake Arrow was gone. Rip walked to the center of the room, where a bow lay. He crouched down and picked it up before standing back up.

"He's been taken." he said. Sara knelt down by one of the men we had beat.

"These are Grant Wilson's men." she said and my eyes widened.

"Wait, Wilson, does that mean Slade-"

"Had a son? Yep." She answered before I had time to answer. I grimaced.

"Who would ever make a child with that psycho?" I asked no one in particular and shivered in disgust. I realized he'd had a son before Lian Yu, but in this timeline, that son would be grown and older, so it would've been someone after the mirikuru. Disgusting.

"Hmm." Mick hummed, "The guy with the half face and the body armor has a real mad-on for the kid in the hoodie." Rip threw the bow down and turned to Sara.

"Can I have a word?" he asked and they walked away to have their conversation. I heard something about it only being a potential time line and I wondered if Ollie was still alive. I stood there awkwardly with the arsonist and his partner, glancing at them occasionally.

"Now that we rescued them, let's have that chat." Mick said and Snart nodded, turning to me quickly.

"Be right back. Stay put." he ordered before they walked away as well. I frowned and looked down.

"Abandoned again, huh?" I heard and jumped, turning to see Tiffany standing there.

"What do you want now?" I asked, swallowing my words.

"Just to remind you of how-" Before she finished her sentence, I heard a noise and turned around, seeing Mick on the ground and Snart standing over him. My eyes went wide as I took a few steps closer.

"What did you do?" I asked and Rip and Sara came back.

"What happened to him?" Rip asked.

"Difference of opinion." he answered.

"Right." Rip said suspiciously, "We need to get this," he held up a briefcase, "and Mr. Rory back to the Waverider." he said and both him and Sara walked away. Snart stared at Mick's unconscious body and I sighed, following after Rip and Sara, leaving him to clean up his own mess.

101

When we got to the Waverider, I parted ways and walked down the hall to the MedBay.

"Where are you going?" Rip asked and I turned back to him, walking backwards.

"Check on something." I stated simply before turning back around. Once in the MedBay, I sighed, knowing what I was doing was stupid, "Gideon?" I asked. It was the second time today that I'd been in here and it was getting old.

"Yes, Ms. Carlisle?" Gideon asked and I sighed once again.

"Is there any way to check if someone had something... messed up with them... In the head?" I asked, looking down at my feet.

"It would be best to consult with Captain Hunter with this, would it not?" Gideon asked and my eyes widened as I looked up.

"No! No one can know. Not until I figure out what's wrong with me." I said and there was a short pause before Gideon answered again.

"I can do a mental scan to see if you've developed any form of mental disorder, but-"

"That's fine Gideon, just do it please." I said, sitting down in the chair. Two bended stick thing's came down around the sides of my head before back up and I looked around.

"Scan complete. Results will be finished in twenty four hours." Gideon said and I nodded, sighing. I then replaced my bandages and walked out just as Snart was walking past. He looked at me, raising an eyebrow as to why I was in the MedBay.

"Had to change my bandages." I said before he had to ask, pulling my shirt slightly to show the new bandages. He nodded.

"Let's talk." he said and walked into the MedBay with me.

"What do you want me to say? I'm sorry?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I want to know what's gotten into your head." he said and I frowned.

"Go ahead and tell him. He'll never believe you. He'll just think you're some kind of... Psycho." I heard and tensed, balling my hands into fists.

"Look, whatever's going on with me doesn't matter. That kiss, it was a mistake." I said. I saw a flash of something cross his eyes as he tensed slightly, before looking away.

"Alright, if that's how you feel." he said and walked past me. I instantly regretted my words, but it was too late to take them back. I quickly went off to my room.

When I got to my room I threw my mask on the bed and covered my mouth to muffle shouts of anger. I clenched my fists and created a punching bag from my smoke, solidifying it as I punched it. I punched it until my knuckles bled and sweat dripped from my forehead.

"Pitiful." I heard behind me.

"Get out!" I screamed, turning and throwing a punch at the voice, "Get out of my head." I whispered and sighed, falling to my knees before putting my head in my hands.

"Ms. Carlisle, Captain Hunter had requested your assistance in the Bridge."

101

After I'd wrapped up my hands in bandages and put on my mask, I met the rest of the in the Bridge. Apparently, Sara had gone after Grant Wilson on her own to save Connor. After an hour and a half, Rip decided to take us on a little field trip. There I saw two Green Arrows, smiling as I knew one had to be Ollie. I began swinging my sledgehammer, knocking two people over and one out. Oliver was getting his butt kicked before Connor shot an arrow at Grant, wrapping him up in a rope. I smiled and knocked out one more guy before letting my sledgehammer fade, jumping up on the platform he was on, and running up to Oliver. I attacked him in a hug, he was old now, he had a beard and a metallic arm. I'd missed so much time. He hugged me like he hadn't seen me in forever, and he hadn't. I considered Oliver like a big brother, after everything I went through in Foster homes, he and Thea had always been there for me. We had all been friends since childhood.

"Oliver?" Ray asked and I backed up, smiling. Oliver was the only one, other than Rip now, who knew who I really was. I hopped back down with the rest of them.

"It's good to see you again Ray. You too Fae. Kendra. Thanks for the assist." he said. His voice had grown deeper by a million percent.

"So, who's that?" Kendra asked, referring to Grant. I had forgotten that they had only been out here once.

"His name is Grant Wilson. Once upon a time, his father, Slade, tried to ruin my life." Oliver explained and I frowned, remembering Slade. I had known him when he was good, even had a tiny crush on him, but he turned into a psychopath and I left those feelings behind the moment he killed Moira.

"That's not a nice family." Ray said and I shook my head.

"Nope." I said quickly. Oliver sighed, looking at fake Arrow who I'd figured out was Connor.

"That's nice shooting, John." Oliver complemented and my eyes went wide.

"John, as in John Diggle Jr? It would work with the time period and oh my god, you shot me! I held you when you were born, I could've dropped you, and you shot me!" I shouted at him and he laughed nervously.

"Sorry about that." he said and walked up to Oliver, "And it's Connor." he said, holding out Oliver's bow for him to take back. Oliver took the bow, looking at it.

"Either way, it's Green Arrow." he handed the bow right back to him and I smiled.

101

We got back to the Arrowcave, which was the same place, but very different inside. Everything was covered in plastic and/or broken down. I looked around, remembering happy memories with the team as the lights struggled to turn on.

"We have a lot of work to do." I heard Oliver say and turned back to him, "Grant Wilson did a good job of keeping the criminal element in the city together. Now there will be plenty of people to fill the vacuum." Oliver said and I looked at my feet.

"I feel like I should stay." Sara said and I nodded.

"Me too." I mumbled quietly, knowing we wouldn't be able to.

"Before you and Ray left, you both told me Rip Hunter brought all of you together. It's important." He said, talking to me directly before talking to us both.

"I just hate the idea of leaving you here to fix it alone." Sara said and I looked up at the two.

"I'm not alone." Oliver said and looked at John, who nodded.

"Just-just be careful, alright?" Sara asked. I snorted.

"Well, you should know better than most, I rarely ever am." he said and I smiled. Sara hugged Oliver and I let them do their thing before hugging him again.

"Seriously though, if you get killed I'll come back to this moment and kill you myself." I warned and he chuckled. I then turned to John and smiled, "Come on. You know you want a hug." I grinned and he rolled his eyes, but hugged me nevertheless. I smiled and turned, following Sara back to the ship.

101

Mick was standing by a window and I walked up to him. We were about to take off and I could see the burnt down city from above.

"What do you want?" he asked and I looked up at him.

"You should know that he was just doing what he thought was right." I said quietly, as Snart was on the other side of the room.

"Even though it wasn't what I thought was right?" Mick looked at me and I bit my lip.

"Sometimes, choices like that are hard to make. It doesn't mean he doesn't want what's in best interest for both of you." I said to which he answered with a grunt. I sighed and walked away. Once Rip told us all to sit down, I walked onto the platform, sitting in the only open seat, which was next to Snart. I could see him looking at me and I sighed.

"Busted up your hands or something?" he asked. and I looked at my bloody bandages.

"Or something." I said quietly.

"So, where to next, Captain?" Stein asked and I looked up at the rest of my team.

"Well, the beauty of this mission is that the real question is not where, but when. In which case, I suggest that we next hit Savage when he least expects it." Rip said and pushed his lever up, causing the lights to go dark blue and the ship to jerk forward.

To say the least, I was intrigued.
