03: Answer
"See you in the cafe." Jimin smiled and walked to his class.
I turned around and started to walk toward my math class. Where was Suga? I wondered 'cause the last time I saw him, he was in the music room, but when our class ended and I stood to exit, I didn't spot him nor any of his friends. Maybe he left through the second door. I didn't notice it at first, but it explained how he got into the room; he must've entered through it.
I walked into my class, drowned in my thoughts that I didn't notice everyone was staring at me. I blankly sat on my seat.
What was Suga going to do with me? What would he do if he didn't get a kiss? Why did he exit from the second door? I didn't know why, but I was feeling uneasy, unsafe, 'cause I knew this guy was dangerous. The way he stared at me, I didn't want to remember. It looked like he would eat me up. I was scared.
Who wouldn't be?
"Hey!"
I snapped out of my ocean of thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around.
"Yes?"
"Are you Kim Ivy?" a girl asked.
She looked almost my age, maybe a bit older than me, her dressing style much more girlish and revealing. She wore a deep V cut neckline purple dress which was knee-length short. She had done a lot of makeup, maybe to hide her flaws. She looked pretty.
Her hair was loosely opened and anyone could easily notice that she colored her hair. I liked that color, though-a shade of red wine. With her, two other girls were also staring at me, waiting for an answer.
One of the other two girls wore an oversized blackish colored sweater and a short red skirt. I liked her fashion sense 'cause she had done light makeup, and her lips were a bit pinkish. I like light makeup.
The other girl's makeup was much ridiculous and uglier than she actually was. She had done a heavy makeup, her lips as red as blood and eyes bearing heavy eyeshadow and mascara. An awkward greenish knee-length dress she wore looked as if she was promoting some type of 'Go Green' campaign.
Although they were sitting on separate benches, it looked like they were friends. I could see the impatience in their eyes with every ticking second. The girl had a straight face, her eyes scanning my facial expressions. Should I tell her or not? In a snap, my heart started to beat fast. What should I do? I could feel that my whole body being weak, and I wanted to go back home. I wanted to run to a safe place.
"Why?" I asked, regaining my courage.
"Just asking," the girl said with a dedicated look as if she was desperate for an answer.
I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to face it. The only thing I was thinking about was what she would do if she came to know that I was Kim Ivy. She might already know the answer. Yeah, she already knew it, her facial expressions said it all, but what was the point of her asking? Maybe, she wasn't sure that I was Kim Ivy and wanted confirmation from me.
"Oh, okay," I said, smiling like an idiot.
She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could, I cut her off.
"I should go." I stood and grabbed my bag, acting as if I was in a hurry as I exited the class without wasting a second.
I didn't look back even when I got a glimpse of her shocked face. I stood outside the room and waited for the teacher, which was the best thing I did.
"Why are you standing here?" the teacher asked. Our teacher was pretty fashionable. She also colored her hair, but it was a natural one, a honey blonde shade.
Most of the teachers I saw were older, but this teacher looked young. She had light pinkish lips and a bit reddish cheeks. An ankle length jeans, a ripped one, a full sleeve loose navy blue jacket, and a pair of grey sneakers left me a bit spellbound.
Wow! She looked younger than me, and she had a good fashion sense.
"Ma'am, I'm a new student here, and I really wanted to ask if you offer any type of tutoring that I'd like to join in 'cause I'm weak in maths," I said softly.
I literally lied with confidence, but inside, my heartbeat was erratic and I thought that maybe it wasn't the right idea to leave the class.
"Oh, is that why you're standing here outside? But you could've asked that inside the class or after class."
"Actually, Ma'am, I thought if I'd ask you inside, I'd be interrupting the class. I found it best to ask you here, and I hope I didn't break any rule." I smiled.
"Oh, then, it's okay. You don't need to worry, I'm giving everyone forms today, and if you're interested, then fill out and submit the form." The teacher smiled, entering the class.
"Okay, Ma'am." I nodded, smiling as I followed her.
I didn't look at anyone and sat on the same seat I had earlier. I was happy that I handled the situation wisely, but I wasn't calmed down 'cause today hadn't ended yet. A lot of things could still happen.
What was wrong with my luck? Why the hell was I facing all this shit on my first day?
Anyone could ask why I didn't answer that girl's question. I could have answered, "Yeah! I'm Kim Ivy!"
I also knew that neither she nor her friends could do anything more than ask random questions to me related to Suga, but I couldn't take the risk 'cause I already faced a lot of harassment in my old school.
What if they also start to harass me? What if they start to bully me, too?
I was aware that, of course, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow they'd come to know that I was Kim Ivy, but until then I was safe in my little paper boat.
