For the past few days General Jennifer Wolf had been feeling lousy, like really lousy. It had all started when she had woken up feeling extremely nauseous and spent the first hour of that morning puking her guts out. Since then she had suffered from stomach cramps, more nausea and loss of appetite. Her soldiers noticed the change and many of them told the general to go get checked out at the doctor's.

However, the doctor couldn't find anything wrong and wrote off her condition as nothing more then a severe stomach flu. Jenni wasn't convinced though. Deep down she knew that something else was going on. Hence, the reason she was currently on a bullhead going to see the one person who knew her the best out of everyone else in the whole world, to get an opinion of what she should do.

"Ma'am are you sure you want me to drop you off here?" The pilot asked as the ship hovered over a heavily wooded area.

Jenni merely nodded and braced herself as the ship landed. She then took a minute to tell the pilot that she would call for an extraction when she was ready to head home before walking away deeper into the woods.

Soon though the tree line thinned out and a village came into view. The wolf faunus couldn't help but smile at the bright colors and smells of the spring flowers. The village of Oniyuri always did manage to put a smile on her face and, of course, it just happened to be home to one of her favorite people.

She didn't get to enjoy the view for long though as another nausea spell washed over her reminding her of the whole reason why she came in the first place. Quickly she headed to a large building in the center of the village.

Slowly she raised her hand to knock on the door. It didn't take long for a familiar old woman to answer.

"Hey Maria," Jenni said smiling, "is Cinder home?"

Maria nodded and let Jenni inside, "I didn't know you were coming by."

The wolf faunus gave the older woman a sheepish smile, "yeah...I just felt like surprising Cinder that's all."

She walked further into the house before going to the living room to see her older sister Cinder. The aforementioned woman was sitting on the couch reading and when she saw Jenni her eyes lit up.

"Jenni!" She exclaimed as she jumped up to give her little sister a big hug.

She then pulled Jenni to the couch, "sit down and I'll make us some tea."

Jenni felt her stomach growl in protest at that but she suppressed a grimace, "sounds great...."

Soon the two sisters were chatting while enjoying some green tea. Well Cinder was anyway, Jenni was only pretending to take sips of her drink so she wouldn't hurt Cinder's feelings.

After a moment though Cinder put down her teacup, "so what's wrong?"

"Wrong? Why would something be wrong?"

The raven haired woman crossed her arms, "Jen you're the most organized person I know. If you came here without telling me then something must be wrong."

Jenni sighed, "ok....I think I'm sick...like really sick. But I don't know with what."

Cinder immediately looked concerned and held her sister's hands.

"I even went to the doctor but he said all I had was a stomach bug. But I don't know I feel like it's more."

"Well what's been going on?"

The wolf faunus felt her stomach begin to groan again and she pulled her hands away from Cinder in favor of wrapping them around her middle, "mostly this. My stomach hurts all the time, I can barely eat because I keep throwing up, and every smell seems to make me queasy." She then pushed her teacup away, "like this tea for example."

Cinder thought for a moment and then her amber eyes widened, "hey Jenni has it ever occurred to you that....well...you might be pregnant?"

Jenni nearly tumbled off the couch, "excuse me?!"

Her big sister rolled her eyes, "oh please don't act like you and Ugine haven't-"

"Of course we have," she interjected before crossing her arms, "but I'm not pregnant."

Cinder stood up and offered her hand to Jenni.

Jenni slowly took it and together they went into the bathroom.

"I should have some pregnancy tests under the sink, take one."

The younger woman rolled her eyes as she began to close the door, "the fact that you keep a stash of these things tells me that you and Charlie spend way too much time in the bedroom together."

Cinder stuck her tongue out at the closed door.

A half hour later she was still sitting in the hallway when she heard Jenni crying.

Slowly she pushed the door open, "well?"

Her little sister pointed to the bathroom counter, where a pregnancy test with two very prominent pink stripes displayed on it was sitting.

Cinder immediately hugged Jenni tightly, but not too tightly of course, "Jenni this is so awesome!"

Jenni however didn't look very happy at all.

"What's wrong?" Cinder asked as she noticed how sad her sister looked.

"Cinder....I-I can't.."

"What do you mean?"

Jenni began to tear up again, "I can't be pregnant. Not now. Not so soon after last time. What if-"

Cinder sighed sadly and began petting the side of Jenni's head as she hugged her, "I know. But you can't always worry that that's what will happen if you get pregnant."

The younger woman placed her hands on her belly, "what do I tell Ugine?"

Her big sister kissed her cheek, "tell him that he's gonna be a daddy."

Somehow that made Jenni feel a bit better and she stood up, "ok...and thanks for everything Cinder."

The two sisters embraced before Jenni left the house. She then called for her ship and stood outside waiting.

Her stomach began to hurt again but this time Jenni didn't fight it or let it make her scared. It was all worth it for the new life inside.
