This one shot will be a Future!AU I wanted to write a holiday one shot with two of my favorite couples. RoyalFlame is an OC x Canon ship with Cinder Fall and LillianDuncan's OC Charlie Charme. Mechanical Shadow is an OC x OC ship with my OC Jenni Opal and LillianDuncan's OC Ugine Faux. Also this will be based loosely on the I Love Lucy Christmas Special.

"Hey Jenni have you found the star yet?" Cinder asked.

"Yeah here," Jenni said unwrapping the tree topper and handing it to her big sister.

"Ugine have you finished the popcorn garland yet?" Jenni asked.

The fox Faunus nodded and handed an empty strand of wire to his wife.

"Ugi!" Jenni yelled, "where did the popcorn go?!"

Ugine's mouth was full of popcorn as he turned to her, "I don't know." But it came out like "I dig nose."

"You're as bad as the kids," she scolded.

"Speaking of which. Where are the cookies they put out for Santa Claus?" Cinder asked.

Jenni heard faint giggling and lifted up the tablecloth of the side table and found her two year old daughter Luna and Cinder's three year old daughter Angel under the table both with a cookie in their hands. Luna also had the glass of milk held in one of her tails.

"Alright c'mere cookie monsters," Jenni said grabbing the girls and pulling them out from under the table.

"Put me down!" Angel yelled.

"No no mama!" Luna squealed.

Jenni took the cookies and milk and put them back on the plate, "didn't I tell you two to go to bed?"

The little girls nodded.

"Then get to bed." She said, "the sooner you do then the sooner Santa will come."

The two girls smiled at this and raced each other up the stairs to their beds.

"I should probably put the twins down too," Cinder said picking up her one year old twins James and Coral from their playpen on the floor and carrying them to their cribs upstairs.

As she was doing this Jenni and Ugine began to unbox more ornaments to hang on the tree when they heard Cinder's husband Charlie cry out in annoyance from the next room.

The wolf and fox Faunus immediately jumped up and ran into the room to see what was wrong.

Charlie stood there with a saw in his hands. He had bought a real Christmas tree earlier in the day and it had looked beautiful. But now it was barely five inches tall and the bark and branches lay around on the floor.

"Charlie what did you do?!" Jenni questioned her brother in law.

"Well I was looking at the tree and it looked a little lopsided, so I decided to trim it to make it look more even. But then it looked lopsided on the other side so I tried to fix it again....I guess I got a little carried away." He said sheepishly.

"Little is right. That looks awful," Jenni said.

"Hey I like it. It's less tree to decorate." Ugine said laughing.

Jenni slugged his arm.

"Well please don't tell Cinder," Charlie begged.

"Tell me what?" Cinder asked coming in the room, then she noticed the tree, "CHARLIE!!"

Her husband shrank back, "Sorry...."

"Go get another tree," Cinder said.

"Hey this one is fine," he said, "look." Charlie picked up an ornament and hung it on the tree. However the weight from the one ornament caused the tree to tip over.

"New tree Charlie. Ok?" Cinder asked.

Charlie sighed, "Yes dear. C'mon Ugine help me pick one out."

Ugine nodded and with that the men put their coats on and headed outside.

Jenni smirked and shook her head. "Those two."

Cinder and her headed back to the living room and Jenni went into the kitchen. "Hey Cinder you want something to drink?"

"Sure," she said picking the remote up to see what was on.

"I still have some leftover wine from when dad was here last week. Want that?" She asked.

"No I can't remember?" Cinder asked as she gently probed her slightly swollen stomach.

"Ah right. Bun number 5 is on the way." Jenni said.

"Four," Cinder corrected her little sister.

Jenni shrugged and poured a glass of wine for herself and a cup of tea for Cinder. Upon entering the room she saw her sister had turned on The Nightmare Before Christmas.

"When is this not on?" The raven haired woman asked about to change the channel to something else.

"Hey don't change it!" Jenni yelled, "that movie is awesome."

"Jenni it's a Halloween movie. That was almost two months ago."

"And?"

"It's out of season."

"C'mon sis," Jenni said trying to take the remote.

Cinder stood on the couch and playfully held the remote above her head while sticking her tongue out.

Jenni rolled her eyes and sat down on the couch deciding not to pursue trying to get the remote since her sister was a good foot taller then her.

The women heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. It was Charlie and Ugine who were back with the tree.

They went out to help them carry it in. However when they came back inside they couldn't believe their eyes. In the main hall was a huge decorated Christmas tree. The stockings that were hung by the fireplace had been filled and there were presents under the tree.

"You girls just couldn't wait huh?" Ugine asked.

"We didn't do this," Cinder said.

"Well then who did?" Charlie asked.

Jenni went back outside and she saw boot prints in the snow on the roof of the house. Next to them were what appeared to be sled tracks.

"You don't think-"

"No...it couldn't be...." Cinder said.

"Well," Charlie said, "now that our work has been done for us I would suggest we get to bed. The kids will be up early wanting to open gifts."

The other three adults nodded and headed upstairs. It had definitely been an interesting evening to say the least.
