"I'm really sorry to have to ask this, but do you think I can stay here tonight?"

"Guys guys guys!  Did you see his latest post!?"  Jisung practically shouted as he slammed his tray of food down on the table.  Changbin, of course, rolled his eyes due to the fact that they were, yet again, talking about X.

"Omg yes!  Every time I read it it gives me goosebumps!" Seungmin squealed with Jisung which threw whatever appetite Changbin had out the window.

As Changbin got up to throw the majority of his lunch away, Chan called after him.  "Yah, what're you doing?  You barely even touched any of that!"

Changbin shrugged and tossed the food in the trash can then returned to his seat at the table.  "Wasn't hungry I guess.  And since the topic isn't going to disappear any time soon, what was so special about X's post this time?" The uninterested tone was very obvious in Changbin's voice as he asked the question, but that didn't really matter to the rest of the table.

"Whoa... I never thought I'd see the day that Seo Changbin was actually interested in something about X." Jisung saw the chance to tease Changbin and took it, and of course it worked.

"Just shut up and tell me before I change my mind," Changbin's warning was enough for Jisung to shut up and get on with it.

"Okay okay... So you know how he usually quotes authors or something right?  Well, today, he didn't quote anyone!"

Changbin stared at Jisung, waiting for him to finish, but when he didn't, he turned to the others.  "Anyone care to elaborate?"

"I got it," Minho took over the explanation from Jisung.  "So, like Jisung said, X usually quotes other people in his posts, but today, he posted his own words." Changbin nodded, finally understanding what Jisung was trying to explain.

"So what exactly did he say?"

"You really need to keep up with the blog dude... But it said 'Being so different from everyone around you, in more ways than one, to the point where people have a hard time understanding you gets very tiring..'" Minho fell silent, eyeing Changbin's face in attempts to discern what exactly his expression meant.

Changbin, on the other hand, wasn't even thinking about the expression on his face.  He was lost in thought, playing the words that Minho just shared with him over and over in his head.  After a moment, he finally remembered why the words had bothered him.

"Is everything okay?"

"Oh, yeah... I just have been having a hard time adjusting."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, since the move, it's been very hard getting used to everything.  It's all brand new, from the food to the language.  It's just been rough, and with my mom and dad out on their business trip and my sisters staying their friend's house, I got kind of scared being in my house alone."

"Oh..."

"Haha yeah, I guess when you haven't really moved around a whole lot it's hard to understand."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay.  I'm used to being different, in more ways than one."

Changbin was brought out of his thoughts when he felt someone tap his shoulder.

"Oh, Jeongin!  We were wondering where you were!  Come, sit down and eat something!" Woojin's voice was rather loud and it annoyed Changbin.  He turned to see the younger standing behind him with his usual, braces filled smile.

"Oh, I already ate.  But can I talk to you for a second?" The younger asked while looking at Changbin.  He nodded and got up from his seat, giving a short wave to the others left at the table.

The two walked out of the cafeteria in silence.  Only after the two sat down in an empty classroom did the silence finally break.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Changbin asked, still slightly confused by the youngers need for privacy.

Jeongin let out a soft breath before he answered the question.  "Well, I wanted to say thank you.."

"...For what exactly?"

"Well, the thank you isn't from me.  It's from Felix.  He wanted to thank you for the other night, whatever that means."

Changbin stared at the ground.  Why didn't he just thank me himself?  He kept the question to himself because he knew Jeongin probably didn't know.  Instead, he asked a different question.

"I thought that Felix never really talked to anyone?"

Jeongin let out a somewhat nervous laugh.  "Oh, yeah well, I have actually been friends with Felix since he moved.  They moved into the house right next to mine, so when the first moved, my mom invited them over for dinner."

"Ah..." Changbin's voice trailed off as his mind began to wonder.  If he lived right next to Jeongin and they're friends, then why did he need to come all the way down to my house?  He threw the thought aside and brought his focus back to Jeongin.  "Where is Felix anyway?"

"Oh, he stayed home today.  His sister is sick and since his parents are still out of town, he had to stay home to take care of her."

"Oh... Do you think he'd mind if I dropped by after school?"

"Hm, I don't think so.  He'd probably enjoy the company!" Jeongin's face lit up as his signature smile spread across it.  Changbin let out a soft laugh due to the younger's excitement.  Since it was the end of the week, Changbin figured he could throw together a quick dinner with the left overs from the past few days and take it over to Felix's.  After some thought, that's what he decided he would do.

When Changbin got home, he spent a little over an hour cleaning up.  He tidy his room a bit, cleaned the bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, dinning room and cleaned up the garage a little bit.  Fridays and Saturdays were usually his free days, so he spent them cleaning the house.  He wasn't ever sure when his parents would be home, and he didn't want them coming home to a dirty house.

After he finished cleaning, he spent some time relaxing, whatching some tv and spending a little bit of time on his music.  As much as they got on his nerves, Jisung and Chan were two of his closest friends, and when they came to him and asked if he wanted to produce music with them, he couldn't refuse.

By the time Changbin actually got around to make the dinner he had planned earlier, it was half past seven.  He pulled out a container of kimchi and a container of rice.  He had made the rice the night before and had some left over due to the fact that he was the only one home.  He took the rice and decided to make rice porridge.

Once it was finished, he divided it into two containers and packed them in a bag along with the kimchi.  When he had everything packed, he checked the time on his phone.

8:24pm

"Ah shit... I hope they don't mind a late meal." Changbin said aloud to himself as he slid his shoes on and opened his front door.  Since Jeongin said that Felix lived in the house next to his, Changbin knew exactly where to go.  Jeongin lived just down the street from him, so it took him about five minutes to walk to Felix's, maybe not even.

Once Changbin was standing in front of the door, he froze.  He didn't know why, but his body wouldn't let him move.  He was just stuck there, like a statue.

It took a minute, but he eventually unfroze himself and knocked twice, hesitating a bit between knocks.  After a couple seconds, there was a clicking sound and the door opened.

"Changbin?  What are you doing here?" A confused Felix asked from the door way.  Changbin stared at him, blinking a few times before he realized that Felix had asked him a question.

"Oh, uhm Jeongin told me that your sister was sick, so I made you guys some rice porridge.  There's kimchi in there too.." Changbin spoke softly as he handed the full bag to Felix.  "Sorry it's so late, the porridge took longer to make than I expected."

Felix laughed and leaned against the door frame, holding the bag with two hands.  "It's alright.  Olivia's asleep right now, but I'm sure she'll appreciate the gesture," Felix said with a smile.  Changbin suddenly didn't feel good.  His stomach had a weird feeling in it and he wasn't sure what it was, but he knew that he wanted to head back home.

"Well, I guess I'll see you at school on Monday," He didn't mean for it to come off like he was rushing to get out of there, but Changbin knew it came off that way anyway.

"Why don't you stay for a bit?  I could use the company since Olivia's asleep," Felix's voice softened along with his expression.  Changbin felt horrible for having to decline to boy's offer, but he really wanted to leave before his stomach got any worse.

"I really shouldn't.  Maybe some other time though?"

"Sure." Changbin could feel the disappointment in Felix's voice.  Changbin smiled apologetically and turned, heading back down the driveway.  He reached the edge of the street and was just about to cross it when Felix called out to him.  "Hey Changbin?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

Changbin paused and smiled, even though he knew Felix wouldn't be able to see it in the dim lighting.  "You're welcome.  Good night Felix."

"Good night Changbin."

°A/N°

I guess me updating this story at midnight is just gonna be a thing guys.... Probably not but eh, we'll see!  Gave you guys a bit of a long one eh?  I hope this story is coming out well because my idea for it is really really good and I want it to come out well.  This is probably my favorite story I've ever written in the genre of fanfiction tbh, and I've written a lot... Most of which I have never published but still.  Anyway, I don't have much to say.  Oh, so I low-key feel like I've been neglecting my GC fic but I can't really think of ideas for it, so just give me time mah dudes!!!  The updates for the GC fic will probably be slower than the updates for this fic, so just know that.  But yeah, I got nothing else so I guess I'll talk to you guys later. Love ya losers!!! <3
