Walking into school the next day, Changbin was immediately on edge.  The halls were mostly empty, but the few people that were scattered around had their eyes trained on him the whole time he was in the hall.  Changbin had no idea why everyone was acting the way they were.  He knew that Felix had posted on his account, but he didn't think that anyone would really care too much about it.  He guessed wrong apparently.

He walked into his first class and took note as to how silent everyone became as he did so.  It startled him so he froze in the door way, not entirely sure how to handle the situation before him.  After a moment, Changbin fixed the strap to his bag and moved towards his seat in the back, avoiding any eye contact with the people in the desks as he passed.  Once he was seated, everyone's eyes moved off of him and conversations sprang back to life as if nothing had happened.  Changbin sighed and turned his head to look outside the window, drowning out everything else around him.

Throughout the day, Changbin received glances and stares from anyone he passed.  None of them seemed to be angry or malicious, but he wasn't sure.  Occasionally, someone would lean in and start whispering things to their friend they were standing by once they spotted Changbin, but he tried his best to not let it get to him.  He had been walking down the hall to meet up with his friends for lunch when he finally broke.

The hall had been particularly crowded with students leaving and heading towards the cafeteria.  Changbin walked down the hall with his earbuds in and his hands in his pockets, eyes trained on the ground in front of him.  As he was walking, someone threw something and it landed right in front of Changbin, which caused him to look up at the people around him.  Everyone immediately stopped talking and stared at him, some leaning into their friends whispering whatever nonsense it was that they were sharing into their ears.  Changbin just looked at the people staring at him then ripped his earbuds from his ears.

"What are you all staring at!  I don't understand why you all are acting this way!  We're just people, it's not that big of a deal!  If you want to know something or if you want to say something, so it to my face, don't just whisper it to your friends thinking that I don't know what's going on!"  Changbin was screaming at the people around him, causing some of them to retreat behind someone else.  His blood was boiling at this point.

Not a single person moved from their spot, but they continued to stare at him, some even pulling out their phones probably to record him.  Before he could begin yelling again, Ten came from behind a group of people and grabbed Changbin's arm, dragging him away from the hall of people.

Ten pulled him along until they were in front of the familiar staircase leading up to the roof.  Ten had let go of Changbin's arm and was waiting for him to start heading up the steps.  When he didn't, Ten pushed him.

"Get the fuck up these stairs right now or so help me," Ten said with a grunt as he pushed Changbin up the first few steps before he caught on and started climbing on his own.  Once the two of them were outside and in their space, Ten turned to Changbin and sighed.  "Dude, what the hell happened back there?"

Changbin shrugged his shoulders as he plopped down in one of the seats.  "I was angry."

Ten gave a short laugh.  "Yeah, anyone could tell that, but why were you angry is my question?"

Changbin looked down at his hands, which were fidgeting with the corners of his nails.  "After Felix posted that picture of us together on his account on the school's blog, everyone keeps staring at me and no one will talk to me.  At first, I didn't really care, but I just got tired of people turning away and talking about me with the closest person when they couldn't even come up to me in person.  I don't know, I'm just frustrated I guess."

"Where's Felix?"  Ten asked, a hint of worry in his voice.

Changbin shrugged.  "I'm not sure, why?"

"Wow," Ten started, his voice sporting a tone of disappointment in it.  "Have you really not thought about how hard this must be for him?  For the entire year, he has been hiding behind this account making these posts.  Everyone wanted to know who he was, and now he does a face reveal, not just a normal one, he does one with his boyfriend.  It took a lot of people by surprise, so if you think that you're frustrated, just imagine how Felix must be feeling right now."  In all honesty, Changbin wasn't even thinking about how people would treat Felix.

"Damnit," was all Changbin muttered before he got up and ran back down the steps into the school, not even bothering to tell Ten goodbye.  Changbin ran up and down the halls, checking each classroom he passed.  After about fifteen minutes of searching, he suddenly remembered overhearing a certain conversation not too long ago.  He quickly changed his directions, heading towards the music hall.

Changbin walked down the quiet hall, his ragged breath filling the silence.  He walked past the closed doors, making sure to check in each window just in case.  He knew that Felix was more than likely going to be in Sae's office, so he didn't spend too much time checking the rooms.  As he approached the door he heard shuffling so he knew that Felix was in there.  Hesitantly, he opened the door and peaked his head inside the small, dimly lit room.  Felix was standing with his back turned to the door on the other side of the room.  He was looking at something in his hands, but Changbin couldn't make out what it was.  Quietly, Changbin entered the room and shut the door.  He made his way over to Felix and wrapped his arms around his waist, embracing him in a cheesy back hug.

"What are you looking at?"  Changbin asked as he peeked over Felix's shoulder.  A soft smile graced Felix's lips as he leaned into Changbin's hug.

"Oh, it's just a picture."  Felix said as he held up the photo a bit for Changbin to see better.  In the picture, Felix was a few years younger and he was standing in between two girls.  The three of them were standing in front of a man and a woman in and they were all standing on a beach somewhere.  Changbin thought for a moment, resting his head on Felix's shoulder.

"Is that your family?" he finally asked after a moment.  Felix nodded, lowering the photo again.

"Yeah, this was back before Rachel graduated and before mom got super sick.  We went on a trip to the beach my parents met at to celebrate their anniversary, my sisters and I came up with the idea.  We all had so much fun that day"  Felix had set the picture down and turned so that he was now facing Changbin.  He rested his arms on Changbin's shoulders and the two fell into a silence.  It wasn't awkward this time around, it was very comfortable.  The two studied one another for a moment before Changbin broke the silence.

"How have you been today?" he asked, a sudden worried look replacing his previous expression.  Felix shrugged, dropping his hands to his sides.

"I've had to deal with worse, don't worry" He tried to give Changbin a reassuring smile, but Changbin saw how tired the boy was.  Changbin suddenly grabbed ahold of Felix's hand and lead him towards the door.  When Felix resisted, Changbin turned to him and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Felix, trust me, okay?" he asked and Felix nodded.  Changbin opened the door and led Felix down the hall, making their way towards the cafeteria.

The cafeteria was lively as always, filled with plenty of students eating their lunch or just hanging out with friends.  It didn't take long for Changbin to spot his own group of friends, so he and Felix walked hand in hand with on another towards the table.  As they did, the whole cafeteria seemed to fall silent as the students began to notice the pair.  Changbin could feel Felix's hand tense up once everyone began to stare, but he turned and gave him a smile as the two approached the table.

"Whaddup?" Changbin said as he and Felix sat down.  The group of friends, who had been goofing off and joking around, fell silent as the two sat down.  Changbin gave them all weird looks.  "What's wrong?" he asked, his grip of Felix's hand suddenly growing a bit tighter.

Jisung was the first to speak up.  "Well, you see... we kind of all feel betrayed." he said simply.  By now, the rest of the students had gone back to their own conversations allowing the cafeteria to burst with life again.  Changbin crinkled his eyebrows at Jisung's comment.

"What do you mean 'betrayed'?" he asked as he let go of Felix's hand.

"Well... you never told us that you were X!" Jisung suddenly shouted at Felix.  Changbin had to hold back a laugh because he knew that his friends weren't actually angry at them.  He turned to Felix, who had suddenly forgotten how to function like a human.

"Uh... I didn't know that I was supposed to tell you guys?" he said after a moment of thinking.  Changbin couldn't help but chuckle at his boyfriend's cute awkwardness.

Jisung as well as the others at the table, on the other hand, had all started pouting.  "I thought we were friends?  Aren't friends supposed to share everything with each other?"

Changbin raised his brows at Jisung statement and he looked at him with both amusement and disbelief.  "Yeah, if they've known each other for longer than like five, six months!"  Jisung just shrugged and started playing with the food he had in front of him.  Everyone else turned back to Changbin and Felix, each and every one of them sporting a dorky smile.

"So, Changlix is officially official, huh?"  Chan asked.  Changbin shook his head at the ridiculous 'ship name' his friends came up with, but he nodded and grabbed Felix's hand again.  He placed their linked hands on the table and looked at Felix with adoration.

"Yep.  It's officially official."  Changbin was happy.  He didn't care anymore, he didn't care what other people thought.  He didn't care if other's judged them.  All he cared about was that he was happy, and that Felix was happy too.
